Hoping somebody can help please
Got a Samsung galaxy watch active 2
I used to have a constant notification on my lockscreen and pull down menu. It was from the wear app I think.
It's now gone and I can't get it back. Any ideas please?
I liked having that because when using my phone it shows if the watch is connected or not
Go to app settings and enable notifications for said app. I believe it should be "silent".

So it shows me when I'm disconnected but not when I'm connected?

The day before I noticed I had a weather notification in my notification tray that looked amazing. I'm assuming it was stock since I have no weather apps or widgets installed but now the notification is gone. Does anyone know why or when it shows up or how to get it back?

This is apart of Google now.
Edit: In order for it to reappear you have to turn Google now off and then on. I believe since this is a alpha build everything is not worked out so Google now is not fully functional

It is presumably supposed to open up the weather app for you when weather changes or you move to a different location with different weather. I don't think you can make it a persistent notification.
further info on this issue
I had the same issue/question - this is the only thread I found in a day of searching. The stop-Google-Now-restart method didn't immediately work. Looking under Google Now settings in the weather settings there is a notifications toggle that was set to off. The other option is "low priority". Toggling Google Now off-on alone without this switched will not work.
turn off and on

after i turned my google now off i can't turn it back on... its gone from settings :/
then i deleted data for google search and google now was turned on again but still no weather card...
As the title says, my choice to let the phone sleep while charging won't stick. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
My phone is stock rooted and I can't seem to find an app that is causing the setting to change.

I figured it out. It was the recent update to extended controls.

Hi s9ortner, did you manage to discover a workaround? I have the same issue, and agree its very annoying!

This has been bugging me for weeks.
With your info, I made a toggle for the "Stay Awake" option. Now it seems to stay off through a reboot.
Thanks!

So I recently had to reinstall JB because I was getting inaccurate storage space reporting & now I can't remember how to get Google Now to display the weather card in the notification drop down. TIA for any solutions.

You have to turn off Google Now, then turn it back on.. and it will display. Guess it still has some minor issues to be worked out :S
Heck yeah!!! Thx!

Go into Google Now > Settings > "Google Now" tab > hit the little "on" switch in the top right corner and confirm to turn it off.
Nice, THANKS, Same thing happened to me and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't there anymore.
Love the moto 360 and super happy with it, though there's one thing I've always wanted to do with it and i haven't seen it posted anywhere.
I'd like to be able to receive a notification to my watch and have the screen NOT wake but still receive both the notification (To view when i'm ready) and the vibration (To know i have a notification).
There has to be a way to do this. Can anyone help?

I got Lightflow to vibrate..but how do you keep the card? The only solution I found was to turn block the notification for the app (in my case Textra) and turn on the vibrate in Lightflow. It would be nice to have the vibrate and card but without the screen on.
I installed lightflow but I don't understand how I'm supposed to use it? I too would be interested in some way to get notifications that are a little more private. Can someone walk me through the steps to set up gmail as an example so I get some sort of notification on the watch without the watch screen coming on? Or a way to get notifications without the subject or content showing up until I am ready to check it?

hello everyone,
i have my galaxy watch active 2 and i'm really happy with it ,but i have found that i can't see any notification from any cloned application like whatsapp or Messenger ( like if am using 2 whatsapp in my phone one is original and the other is cloned ) even if i enabled the notification to phone clone app through the galaxy wear app .
any help guys...
thanks in advance
If you have do not disturb on your phone, the notifications will not show up turn off DND and check the setting in the Samsung Wear app to silence notifications on your phone when your watch is attached.
