hi forum,
i buy an android car stereo for my fiesta mk7, (http://k1.kingbeats.cn/).
but, it was sent to me with 2012 version cables(24 pin black connector) and can bus interface, mine is a 2010 version (14 pin gray connector).
I tried to install it anyway, but obviously it does not interface with the car, precisely the central console does not work, it does not display the canbus information (doors open etc ...)
I tried in the menu to change the canbus profile on fiesta 2009 or fiesta 2012; but it doesn't work in either case.
No assistance is provided to me by the seller, the canbus interface present is a hiworld fiesta 12> 17.
I searched for this brand on google, along with other supported brands like "raise rzc" simple soft xp. but i can't find any store who sell them. can you give me, same advice to find a proper canbus interface
Have you tried buying a 24pin connector to 14pin connector converter? Do you have any pictures of the connector?

The problem isn't the connector on the stereo because i have a diagram. The real problem Is on the canbus decoder, wich doesnt interface with the car, i think It Is For a different year of car

2nd try: are there any mini-USB to 3.5mm adapters that incl MIC signal?
1. I have a T-Mobile WING
2. I want to use the Etymotic "hf2" headset with my WING. It's much higher quality than the HTC headset supplied with the WING.
3. But the "hf2" only has 3.5mm connector.
4. I'm looking for an adapter that carries the whole set of wire-connections, just like the HTC supplied headset.
This looks like the closest thing.
http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=15783&cat=2338
But so far I cannot find the adapter I need.
anyone here in the same boat?
I think that this:

Is exactly what you need.
wow, the beauty of XDA forums!
Thank you! That's a new HTC accessory ... they finally made it for the G1... but it looks like it should work for the WING.. Thank you so much!

BB, thanks very much for the link to parts for WING. I had found each of those adapters a few months back. The issue was that none of those that you listed carried the mic signal from newer hi-fidelity earsets/ headsets combination headphones.
The 3-way that you showed allowed:
* sync
* charging
* listening to music
but it does not handle incoming audio from external mic.
The new item which was posted above, that HTC made for the G1 phone, is the first adapter to solve that problem.

What kind of cable
Hello,
What kind of cable are you using exactly? is there any picture or link to buy one online?
Thank you
Same question.
where can we buy this cable?
It's a Nokia N95-96-97 video out cable (CA-75U), I bought one for £1.94 delivered off eBay.
Bear in mind it's composite (not Component), so the picture quality up close is pretty bad, and there's some noticable lag, so using it for gaming isn't ideal.
CA-75U cables
Ok, I think I can find that kind of cable, but they are pretty expensive new around 33 Frs

Just received my component cable, will be giving this a go tonite a very nice feature to have!!
I'm getting tearing when things move around alot on the screen, watching videos is very annoying because of this. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about. I talked to Samsung about it last week and they got the same problem with their handset/TV, so they sent the issue to the techs. Hopefully it can be resolved by a firmware update.
couldnt get a picture, i could faintly hear the movie i had playing, but picture was too fuzzy. Maybe the cable I got was bad quality, will have a go with the nokia cable.
Is there any device that allow us to connect HTC One by bluetooth in the car ?
There are quite a lot actually. You just have to look around. It depends though. Obviously you'll need to have an aux input in your car stereo or just pick up a stereo with bluetooth. If you have an aux input, here's the official htc adapter, otherwise search on amazon/ebay for something similar.

Yeah that's exactly what i was looking for thanks for your help !
HTC Stereoclip is damn good,about 50$ at MicroAge and Go Mobile (new Lebanese dealer)
If you don't have a 3.5mm jack in your car you can try this one it will transmit a FM signal but it also has a 3.5 jack too. This one looks like it has a lot more features and has over 3000 Amazon reviews at 4.5 stars.

Hey all! Love the forum, especially all of the people helping others out in a professional and timely manner.
So, I have an older Android 5.1.1 unit made by Eonon for my BMW E39 (2003 530i) and my goal is to install a rear passenger control system, similar to what modern luxury cars have today (where the rear passenger has control over JUST the media functions of the headunit). Ideally, it would be awesome if I could attach a small LCD monitor in the armrest that's capacitive touch that ONLY has a display for the radio controls (no matter what the front headunit is displaying), but I do not think that is possible.
I was thinking of installing a small 4" - 5" monitor in the rear armrest that duplicates the front headunit output (just connect it to one of the video out lines?) and add a bluetooth controller in the back as well? Would this work and what monitors and media controllers would you guys recommend? Most of the controllers I've seen are cheaply made or are just remote controllers that look really tacky in the back of a car. Ideally, I'm thinking of something along the lines of the Parrot Asteroid Mini controller.

Does something like that exist for controlling Android Headunits? I believe that the Parrot contoller is propriety to Parrot systems. I'm assuming with my older headunit that you can't simply install a capacitive screen that controls the headunit from the rear (I guess this would be more ideal).
Finally, is there a way for me to update the Eonon 5.1.1 Android unit? Since it's tailored for my BMW somewhat, I don't think that's easily done, but just thought to ask.
Thank you all!
Hi. I recently purchased car with windows CE head unit in it. Unfortunately owner doesn't know pin code and he don't have manual from head unit. Do you know what is possible pin code for this to access settings in this head unit?

This head unit looks exactly the same to what I have. I can connect and use head unit but I will need pin code in the future. By the way I would like to change the way it shows when door opens in my car. When I open driver's door it showing I opened passenger door and vise versa. To change that I guess I need to access settings or developer mode? If anyone can help me with this would be great. Thanks

I tried all listed pin codes to access settings or developers mode or even change logo non of them worked. I don't know what to do. Anyone have similar head unit and might be have handbook or manual with pass codes?
