Hello everyone.
I am on Oxygen OS 10.0.6 ROM and I do not see any option to block calls from unknown numbers.
It is possible to block numbers well identified , but no option to block unknown callers.
I know there are third-party applications on the playstore, but with the OP7T's phone application is it possible to block unknown numbers?

i would also be interested and i didnt found a way. is there maybe a magisk module solution?
Install Google framework module from magisk then you can install Google Phone app and that can block calls from unknown callers. It works because I'm using it atm on my Oneplus 7T

So problem is the calling screen system don't have recording call, i want change another calling screen apps (asus calling screen) but it's not working, i'm install asus calling screeb and disable Phone app lineage but when i calling the phone don't show calling screen, still stay in contact pls help me, i need recording call.

Try using a standalone app for call recording, as it is more customizable than the dialer (format, quality, auto record, cloud connect etc)
In LineageOS is possibile to disable the default dialer app (com.android.dialer) and install another one, but if you do that you're not able anymore to see the calling screen: so you can't answer to incoming calls and you can't close ongoing calls. I tried to replace the stock dialer with Google dialer and I was in your same situation.
I don't know why this happens, but I noticed this problem also in Resurrection Remix OS, which comes from LineageOS. So it's not a particular bug, but a problem of the ROM itself. It would be interesting to know if this happens on other ROMs not Lineage-based, but I guess this problem don't arise. I didn't test this on other ROMs because I am on CM since version 7 (Gingerbread).
I'm planning to make another test, to entirely replace the stock app with a custom one as system app, but I need some time that now I don't have, maybe I can do this in the weekend. Obviously you need root, otherwise you have to use adb or flash a script or move files from the recovery (if your custom recovery lets you do that).
By the way I own a OnePlus 2 and all the ROMs I tested for this were based on LineageOS 14.1.

Hi friends, I have using z010d with lineage 14.1. I tried to change the default dialer with Asus dialer and contact. Its changed in default phone app. But when I am dialing any number then default system dialer appears. I have also inst all installed asus calling screen.
Please advise.
As title stated + nougat based rom with clean stock feel.
Wildcards mean like auto blocking unknown number not in contact, hidden number, 4 digit number auto block.
I remember got that feature in CM rom and missed it so much. I've tried the unofficial CM 14 but it's buggy.
Now i'm using stock oos . I've been using various call blocking apps and got so many headache. The non root version will likely to hang up the phone which is kinda rude, while the root version like RCB is not working, and root call and sms manager is buggy..
So I rooted my OnePlus 7T, to fix some issues I had with OOS...and it was great. I absolutely loved FDEAI, iOS emojis, swift installer, AdAway and I could go on.
But one stupid day, I installed a magisk module, that corrupted my EFS. I was really scared, since even tho I had a backup, I had trouble restroning it permanently. It got erased on every reboot.
This problem presists, I haven't found a fix. But I have a hypotesis, on what could be it's cause. I have uninstalled the module already, so that wasn't it. Only today, two weeks after the incident, I realized, that my SELinux policy was Premissive. I didn't change it intentionally, so it must have been the module that did it.
Here's where I ask for help tho : 1. How do I change SELinux to Enforcing again? I only could find tutorials on how to set it to permissive. 2. Could this be the cause of the issue? 3. If it can't be this, what do I do? I'm running OxygenOS 11, so I can't just flash a fastboot rom, nor use MSM to reset. (Both are A10 only) and I don't think downgrading with mods installed would be anything of a good idea. There's also no TWRP support as you know.

Then update to oos11 via oxygen updater app
As posted in other thread, i'm on latest crDroid (7.9) with Flamegapps full.
Pretty much everything working, except voice match "hey/ok google", whose activation is grayed out in google settings ("the function is not available on your device").
Searching the web, it seems that's a common problem for Android 11 custom roms, related to some file (hotword blobs) missing in the rom, device specific.

I'm no dev, so i don't really understand this stuff...but many people have my same problem here and on Telegram (the others simply doesn't use voice match, i guess), so i think it is good thing to report out this thing to developers, if this is the problem

The solution is making Google a system app, you can use a magisk module called systemize.

That was the issue, and yours is a good solution.
For me, the issue has been solved with the next Flamegapps release, some time later.
i confirm on android 13 crdroid rom app 2023, nikgapps, Google must be installed as system app to google assistant working ( "and not be grayed out in google settings)

Hello friends please help. I'm unable to watch showmax movies, because it keeps detecting root on my device (Redmi Note 8)
Tried using Magisk Hide for Showmax and also liboemcrypt magisk module but still same issue
It's easy for any app to detect whether Android is got rooted or Magisk got installed or device's bootloader got unlocked.
Wow wish I knew I wouldn't have purchased the subscription

Thank you for your help but have installed magisk canary, enabled zygisk + universal safetynet module. Enforce Deny list and configure deny list on all showmax package names and reboot but still get device rooted error. What could I be doing wrong

Have you tried "Hide the Magisk app" option in Magisk settings? (This is not the same as MagiskHide).
