Asphalt 7 Graphics quality to low !!

Guys i just bought asphalt 7 and downloaded the latest 1.0.5 version all i can say is that the tracks are showing no reflection and the world detail is also to low ! Previously i used pirated one in which the graphics quality was way to much better does anyone knows why gameloft made the graphics details for S2 so low ? And is there any way to correct it ?

No one ?

To me graphics seems OK but I have problem with steering, not very smooth. I have set max sensitivity but still have to tilt device almost all the way judy to make soft turn then when return to straight car turn suddenly to opposite side and I keep hitting sides of the track.

hi mate, u gonna have edit build prop in asphalt 7 folder using root explorer or summat, its no longer on my phone, head over to mobilephonetalk, check asphalt 7 thread , read the posts,explains how to in more detail, i agree its horrible on low res graphics

Yes there is actually a way to correct that
1. You go on you device to Android//obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM / DeviceProfile.xml
2. Then copy the DeviceProfile.xml to your PC and make a backup of it
3. After that open the file in notepad and edit all the graphics you want from false to true.
4. Then just simply copy the modified DeviceProfile.xml to the com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM folder on your device
5. Run the game
6. If the game crashes the you just gotta try modding the DeviceProfile.xml until it works fine for you
7. If the game still doesn't start with the modification then just use the old backup-file and then run, it will work...
(on my nexus 7 the version 1.0.4 ran 60 fps but the 1.0.5 runs some 20 fps...., so what dahfug Gameloft did?)

Asphalt 7 1.0.5 have a graphics problem/bug?
Nexus 7 and other top-end and famous devices are listed there but what about the others?
Will I have to guess where I'll edit setting about my phone? I have a SE Xperia ARC S (LT18i)
Some options when I change them true or false the game doesn't open and with others the car in 'car select' menu is invisible, all is dark except headlights.
So it doesn't get any better than this. and by 'this' I mean extremely slow loading screens and ugly low quality cars, in race game speed it's acceptable but with some slowdown sometimes.
Before that I used version 1.0.0 and it was amazing, high quality graphics and super fast.
By the way, what is build prop? It doesn't exist in game folder.

[MOD] Enable ClearMotion on MIUI based ROMs

Folks, I bring to you the wonderful frame interpolation feature supported by our chipset MediaTek Helio X10: ClearMotion!
Disclaimer:
Confirmed working on most MIUI builds for Redmi Note 2. (7.0.12, 7.0.14, 7.1.4.0 CHINA, 7.1.3.0 CHINA, 5.12.24, 5.12,23, 5.11.1 etc)
Does not work on Global stable MIUI Builds beyond 7.0.12; however, it works in equivalent China builds.
Pre-requisites:
Rooted Redmi Note 2 (or MediaTek based device on MIUI 7 ROM)
TWRP or CWM recovery installed
Flashable zip file containing ClearMotion libraries ported to MIUI
Steps:
Method 1:
Download the file "Enable_ClearMotion_v2_for_Redmi_Note_2_by_Hasaan6545.zip" and place it in your sdcard
Reboot into recovery and backup your ROM (as a precaution).
Flash the file. Reboot
Play a video using MX Player (or any player that supports HW decoding) and feel the difference
Method 2 (Only for those who can not flash the zip for any reason; you may attempt manual installation).
Download the file "Enable_ClearMotion_v2a_for_Redmi_Note_2_by_Hasaan6545.zip" and place it in your sdcard. Extract the folder.
Using "Root Explorer", navigate to "system/build.prop" and use its built in text editor to add the following lines at the end of the file. Don't forget to add an extra empty line at the end.

Using Root Explorer, copy the libraries located in the zip file's system/lib folder into your phone's "root>system>lib" directory.
Reboot your system and play a video to see the difference (if the mod worked for you)

WHY NOT SIMPLY USE AOSP ROMs FOR CLEARMOTION ON REDMI NOTE 2?
AOSP ROMs for Redmi Note 2 offer ClearMotion and MiraVision by default; however, there are advantages of using ClearMotion on MIUI instead of switching to AOSP:
Camera with MediaTek's InstantFocus™ and TrueBright™ technology: On MIUI, we retain a good quality camera that we have to sacrifice when switching to AOSP. (Yes, the fast focus speeds and superior image quality on MIUI ROMs are not due to the "so-called" PDAF sensor; it's because of Helio X10's InstantFocus and TrueBright technologies; both of which are operational in MIUI Camera.
Most AOSP ROMs for Redmi Note 2 are (currently) plagued by an assortment of deep sleep bugs that pop up at times and drain battery during standby. This is very annoying; and is attributable to AOSP Lollipop Build 5.0.x more than the ports itself.
Slow Motion feature on MIUI is superior to that in AOSP's (the latter needs the stock camera app and saves videos that can be played in slow motion only through the stock video player; whereas MIUI actually exports a slow motion video in mp4 format that can be played using any player, and can also be shared)
I really feel suited to AOSP, but the MIUI ROM also has much eye candy to offer.

Notes:
This is an answer to those who claim that this mod makes the ROM stagefright vulnerable (Ironically, the same people include this mod within their ROMS)
30/12 V2 released: Added build.prop tweak in the zip file so installation is much more simpler. Stagefright issue investigated: Modifications in an older AOSP-based libstagefright.so included in this mod are necessary for the mod to work. Those of you who are still upset about stagefright alarm in some stagefright testing apps, please consider the following:
1. You may simply disable MMS auto-retrieval for their safety

3. There is very, very little possiblity that the stagefright bug will ever be exploited against you; whereas the mod is yours for everyday use.

Last but not the least, I respect the developer community; however, the courtesy of giving credit for the mod when included in the ROMs should humbly be observed. I posted this mod in December 2015; prior to which nobody was able to enable ClearMotion on MIUI and many people claimed that it would be impossible to do so due to software differences.

I've installed this mod but after I set 1 in EngMode my screen don't divide ( wich means that ClearMotion don't work ). But I think I see some differences in video and YouTube... Is this an option ? Mod working but screen don't divide în ClearMotion Demo ? I have Reno2 Prime and MIUI 7 5.11.5 Beta.
P.S. I have 2 screenshots with and without this mod on YouTube video.. If that help you..
P.S. 2 Maybe I'm crazy and there is no differences and Mod don't work on my ROM

MiraVision works but MIUI's builtin display settings conflict with it.
I personally think that MiraVision is unnecessary because when you play videos on YouTube or view pictures against a black background, MiraVision thinks that the image being displayed is underexposed and therefore boosts up brightness and lowers the contrast which looks ugly. Apart from that, it's a handy little feature.

Screenshots don't help. This mod can be seen to work while videos are being played. However, if the screen doesn't divide in demo mode, it's unlikely that the ClearMotion is functi onal. Have you tried playing the video using HW decoder on MX Player? Are you sure that build.prop lines are added properly?
Reinstall the mod and/or try it on any other MIUI version. It does work.

Glad you like it. The videos play perfectly in sync with the audio. The only noticeable delay is immediately after seeking (as the SoC loads the successive frames and generates images to interpolate).
As the whole process is hardware optimized, battery life does NOT suffer.

Can anyone confirm that this Mod work on MIUI Beta ROM ?

Brother I accidentally missed this question earlier. It came to my notice now so I am replying it late.
It does work on YouTube, Facebook and other similar apps. Basically it works wherever hardware decoding is used i.e. on all video formats supported by the native player.

This mod boosts the framerate; not the texture itself. However, the output is visually pleasing and I guess I understand what you mean when you compare it to playing a Pc Game (Hardcore gamers always play at a minimum of 1080p @ 60fps )

Pubg mobile-lagging with sd 821?!!

Mi5s has sd 821 which can take any android games on high settings smoothly..
But my mi5s is lagging while pubg is on high graphics settings where mi5 running it on high setting smoothly
i am on miui 9.2.1.0 global
anyone else facing that problem?!

Some tips from miui forum:
1. Change your model to OPPO (maybe R11s or others), in build.prop or with xposed module. It was said to work in games from tencent
2. Flash an LOS/aosp rom
3. Remove the temperature control file: http://en.miui.com/thread-635457-1-1.html
Either of these was said to be working, but I never played big games like pubg

Same problem here.. it's like playing a YouTube video at 0.5x speed.But I'm using Los 15.1. I use kernel adiutor for good performance but pubg still lagging. Any solution?

i am now using viper os nougat latest build and running pubg with highest graphics at 60fps
looks like this game isnt optimized well for all devices out there....even note 8 laggs...as it is beta version next update will solve this lagging issue for all devices..hopefully

I read some reports of Google Pixel users, who have the same problem. They also run Snapdragon 821.

I can't apply hd settings. Any solution? I'm currently using pixel experience

It could be risky

I've experiemced the same problem here! Im using LineageOS, but previously using latest MIUI global stable rom. Unfortunately, using miui, playing pubg is really laggy most of the times. I tried to flash Lineageos 15.1, sadly the lag in pubg still exists and even worse! Roatating the character flickers. I haven't experience that much lag with some other games using my mi 5s. Hope this is only a game/software issue though

exynos laggs....on SD 835 it works fluently

Based on my experience with the game on a high-end PC, I think the game is simply badly optimized. It also runs quite bad on fast PCs.

Not so much. I am using the latest MIUI Global rom.

It runs ultra smooth on the Oneplus 5T, but on the Mi5s sometimes it lags, I was thinking on flashing LOS to the Mi5S but seems that it doesn't matter it still lags its really annoying

hello, I tried this configuration in different roms (leedroid, pyrania, resurrection remix, lineage) and there is one that stands out above all.
my configuration: android 7.2.1 rom pure fusion, native resolution of 1080 * 1920, activated forcing gpu 2d, activated MSAA X4 and finally in battery I removed optimize application.
in pubg I configured it in minimum resolution and maximum fps.
in this way pubg mobile finciona without fps or lag drops.
PS: Pubg + recording screen no problem. discord + pubg no problem. discord + pubg + record screen no problem.
most of the roms I tried were 7.xxx and also probe 8.xxx in leedroid, rom stok, hd and all had a poor performance
as second place I would leave leedroid nougat, since it had lag drops or pulls ... in the configuration in aroma in the kernel I think it was the butterfly option that was good + the same configuration mentioned above. in this rom do not probe pubg + discord + recording.

Its the problem with the HTC stock software. The most you can do is try HTC Boost Plus which helps to boost the game by lowering the resolution to 1080P but dont expect too much. I faced such issues as well while playing at an unbearable 10fps. After using a custom rom Pure Fusion OS, the game runs smoothly, even when hot on medium settings, i didnt need to tweak any settings at all and it was playing at the full resolution of 1440p
Do note that if you wish to install a custom rom, u may face issues with the home button/finger scanner which does not work at all

It is true that it heats up but not so much when using this config since the resolution is lowered. but when playing in hd it gets quite warm at 70 ° c / 160 ° f app but still runs very well, you only notice when you go in a vehicle. it's good that you say what version of android you have, if you are soff or something and that I can go from nougat to oreo and oreo to nougat without losing features ... but in pure fusion I have no problems with internal cell phone deaths

I'm using leedroid Android 8 rom.native resolution of 1080 * 1920, activated forcing gpu 2d, activated MSAA X4 i also try these too but only playble in frame rate smooth and lowest graphics setting but it's only 20-25 frame rate..

turn off msaa probably you can better performance

U are right man i m running stock firmware android O and say wht i cant play freaking game its snapdragon 820 and adreno 530 have some respect man even mediatek guys playing it on high specs please help .. or is htc 10 really crap? Coz game works fine on other devices with same specs

Reason I dont use stock Roms is the lack of performance. I'm using resurrection remix 7.1.2 with elite kernel. I get pretty good performance on high setting.

What do you mean, if the zip works? I installed version 7.1.2 on my HTC and it works perfectly. If you are installing this ROM and you are using Android Oreo, you will first need to downgrade firmware to android Nougat

Question Games looks in bad resolution (F3)

Hi guys! I have the Poco F3 with MIUI 12.5.1 (Global) that I bought a week ago, the mobile works well in everything (although it could be better surely) but I am having a bad taste because games like PUBG Mobile or COD when running they look like in poor resolution as if the screen is of poor quality.
However, when I swipe from the edge of the screen to open the nav bar or to check the click, the game starts to look normal (as it should) but only lasts for a few moments. I already make a data and factory reset and set everything possible in Game Turbo, including mod the DPI with developer options and nothing.

I suppose you set the settings of these games in high quality?
