need gcam for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 global

hi all
i need gcam for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 global with miui 9.5.17
i try all gcam and i get black screen with front portrait mod or normal mod
any help ?

That's because the Global RN5 does not have fully working GCam as of yet (Front HDR+ and portrait mode not working), but the RN5Pro (Indian) has got it working (though it's only 5mp in theirs).
However this question has been answered too many times already, you just failed at basic steps on XDA forums, search and read.

I can not activate it either, it's like I did not detect the api2, I used the magisk zip and modified the build manually and neither

i cant find the line HAL3 on build prop. i downloaded a camera2api on magisk but didnt work. so can someonw tell us the right magisk module to use.?

how to feature request to miui china??

As we all know that gcam is by far the best camera including a lot more features than the stock miui camera, I want to request miui developers to add gcam support to our device. I want camera2api by default in our whyred.

Do you have the miui feedback app? You could submit the suggestion there or post on the official miui forum.

Is there any way to get 48mp camera working in Android 12 custom rom on poco f3/k40 device it's not working on both anx and gcam. There has to be a way! Can anyone help.

Have you tried the new fw 13.3.03 or whatever it is? I have the anx camera magisk module working on Evox rom and cherish OS but my wifi didn't work on cherish OS so I'm on Evox rom now again.

Are you using poco f3 is the 48mp working? For me 48 mp not showing in anx camera on my ancient os Android 12
