What's with the lack of custom ROMs? - Realme X2 Questions & Answers

Just not a very popular model?
Maybe we could do a ko-fi or a patreon to support somebody to be a maintainer for a ROM, say Lineage or PE

I would agree to that! It's a great phone, but ColorOS... Has its issues.

Hi guys,in our community I'm seeing so many awesome devs and devs team that are developing very stable custom rom and some of them have OFFICIAL support and this is a great thing,but I tried Mahdi-Rom on my brother's Huawei Y300-0100 that's based on KitKat and I must say "It's one of the most feature-rich and true optimized custom-rom!" so I want to ask to our community "IS ANYONE GOING TO DEVELOP EUPHORIA OS(that's the successor of mahdi in lollipop) FOR OUR XIAOMI REDMI 1S?" I dont'want any ETA only want to know if there will be any someday.Hope I'm posting in the right section

As some of you guys know, I've deleted the device and vendor trees for project treble, as I will reset development for it.

Question WHY NO CUSTOM ROM YET FOR XIAOMI 12X

this great phone should have custom rom support as poco f3 has.
i am going to buy this phone only if it has custom rom support same as foco f3.
I am also keeping an eye on this device, it's reasonably priced and I'd like to try porting sailfishos on it since it could run android 11 which is supported as a porting base. The same catch 22 applies, I will buy the device when a lineage-like custom ROM is available..

in my case i am interested in LineageOS for MicroG https://lineage.microg.org/ or Project /e/ https://doc.e.foundation/devices both in Xiaomi 11X "alioth"
Same, waiting on a custom ROM. The phone is literally perfect. Good price (Sub 450, great form factor, great battery, all it needs is a custom ROM as MIUI is meh.
xiaomi.eu has a build for it. I know MIUI isn't everyone's thing but I quite like the tweaks the team over there made.
I'm wondering how it's possible that alioth has lots of roms and psyche not.....? ;-)

Let's wait for Xiaomi India to bring the 12X to their country, as there are alot of ROM devs out there who can build an AOSP ROM for the 12X
