I have a Sim unlocked TMobile 7t. If I unlock the bootloader can I sideload software updates?? I'm on .04 and I know .07 was just released.

has anyone rooted and unlocked bootloader then got the 4.0.2 update? Also allied the update? If so does root & bootloader still work?
I updated to 4.0.2 then oem unlocked and rooted the device with out issue.
Easy root will always work on Nexus devices.

will always be there. It's a Nexus device, they encourage you to hack/modify your phone.

No, just grab the the ota from here,https://developers.google.com/android/ota and flash via fastboot. You will lose root and recovery, but there easy enough to redo. NEVER RELOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER!!!!!
Ok, Picked up my pixel yesterday from verizon and the sales guy updated the phone for me while he was setting it up. I'm on the NDE63x build already, will the sunshine method unlock work with that version?? (crosses fingers)
Once you unlock the bootloader, it will not re-lock taking updates. You have to manually lock it again.
When setting up my Pixel XL I messed up and accidentally took the OTA before attempting to unlock the bootloader. As such the dePixel8 said it failed. I am assuming this 7.1.1 NMF26O patched this exploit.
I am wondering if there is a new method to unlock the bootloader on NMF26O that I am unaware of? I assume if I downgrade back to Verizon NDE63X the bootloader hack will still be patched?
Am I screwed until someone comes out with a new hack to unlock the NMF26O bootloader?

im on last update ZVD my phone was unlock but lost the unlock thing duo the update, is there any way to unlock it, does ebay remote services unlock it permanently unlock the phone.

No they dont it seems as if each update is breaking the previous unlock
If i unlock ls992 after update ZVC, and now i will installed the new ZVD, my smartphone lost unlock? Who update to zvd?
