Hi everyone,
The other day I tried to install a file on the oneplus 7T, the installation failed and now my device does not work any sensor. I was looking for a way to get the persist.img to try to repair it and not take it to the repair service. Can anybody help me? I have used the Msms download tool method but I think it does not work.
Is anyone here able to backup their persist.img and share it here? I somehow corrupted my partition and my sensors aren't working.
MSM tool should work. OnePlus themselves are using it to restore the device.
And give some more info on what you were trying to install

I was trying to make a backup of all the files of the mobile and I will have skipped a step that just failed the sensors. I have already tried the MSM and it does not work for that reason I need to try to install the persist of another phone to see if that is the fault.

Thank you very much, thanks to your help, all the sensors work except for the fingerprint. Do you know any way to restore it? I've tried everything and I don't know what to do anymore.

You can throw the file again, because I can't find a copy of this section anywhere, the only one I found doesn't work so I have to. If not difficult, reset the section again. Thanks!!!

I don't have my device yet, but intend to try and dump as much as possible before I start messing about with it.
How do I get a dump of the system partition without rooting though?

But After December Patch Release Its Not Installing In My Mobile Device. Somehow There May Be A Partition Issue. So That Is Why I Created This Thread For Flashing.

1. install this: http://api.en.miui.com/url/MiFlashTool
2. download this: https://en.miui.com/download-354.html (Download Full ROM)
3. unpack tgz file so you see files with *.bin extension
4. enter fastboot mode (turn off the device, press the volume– key and the power button at the same time, then connect the device to the PC with a USB cable, you need correct drivers (probably included in MiFlashTool))
5. run MiFlash, pick correct folder where rom files are and press Refresh if you see your device and then press flash with clean all option selected (ofc it will delete all your data)

but i never flash my A2 Lite, only my old Redmi 3 with MIUI ROM ... so i don't try this steps my self, maybe wait if someone more experienced will answer you

I have not tried to flash the mi a2 lite yet but when I have done it on the redmi note 4 you could flash it unlocked with a custom rom. If it was already locked and you were trying to flash the same version of the official firmware it would not flash, so my advice would be try flashing it locked and if that doesn't work unlock it and try again. The point being either locked or unlocked it will not brick your phone unless the flashing process is interrupted.

Yeah that's what I thought but it might be possible that it also works on Android One, the tool probably just runs the shell/bash scripts inside the ROM folder and I guess those are adjusted for every release (at least I hope so)

my phone also lost imei, so my nvram was rebuilt from engineering rom.
I restored sim2 imei with Maui meta. Sim1 can not be restored with that method, sadly.
There are lots of tutorials online for fixing sim2.

Hello guys! I'm new with GSIs and I managed to flash one successfully on my HMNote12, problem is that everything works EXCEPT cellular which.. for a phone.. is kind of an issue. The issue exactly is that my IMEIs are totally missing. So if anyone knows a fix, it would be appreciated! (My phone isn't rooted as I just can't do it, even after patching the boot image it just boots but isn't rooted..)

Try installing lsposed module from magisk
Then install Android faker
U can change imei number from it
