1. Unlock your bootloader, install custom recovery and root it.
2. Flash CyanogendMod 11 (Monthly SNAPSHOT Builds) from here
3.Install Lollipop theme for cm 11 to get lollipop buttons and ui (from playstore: link )
[Yes, It's paid theme you can buy it or you can just... you know ]

and then to get app drawer like above screenshot, restore your nova settings using my nova launcher's backup file
(Download it from Attachment and paste it inside sdcard\data\com.teslacoilsw.launcher\backup"here" and restore it
from "Nova settings>Backup and Import> Restore).
5. To get lollipop easter egg install xposed module name: Eggster from here
and set easter egg to lollipop from that app.
6. Android version is just build.prop edit , to get lollipop game install Lollipop Land from playstore:
link here and set this game as your default Easter egg.

Hello. I have a request : Can someone post a little tutorial of how to remove the red version text in the beta versions(see the picture. I see there is an xposed module but not working in latest versions. Can it be done with a program like TickleMyAndroid(recompile, remove red text and decompile?
Sorry if this is in wrong forum

That is a text that helps beta developers know which version users have when they post screenshots in Beta community. So, it can't and shouldn't be removed.
If you want to have the app without it use the stable version.
Cheers.
Edit: Sorry for wrong information, there are ways for removing under my post.
It can be removed. There are modded apk's but for older versions. I dont post any screenshots so I dont need that. Xposed module was working but recent update removed beta text in settings and broke the module.
Beta versions have extra features like edit music info and hide folder.
Easy to remove it, use apk editor on playtore. Delete number version done

Other ways to find the app version
Try the xpose module, someone mentioned stopped working but worked for me
Edit: the xposed module, renames it back to Walkman with the icon on a stock launcher without having to use like nova launcher

You probably can if you can get your device rooted bit without root access I don't think so

Go to THIS link then go to the download page and grab the Stock SystemUI + Framework with minor mods โ DOWNLOAD and install it. Then go into System UI Tuner in settings.
Unfortunately, I can't find it again, but one of the OTAs had a tool built in to do this in the UI Tweaker. It might have been the "V" version but I haven't been able to get it again.

Awesome thank you!!
Developer community works hard, sometimes it becomes so useful and one such case is here now. Pixel Launcher from Android O Beta which has been exclusive to Google devices such as Pixels and Nexus running Android O Beta is now available for almost any Android device running Marshmallow 6.0.1 and above. The best part, it isn't any zip that you need to flash instead, now we have a patched APK which cuts down all the hassle and you can have the newest Pixel Launcher on your device straight away as far as your device runs Marshmallow or above.
Thanks to linuxct, the xda user who ported this app which has been tested with various devices from Samsung, Moto and OnePlus (only those which are running Android Marshmallow or above) and running smoothly without any problems. This launcher adds app shortcuts straight when you touch and hold the app. If you see and error while accessing the Wallpapers section, please confirm that Google Wallpapers app is installed on your phone because without it, the error will popup saying the app is not installed. If you have been using older version of Pixel launcher till now, please uninstall and then install this patched version, your setup of the homescreen icons might not remain the same as it was on the previous version. Here's the file

I think that happened because when I installed I was using wi-fi. When I left home and start using only mobile connection the temperature appeared.
Anyway, the launcher works great, but I'll wait more time for some upgrades, like the options when we hold the apps icons

I see may people struggling to get this work, but it's really simple to get the Google's Digital Wellbeing feature on PIE based ROMs.
Steps :
1) Install latest wellbeing apk from HERE
2) Install this app and add a shortcut to Digital Wellbeing on your homescreen.
First thingy done, now let's get to the permissions part.
Search for Digital wellbeing or wellbeing in apps and ensure all permissions are granted.
Lastly
1) open settings
2) search for usage access
3) allow wellbeing access
Done.
Now to see the app click on shortcut firstly created and you can see the dashboard working.
โ
Thank you, this is great and works like a charm. Was looking for a way to get it on my galaxy s9+ with Pie. Another question, when there is another update out for the wellbeing app, do I just have to download and install the newer apk file and it should work?
EDIT: Installed the latest version 1.0.229438543 and it works, good work man!
In the new version there is an integrated option to show it in the app drawer, so after checking it the other app for the shortcut is not needed anymore.
Wind Down is not working!
I installed it but the Wind Down is not working, any clue?
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
Hey, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 got the pie beta update. I installed the digital wellbeing app and it worked fine but the wind down option is not working :crying: . I found an option in developer options named Simulate Color Space please developer find any way to automatic this setting.........
I am trying to get Digital Wellbeing on stock Samsung S8 (Canadian version) running Android Pie (released today). After the Android Pie update I realized that it did not include Digital Wellbeing. The Play Store shows "Your device isn't compatible with this version." when I try to download it from there.
The link to the APK above is dead. Is there a new link?
