My device Xiaomi Mi A1 original battery capacity is 3080mAh, it shows only 2000mAh in MIUI roms. How can I change this value
Is that battery new?

Yes, it's a new battery, but I don't think the problem is because the battery is old or new. When I installed this MIUI ROM in the old battery, the battery capacity value was 2000 mAh. Other custom ROMs and stock ROMs show a normal value of 3080 mAh. How do I change this value?

Well, I'm not so related to that, but try to check with a kernel manager, there should be a setting related to battery inside build.prop
Also, try to report that as a problem directly to ROMs thread.

The problem is in the framework-res.apk file. When I extract the Framework-res.apk file, the value is written as 2000 mAh in the power_profile.xml file. This value is 3080 mAh and when I recompile the file, it automatically restarts when I replace it with the file on the system. But it remains on the boot screen.

What to do with a new biiger battery 2900mAh instead of 1500mAh must i recalibrate the baytery syats to get max out of my battery?
Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda app-developers app
0. photo it from all sides, especially new back cover and post here!
1. first couple of cycles 0-100%
2. use an app from 'mugen power' in store, it supports several different batteries
Are chinese batteries like this one legit?

Hi guys,
Im in search of ways of improving the battery life of my Xperia S. and now I have an Idea, but dont actually know if it will work properly.
so here is my idea. what if I use a standard Xperia Z battery which has 2330mah in place of BA800? here's the pic of both batteries.

looking at these two pictures, you will say, they mount to the phones differently, and the size are different anyway. but, what if the xperia Z battery is smaller than BA800 and can get in in the battery slot of the Xperia S(even though not perfect)? if it does and be able to get in, connecting the leads may not be that hard to do, I think.
anyway, my question is, if I use a higher capacity battery, will it be safe? will the charging capacity that the motherboard has be able to support the requirement of the battery?
xs supports the 1750nmah battery that is in there, you may have to create a custom kernel because of sutch
no point changing your battery
i get 3 days of life out of my battery
extended battery enablefu
remove battrry killing app
remove useless apps
undervolted cpu
you can try it at your own risk,
what if the kernel does not support it? will it not work or it will just read it as 1750mah?
Things to concider
Size
Shape
Voltage
Power output
MAH
It may work, problem being it may destroy your xs if the votage ans power output is higher
If it works it will show 2300mah, xs can read a batterys actual mah
Sent from my LT26i using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
im not sure with the power output, but voltage are the same 3.7v
Oh wait, power output doesent matter, soz i think i wasnt thinking when i posted that
Anyway im quite sure 1750mah is the biggest that will fit in a xs
Hi, i'm looking to modify the battery icon become circle type or other type.
Is there anyway to modify for Mi Max Helium / Hydrogen model?
Example:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Or other option:
Can I just show the battery percentage while hidden the battery icon bar?
By default, there is option to show up percentage but the icon bar still there.

You can probably take apart any theme file and change the battery png's to the ones you want.

oh, interesting. But I do not see anyone share any theme file related to the battery icon yet and I may need more detail of the guide on how to do this...
Anyone can show me the way?

I have recently purchased the GT Master Edition and I am doing very well. I noticed that Google Photos consumes a lot of battery, about 5%. I tried to check in the settings but the automatic start cannot be disabled, does anyone have the same problem as me or know how to fix it?

@Pippo_02
HELLO !!!!!!
I too have the same battery drain problem.
Download this app and see the "real capacity" of your battery !
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery&hl=fr
My phone is new and I realized that I was at 45% of its real capacity !
And my phone is 100% charged
Maybe a problem with the C.06 update
The Realme has 2 batteries, so I couldn't tell you !
I think yours is a software problem. My problem is not that the battery does not last long, it is that Google photo consumes too much battery, it had even consumed 15% on 100% recharging. I solved by uninstalling it, but I would like to have it because I used it to look at photos instead of the stock app ...
@Pippo_02
If you solved the problem, great !
Otherwise, if one day you have a similar problem, in the application you have an awesome tool that shows you the discharge speed for each application, in percentage and in mA !

In the realmeUI these features are already present, without the need for third-party apps
Hello, I'm a newbie and have been using a Redmi Note 8 Pro as my main phone. I have always experienced battery drain because of "Android System" and after reading on this forum thread I decided to use the command "adb shell top" to look at what process was actually using the CPU a lot and hogging the battery. I found out that when the phone is on with screen on (not stand-by) there is a process "[email protected]" which uses around 20-25% of the CPU. When the device is off instead there are only the various app processes which don't consume much CPU (even tho I see battery drain when I also don't use the phone).
Screenshot of what adb says when device is with screen on:

Is there a way to fix the mediatek process from draining battery? Thanks in advance, I can provide more information if you want

i don't have that app tho

i didn't do a factory reset, it is updated to the latest version and the region of the phone itself is EU while in settings it's set to italy as it's where I live
is it a low percentage. either way, my guess is that process is vital for your system and for your phone. sure, you could try to find a way to lower it, but it could result in system instability.
