Hello. I you can see I'm new to the forums and I'm also new to my LG G4, which happens to be the Taiwanese variant of the H815. I love the phone so far, but I'm a bit bummed that the bootloader can't be unlocked on this model. So I have two questions about this.
If I were to flash the EU Open VDZ, could I unlock my bootloader then?
A lot of the settings are geared towards Chinese/Taiwanese markets. Is there a US H815 stock firmware, or should I use a European version? And what number is the US H815 firmware version so I can go ahead and download it.

P.S. A U.S. firmware should fix most things for me, correct?
Each region/variant has different firmware numbers.
IE 10c TWN/SEA is the "same version" as 10E of Open EUR which is higher than which is the same as 10F of the 815T which is a higher version than 10G of some non open EUR phones...
You can install the Open EUR KDZ on the TWN version, but it will not enable to unlock your boot loader, the LG unlocked website checks IMEI and unique hardware ID to determine eligibility. You may be able to flash the US H815 but I'm not sure.

Thanks. I'm guessing there's really no point of flashing a new ROM then. Do you know the USA H815 firmware number?
Hey does anyone has the European version of the LG G4 (815) working with Wind Or Mobilicity? The reason why I'm asking because the Euro version has the FM chip enabled and it has more features than the Canadian/U.S version.

I have LG G4 dual H818P (CIS region). Can i flash KDZ of same model (H818P) but other region? This is for the reason that i want to flash marshmallow when ever it comes for H818P in any region.

Do you have just tried to CrossFlash KDZ on other variant ?
Sure you need to a custom DLL cooked
You probably don't need a custom DLL, so long as you have one which allows your phone to be seen by LG UP.
As the hardware seems to be the same on all variants of the G7, maybe with the exception of some CMDA specific variants (someone please correct me if I'm wrong here); the cross flashing should work perfectly.

if i'm not wrong actually to crossflash on LG V30 variants you need of patched LGUP and patched V30 DLL

I've cross-flashed my V30DS with various different firmwares (H930 / H930DS versions) without the patched LGUP or patched DLL.
I seem to remember the initial reason for the patched app & dll was to get round not having a "real" V30 DLL
so how do i cross flash i tried to flash a different kdz on my sprint thin q g7, i tried euro frimware but got stopped by lg up says invaild kdz for this model or something like that

Have the problem that the program terminates at 11 percent and the error 0x2000 comes. I have a European variant. I've just loaded the right firnware for mine. I do not know how to continue
So, can we flash a rom with dual sim support and use dual sim? The LG G7's sim tray is ready for dual sim.
Just flashed a G7 from AUS to SEA. Was successful, although as the available LM-G710 KDZs are for the 128GB variant (EAW) not the 64GB variant (EMW), it forced a data wipe.
Used the same LGUP Oreo DLL as V30.

Nope it would still have to be done through LG's website and it still detects its a G710TM at least that's what happened with the sprint version (people have managed to cross flash the sprint version if I'm not mistaken and this is what happened)
