Hey all,
I tried using Google to find a working Pixel camera APK port but every-time I use one for the Note10+ I find it installs but won't work fully. Out of all the ones I have used the portrait mode does not work. It will pull up but will not allow me to take photos. I press the button but it won't save any photos. Does anyone have any working Google Pixel camera ports they have tested that are working on their Note10+ for Snapdragon model?

Has anyone figured out how to make it work Google portrait mode for z2 plus with Pixel Experience ROM installed?
I tried multiple APK but still portrait alone is not working on both cameras.
How I did on Pixel Exp. Rom

***Make sure to uninstall the stock camera installed with the rom by deleting the apk file located at the root of your phone. You can use root explorer app, the one to be deleted is located at system/app/GoogleCamera. Then reboot and it will be uninstalled automatically then install the apk file I linked. Then use the following settings:
Model: Pixel 2
Config Camera HDR+ : Pixel 2017 ZSL hdr+
(Under advanced settings):
Hdr + control: on
Hdr + pramaeters: default
Use zsl: on
Final jpg quality hdr+: 100%
Compress .dng: on

Do you know how to speed up the camera app and may be alternate options ?
Its slow because of the processing of HDR +. If you want to make it quicker, just turn off the hdr + but would lead to low quality images.
This mod work on Pixel Experience?

I've had an S7 edge and loved its motion photos feature. Now I'm on an xperia xz and just can't wait to get a Pixel XL. I wanted to know from everyday users how is the Motion Photos experience on Pixel XL. As far as I've done my research, Motion Photos was officially supported on Pixel XL on google camera v5.0, however since 5.1 it is not anymore.
1) Do you guys use Motion Photos on Pixel XL?
2) Do you need to have an older version (5.0) in order of it to work?
3) Or do you use a modded version of Google Camera (like Camera NX) ?
4) Is it buggy?
5) Does it work flawlessly as if it were on Pixel 2?
No one here uses Motion Photos?

Today new ARCore update brings support for Samsung S9/S9+. So I decided to try it with modded GoogleCamera and ARStickers and it works like a charm. So I'm sharing this with you guys, maybe someone appreciates it. Tested by me on Galaxy S9 Exynos Stock Android 8.0 (G960F).

No hdr+ mode works for any gcam yet bc it tints dif color based on lighting for some reason.

But why when i to to the settings of the camera and i return to the camera , the screen is black and nothing work ?
Front camera can't work (just black screen) in google camera v7.. Anyone can help?

Loved it! Thanks a ton! Quick question though, are the sound effects supposed to get recorded in the video as well? I can hear them but it doesn't get recorded. Try the X-Wing sticker to see what I'm talking about. Otherwise it's perfect, thanks again!

My camera screen is going blank, it worked first time then whenever i open it is just black screen same happened after i cleared cache and data.

I guess not. I have other gcam version but all pictures I take are in f1.5

@lofas33 can you make it able to utilize S9's dual aperture? If you can, that would be really appreciated, and also slow motion mode and 4k video recording is broken, if you mind fixing that, that would also be appreciated

It's working for me on an A520F with S9+ ROM Port, with both video and photo modes. No portrait mode though. It gets magenta tinted when I take the photo. It's a really nice feature.

I tried MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1n_snap and it works well, only in 16: 9 mode instead of 9mp the images are 6mp. The second variant MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1zfix_snap supports full resolution in each mode, but you get a crash log in the download folder (although the camera works normally)
The rear (1.0) camera sensor is Samsung GM1 for AWB adjustment

Works on exynos also, exept for the 10x and bigger zoom so telescopic camera is useless.

I installed the 10/31/2021 release from BSG on my Note 20 Ultra - N986U1 (Snapdragon) on One UI 3.1 (Android 11) and it seems to work well.
Heck, it might be the most stable Google Camera Port I've used.
The front-facing camera doesn't work for pictures (thanks Samsung) but it does work for recording video.
Besides that, all the other modes I've briefly tested seem to work.

I believe there is a config file for samsung you need or a stting you have to change. I had the same problem when I installed it on my s21 ultra, the camera froze. Also the eraser feature was missing. I tried installing the google photos using Split APKs Installer but no luck. Would love to know if anyone using a samsung got these feature to work.
I've tried this on my Note 20 Ultra Exynos and have the same experience where the camera freezes and app closes, if anyone had any advice on how to fix or help I would really appreciate, this could be such a great camera app
This completely broke my camera for all apps.
Had to restart my phone several times to get the camera to work again.
Seems that it doesn't work for me. When I click the shoot button doesn't save anything. Shows some black pictures, which also can't be found in the gallery app.
This gcam has been working flawlessly for months on my Note 20 Ultra snapdragon. Takes sharper pictures overall than stock app, especially of my dog

Looks like better dynamic range, I have been using a previous GCAM version with great success (especially night time photography on a tripod), but I think I'll give this one a try. Thanks!

I've been using this GCAM version for awhile and it's stable and works fine on my Note 20 Ultra. Definitely takes better pictures indoors of my dog and a little better dynamic range. Nice alternative to stock camera app for some pix.

I also have a note 20 Ultra and I want to know if you're using an XML file so that I can use the other camera lenses let me know how to enable my telephoto in my wide angle?
