Okay, I don't know about Xiaomi's update system, but if you don't have that available, you can download Indian rom version or switch to custom rom...

Absolutely none have worked for me on TMobile; and I've tried pretty much every rom 8.1, 9, 10 even miui. It may need a magisk module or carrier approval.

I only try with pie roms, but none have the option to activate wifi calls.
My carrier is Orange Spain.
I'll look for a way to get it.

Add this line on build.prop:

persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1
It will shows the option for WiFi calling, but i don't know if it really works, my carrier doesn't support that so can't even test.

Thanks for answering. This line enables the wifi calls options correctly.
I'll test if this solution works and reply to this post.
Added the line to system/build.prop, not work.
Looking for a solution.
Some Q roms added vowifi support, but only for an Indian carriers. I don't know what's the difference with other global carriers.

Which carrier?
From your profile info, Airtel does not support VoLTE. Only Jio suports VoLTE in India

Check different jio sim..is it work?? Or check *#*#4636#*#* then turn on volte provisioned...or check it on sim 2 is it work or not...sorry for bad English...

I got a new Jio sim and internet works fine,no volte and calls

Some Jio sims seem to have issues. As per the changelog of the latest OOS, issues with Jio sims have been solved. Try the latest update.

Mee too faced the same problem in olmost ol custom roms. Then tried latest OOS 4.1.5. Volte wrks fine.

Hello I cant use Volte on Lineage OS,
I tried changing moded and firmware from Here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/radio-modem-collection-flashable-zips-t3468628 and installed 4.1.7 and Open Beta 23 and Im currently on Open Beta 23
I have selected Enhanced 4G LTE mode on and yet I cant use VOLTE, I have to use Jio app.

It's coz Jio, They are the newest and soon to be the biggest mobile service provider in India, Their rates are lowest for calls and data, Its a full time 4G network, Calls works over VoLTE so if no VoLTE no calls, Hence members here from India ask for VoLTE.

For me VoLTE worked on almost every rom here on XDA, Though I'm using 3T. Did u tried to make a call or just look3d for the VoLTE icon in the status bar asking as some roms do not show the sign but the VoLTE works.

It doesn't work at all, whenever I try to make a call, it automatically ends call and redirects to contacts. And there is no icon for VoLTE on phone.

Try this dial *#*#4636#*#* Go to phone information and toggle VoLTE provision off/on.
If the above does not work flash the latest stock/OB and see if it's works if yes then flash lineage OS.

I installed OB and VoLTE was working. Then I flashed lineage OS. it stopped working again,
I also tried flashing RR and AOSPA, same problem, VoLTE is working on only official builds.
I flashed builds as you said, On OB and stock is supporting VoLTE, I also tried other roms like RR and AOSPA all the non official ROMS are not supporting VoLTE.

You may add following lines on your build.prop to enable volte.I have s5 g900f and using linageos15.1.
Volte is working for me.before adding this line,my data won't work when call is active.now both works together.

Yes it should work i guess, the phone information attached shows as video calling provisioned.. i have not tried making a video call though

it depends if your area supports volte.
like airtel chennai has volte but my sim and area does not support volte , so either try changing your sim to 128kb sim and see , else check if your area supports volte.

I live in Bangalore and Airtel volte works here!
I have a 4g sim as well but Airtel volte isn't working?!!
I think it does not, my friend had xiaomi redmi note 5 pro and it shows volte on airtel but not mine(even on stock ROM)

yes, our phone supports volte if youre on zui 3.5 firmware. also, your area matters.

Yes, previously I was on zui 2.5 and volte was not working for me on Airtel. But I flashed zui 3.5 for some firmware related issues and as a bonus Airtel volte started to work for me! Also, I'm pretty much sure that Airtel has taken down volte in New Delhi, cuz my whole family is on Airtel and there's no volte for them!

Edit: This volte thing happened in M.P. Also, make sure to flash 3.5 through qfil. Use "Tool all in one" to make the process easy

I would like to quote that now it depends on which rom are u running, coz treble does not support Volte whereas only some non treble roms support volte

Not true! I was using pixel experience 8.1 Oreo ROM. It supports volte and Airtel volte was working!

I don't specifically know about "Airtel" volte but on the rebased builds "volte" works , so make sure you are using the latest build

I am pretty sure that's the problem. The phone is somewhat locked for Indian carriers. I remember the box contained a warning saying that you need to make calls for 10 mins with an Indian sim before you use it with anything else.
