Hi all , does the A50 have ar emoji ( mimic your actions and send to contacts ) not the ar stickers
AR Emoji
It does although the app might not be visible. I have to search for the app on the search bar of the settings screen.
The AR Emoji is available through the Camera app, just press Emoji on the right top corner.

On another ROM it had it where you'd click next to the space to open up emojis (forgot which one) but this one, you have press menu then press insert emojis
hey does anyone know how to and be willing to take the mms.apk with emoji from the theme and apps and make emoji able to be selected from the keyboard instead of the smileys? the reason is so that i can use the emojis on apps like instagram if someone at least can show me how ill do the work....also how does one get it to see emoji in color on instagram and other apps?
If you download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jlsoft.inputmethod.latin.jelly.free and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handcent.plugin.emoji then go into the keyboard plugin settings there will be an option to enable iOS 6 emoji. When it is enabled just hold down the enter key and slide to the emoji. You then have emojis directly in the keyboard!
I use Kii Keyboard. It has the built in emojis including the new emoji from iOS 6

is there a way i can view emoji in my messaging app? i was sent emoji from an iphone and all i see is *. thanks
Use the settings soft key, then scroll down. You should find a check box to enable support for emojis.

i don't see one. all i see is settings and when i press that there isn't an option for enable emojis or anything close to that
The option they are talking about isn't in the TouchWiz SMS app. If you delete SecMMS.apk and flash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1950443 you will get a messaging app that shows emoji and you can send them too.
You will loose the ability to swipe to a message on the lock screen, but I think it's worth it.
When I do a search in the maps app, say for a McDonalds near an airport, I get the results on the map. I select one of the results and tap the right side of the popup (the half that has the name) and at the top I get a star icon to add to my map locations, and a camera icon to take a photo to submit, but there is no stacked dot icon which apparently I'm supposed to use to add the search result to my contacts. If I tap the left side of the popup of course I get the Directions screen. If I go to the results list, and tap on the result in question, it just goes to the result information screen with the star and camera icons but no stacked dot icon.
How on earth do I add a search result in google maps android, to my contacts? If there's supposed to be a stacked dot icon for me to use to do this, how do I get it back?
I'm running stock ICS, rooted. The only google items I've frozen with titanium backup are:
gmail
google play books
google play movies
google+
Hi
I am looking for a method to change the google search bar that is shown on the home screen to lets say DuckDuckGo.
My problem so far is, the DuckDuckGo app widget is a new bar, that is not fixed to the bottom, so it does not move with the swipe and it opens the special DDG browser.
I'd like to have a bar that is exactly like the Google bar, that is fixed to the bottom and opens my standard browser f.e. Firefox.
I couldn't find anything of the sorts. Even custom ROMs I looked up had either the DDG app or the standard Google bar.
Is there a solution out there, that would work the way I described?
Thank's for your help.
