Hey all!
Is it possible to flash stock firmware without Odin. I'm currently in IL without access to a laptop or computer.
Thanks!
Speedy!

That will only work if your phone is rooted, plus it's for an older version of android and the developer doesn't even update it anymore.

Has anyone tried this method, it says that it roots the phone right away ? It looks very promising.

Yes, works very well for me.
Thread here.
It doesn't "Root" ur phone
Use it on rooted phone and flash the files used to be flashed from odin on this app and keep root
yeah...you need a rooted phone.
With this, you can keep on flashing without the need of a pc.
Try it numerous time already and working fine but file need to be place in Internal SD card.
Tried to flash using external card...not working well.

Hello Guys
I just installed a fresh version of the latest firmware (at least I believe) It says Andoid 4.3 baseband version N7100XXUEMJ9. The Wifi is on and it's connected to my home wifi but I can't open chrome, google play or anything, seems like connected but internet is not working. When on my laptop and other devices is working.
I did some search online and with odin i pushed on it the wifi fix for MJ2 but it didn't help. What should I do?
Thanks for your help

Hey guys!
So here we go, i recently have the latest firmware on my T-Mobile LG G4 rooted with TRWP so when Marshmallow arrives how can I update it? How can I restore factory settings so I can take the OTA?
If I remove super su and on his settings select un root, can I still take the OTA even if TRWP is installed?
Thanks anticipated

From what I've read, is that when you have a custom recovery installed you can't update OTA. You will need to flash a stock .kdz file.

Does flashing the KDZ file requires a PC? Or that flashes with TWRP?

I used odin and downloaded the img.tar file for my G928T
https://eu.dl.twrp.me/zenltetmo/
Connect in download mode and simply load up the tar file and apply it, it should reboot into TRWP recovery automatically. Volume up + power + home button to manually boot into it.

This TWRP bootlooped me for some reason. Did you flash a custom kernel first?

Nah, completely wiped my phone, installed the 7.0 update via odin, then rebooted phone and flashed TWRP in download mode.
When you say "this" I assume youve tried other versions that have worked? If so, why not give that a shot.

I had the recovery I was using from MM but I also completely wiped then installed 7.0 in Odin. Only difference I rooted before trying twrp, maybe that effected it. I'll keep playing with it I'm sure I'll figure it out. I was just curious if you needed a custom kernel. Thanks again for the help and link to root.

Look in the S8 plus forum for ROMs for the Partcyborg ROM. You should be able to flash that because it is a bootloader version 2 ROM.
did you figure this out

From what i understand to get back to stock we have to do a full wipe factory reset. Then use the right firmware and do odin flash(not princecomsey version).

I did the odin with both version and I couldn't install the blackberry connect for work. I was told those apps are like military grade sh!t and once your rooted this device will always detect root no matter what you stock flash
