I am facing an issue in receiving sms on my new phone with Jio sim cards in India..
Tried all trouble shooting methods nothing worked. Any one got any solution??

and this problem in all phones in egypt

when i activate internet/data conection on my first sim, the second is still available. the other sim will only deactivated (or paused / standby) when you have a call on the other sim. I#m using m dual in austria with austria and german sim.

Simply flash India' s latest firmware if u use the mob In english Language.
The problem will be solved.

we can't overcome this by flashing the firmwares .just manually divert call when unavailable to other number .

Indian firmware supports dual standby to some extent.
Cuz when I use data or when I do sms the other sim is active.
This was not so in E Dual and Tipo Dual.
That Y I recommended to flash Imdian firmware.

Me also from india only sms sending or receiving then the other sim is active but for data the the sim will not work ..

But I do not face any such prblm at all.
I use vodafone on sim 1 for data and idea on sim 2 for sms.

For me some when using whatsapp or some thing the both sims work but when we downlosd some stuff only data sim will work
I use idea for data and bsnl for normal calls ...

Hii. Please sumone help me.. I recently purchased d Honor 8 pro from amazon.in. I m using Jio sim in slot 1 and idea sim in slot 2. The problem i m facing is I m not able to make calls on any jio number from my jio sim.. I m able to receive d call but from any jio number. I can call jio numbers from my sim 2. Wenever I place a call to jio number it quickly gets disconnected. It shows unable to connect. But d recipient gets my miss call. Please help.
+1. Same issue here in Delhi Jio. Got the phone today only. Had an issue with SIM earlier, got it replaced. But even after getting new SIM, things are just as you explained.
Might be worthwhile for us to reach out to Honor requesting to fix this in their software update ASAP.

I am not sure, but this might be the issue...
The sim which is set for Mobile Data by default becomes the Volte network & the other sim switches down to 2g/3g.
Now jio cannot work in 2g/3g mode because it's a 4g only network.
Make sure Jio sim is enabled for mobile data. Then set call and SMS preferences to Jio. And then make the call.

Hi purna.. Thanks fot d reply. But my default data sim is set to Jio. If i enable 4g for other sim den Jio network disappears. I figured out since only one sim can use 4g.. Jio has to b set using 4g
The strange thing is d call gets connected once in 30-40 retries. I dnt knw wat happens but soon again jio calls fails.
+1. Me too facing similar problems but only on few numbers. The call disconnects immediately and the person does get a missed call.
I am from Gujarat.
Contacted the Honor Support
they are looking into the issue and will provide iupdates on 25 26 and 27th. Hope this will solve the issue....

Bro they will not easily take it as a bug , So many members has to complain about it in CareChat ,
We got the Jio Volte Support like this for our Honor 8 , Go bulk complaints :good:

I do have the same problem with jio as far as sim is concerned i am using only 1 sim and whenever i'm trying to call it gets disconnected and the other person gets a missed call only. Please somebody help and i am dam sure there won't be any update from honor.

As I see, it looks that the problem is either from the software on honor 8 pro or from jio's side (from honor)
Jio calling is perfect
I got it on 22nd and calling jio to jio is working perfectly. No problem at all.

I have installed many Roms till now... But there's one issue... Z2 plus is Volte.. and im using jio sim... Its calling all other company sims properly... But I cant able to call another jio user... Another Jio user can call me ... But I cant... Plzz help me in this issue...

I m using jio as sim 1 and idea as sim 2. Both have 4g network and volte enabled. I m using sim 1 for internet. My problem is while call using idea, the internet not working. Since both sim having volte and the device having dual 4g function, why this is happening.?

Have you done any settings as I'm also having the same thing, however, I've no issue with that but just curious to know?
I use one sim card for calls and another for data on my mi10t pro. The problem is that the data connection disappearing while I'm on call. I've tried mani things- changed the places of the sim cards, activated dual 4G, and VoLte on both sims, tried to change different settings, but can't fix that... Is there any solution?

This only works on CN ROM which is the China miui this happened to me on the Poco f2 pro on global no data when on a call when u have 2 Sims but on China miui the data works

I tried most of the custom ROMs only one that works is CN ROM
I see... Really strange, if the device supports this option...
I'm on Lebara mobile which uses Vodafone. I'm only getting 4G, sporadically get H+ but not always. I have set my preferred network to LTE.
