As title says, is anyone using this in the U.S? (AT&T). The international version.
How is the reception. It doesn't have a lot of bands so maybe this is a bad idea?

Just wondering if the phone would support LTE in Roger's network in Canada with Tmo's baseband.

Out of the box it should support HSPA+ on Rogers if it is unlocked, however LTE is software locked, but I have heard of people flashing the Rogers/AT&T ROM onto their T889V and getting LTE. Hope that answers your question.
Hello all -
I have recently relocated to the UK from the US, and I have a US Galaxy S3 (ATT) which is rooted (running CM 10.2) and SIM-unlocked. I have no issues using this with 3G networks here (TMobile) but would it also work on EE's 4G LTE network if I upgraded my plan, or would I require a different model to get LTE here?
TIA
J
Do some research. If the carrier that you want to use uses the same lte frequencies, then it will work. If not, you're out of luck.

I did a lot of poking around, only to end up on Wikipedia looking up 4G frequencies. The answer is no...!

Don't know what country you're in. But the n5100 is the best variant for the US. The LTE in the 5120 isn't compatible with AT&T and it's missing the 1900 mhz used for HSPA.

I have an S5 active and it's time to get a new phone. I like the mods available for the d855 and was looking at getting an unlocked one off Amazon. I'm using straight talk (at&t), and like the att service coverage. I keep finding mixed answers, some say the 855 won't have 4g lte and others say it will. Can someone tell me for sure if the d855 will work? The d855 uses the same bands as my g870a, so I would think it would. Looking to order a phone today, so any input is appreciated. Thanks

I have no clue how to even find that out. I just want to find out if I can use a d855 and get 4g on att. The dev selection is a little better for the d855 over the AT&T d850.
