Hello everyone,
before all sorry for my english.
I wanna buy a Z1c but atm I found only a carrier branded version. There is a way to debrand? I really hate the branded software. European device.

Which country are you located? If you buy from Sony Mobile there wasn't any carrier and its Unlock. So, no branding at all. It just came with Sony preloaded software.
Otherwise, you could get it here and shipped to you.

Hi, Italy here. The Italians Carrier wil brand devices with the StartUp logo and some bookmarks.

Same issue for me.
I've ordered an Z1 Compact and I got a TIM branded device, now I need to understand if I should ask for a replacement or I can debrand without any risk.

You could flash an unbranded firmware to get rid of any software branding. Just make sure your device doesn't have a SIM lock or similar: dial *#*#7378423#*#* (*#*#service#*#*), then go to Service info, SIM lock.
Read (!! not just browse) the Resource Thread for further instructions.

you can delete brand software when you root z1c

[Q] AT&T N4 with simlock and custom rom?

Hi guys,
i've got an oportunity to buy a SGSN4. It comes from USA with the AT&T simlock. Is it possible to install a custom rom on this (i dont care about the warranty) with european language? Is it possible also to unlock this phone to use it in every network?

If its an AT&T variant then the answer is no you cant install a custom rom

Did you read my response in the other Note 4 forum?
No root, no custom roms, but CAN Sim unlock.
Edit: that wasnt supposed to sound so harsh. I was just asking if you read it....

This will sound stupid but do yourself a favor and sell it on ebay while used ones are still fetching good money and then buy an international korean model, no sim lock plus 6gb ram. I almost bought the tmobile one til i found out about the korean version.

He has some galaxy G960F/G965F and they are branded with a carrier Telstra Air and we would like a STOCK Rom to flash on phones to remove all traces of that Carrier info. Not looking for custom Rooted Rom, because he would like to be able to update the phones when a new software update comes out.
I have tried everything with NO Luck, and I'm sure one of your developers know how to do this. Please contact me private message if you already have this or would like to create it for me PLEASE, I will compensate$$$ you for your time. contact me so we can talk on skype or whatsapp. This is a Urgent Matter your Appreciation is More Than Welcome thank you!!!

What firmware are you on as far as I know tesltra air is just an app to automatically connect to free wi-fi on Telstra networks.
Are the phones network locked ie: can you put in another Sim from a different carrier like Optus or Vodafone.
What have you actually tried to do

what about this ?
G960FXXU2CSC8
(search on google and download it via sammobile , there is no bloatware and you can get the updates without a problem (with that one most of the time y get the security patch faster but you may loose some features)
or that G960FXXS3CSD2 it may take a few days more to get the update (based on my usage)

No the network is open I tried another sim from the USA: Tmobile, ATT, Verizon and Metropcs. Im on G960FXXU2CSC8 firmware version and I just upgrade to G960FOXM3CSD1.

Ok fellas I figured it out I follow the instructions from this thread:

and I was able to change the CSC to OXM then I flash a rom from United Arab Emirates and all carrier info was gone and phone works perfect. Special thanks to those guys from the thread it really works!! Thank you Thank you guys and for all who replied and where willing to help. Question UK Vodafone Volte

Hi all, phone purchased from Samsung rather than carrier- no Volte option, is it possible to flash carrier firmware thru Odin? for this to work? would appreciate any info chaps,
