Always on display is constantly in landscape mode. How do I change it to portrait mode? Settings from notification panel are not helping (Samsung Note 10+).
Thanks.
On Android 10 it's:
Settings > Lock Screen > Always On Display > Rotate screen to (Set to Portrait)

I just noticed my buttons aren't lighting up anymore :/
Mine stay on whenever charging and at all brightness levels... the only way they'll go off is if I put the phone to sleep (click power button).
Anyone know the setting location? I have Cyanogen & ADW launcher. I've seen it before but it's been so long I forgot where they were and can't find them.

Menu > Settings > CM Settings > Display > Automatic Backlight > Edit other levels
Lower / Upper = readings from the light sensor
Screen = the screen brightness you want based on the lower/upper light sensor values
Buttons = whether or not you want the softkeys on. Unfortunately, they cannot be dimmed (hardware limitations, from what I've read), so 255=on and 0=off
In the default configuration, for example, if the sensor value is 0-199, the screen will be set to brightness 25 and the softkeys will be turned on. If the sensor value is >399, notice that the softkeys turn off (button value changes to 0). If you want the buttons on all the time, set all button values as 255. If you're like me, and you hate the softkey lights, set all button values to 0.
THANK YOU! Exactly what I was looking for and clearly explained!
I'm still not allowed to post at the CM11 thread so I'm creating a new thread ...
I use my note 8 in landscape mode normally. I disabled the screen rotation in landsacape mode.
When the device gets locked and I turn it on the following happens:
the lock screen appears in landscape mode
(I start typing my PIN)
the lockscreen rotates to portrait mode automatically after one or two seconds (because this seems to be the default orientation for that tablet now)
(I turn my tablet and enter my PIN again)
the tablet gets unlocked and the screen rotates back to landscape mode since I locked the auto rotation in landscape mode
My question: how can I change the default rotation to the landscape mode again (like it was in the first nightlies of sbrissen, before they came official)
Or can I set the lockscreen to follow my screen orientation lock?
I know, I could enable the auto rotation to have my lockscreen in landscape mode, but I need the rotation lock when reading at bed
best regard

There are rotation fix commits in latest nightlies, did they resolve your issue?
I am a blackjack dealer so my wrist is always moving and activating the back light. I only want to keep it in dimmed mode unless I tap on screen. Is there an option for it? I can't figure it out.
Disable Tile-To-Wake. The setting can be found in Android Wear app > Settings (gear icon) > SmartWatch 3 > Tilt to wake screen.
Or double press the side button for theater mode.
I am new to android wear and just got my SW3 but there are a few things I'd like to configure on my watch but I just cannot find the appropriate settings. Is there anyway to achieve the following?
Disable the automatic exit from ambient mode
Disable touch screen to exit ambient (go button only?)
set deifferent actions for button press
set a "sub" ambient mode
The last one there probably needs an explanation, I have a number of watch faces that present entirely different faces when in ambient mode and will not show them when active. What i'd really like is to be able to see these ambient screens with the back light and colouring.
is there any way to keep on the ambient mode always on ??
via Android Wear app
