Google Assistant answers on wrong device - Huawei Mate 20 X Questions & Answers

If I say "hey Google" on my Huawei Mate 20 x phone and ask it a question it answers. However, whenever I say "hey Google" on my Samsung Note 10+ it opens the window that says it is listening, but when I've asked my question it answers on my Samsung Galaxy Tab s5e. It is not as if the Galaxy Tab s5e hears me, because I can do this from two stories up in my house. It only answers on my Note 10+ if my Tab s5e is turned off. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so what is the work around?

[Q] Developer Request- Action shot mode in Camera

I've seen a couple threads in other forums but no one has really answered them. Action shot mode is pretty damn cool feature in my buddies Galaxy S2 and even the original Galaxy S phones. Why did Samsung leave this out of the S3 and Note 2? Is there any way to get this feature on any other Samsung phone?
Here's an example of what I'm talking about as an attachment

Odd, I keep seeing that shot listed as a feature, but I don't see it on the phone. I wonder if it's available on the international.

[Q] Talking Galaxy Tab s

Hey guys,
Just went to a major whse and bought the Galaxy Tab s. Looking over the specs I noticed it can mirror my Galaxy Note 3 via sidesync to send and receive calls. However one can't talk THROUGH the Tab s? I just talked to two live chat support and they said you can't. Both are bluetooth paired, sydsynced, both have microphones and speakers. All set up to be able to talk through the Tab s right? Nyet. no. Yet, my $80 dumb car stereo with bluetooth can and the sound comes through the speaker so why can't this whizz bang tablet? What am I doing wrong and missing?
Thanks for any hep.
I've searched google for w while now and I found ONE thread about downloading something onto my computer then onto the tablet after rooting but I'm not that technical. I'm three hours into the search and nothing. So either I'm asking the google the wrong question or a solution isn't there?
Yeah, call through secondary device, everybody wants, but AFAIK not solution around. Bummer.
I became so disappointed as you when I realized I couldn't speak and hear through tab when picking calls from note 3.
The solution we expect will require a BT phone in range with note 3. That is pretty redundant because tab has a BT phone built in as you said.
Sidesync is nice but is fresh and there is a lot of room for features and improvements on its next versions.
sydesinc for now acts just like a windows RDC and can't be used if you're tethering data from secondary device. it is nice but it's not enough.

Thanks guys just my luck. This is NOT what was advertised or rather a slick omittance and half truth in their advertisement. Even a gent from a major electronic magazine at the CES show stated after sydsyncing his phone "will be able to talk through the device and mirror your phone". Then went on to drag and drop a pic of his mirrored phone onto the Tab. I thought cool finally! So much for research.
It amazes me they went 9/10th of the way but thought it not useful to go that extra tenth to make it be a pass though device for calls.
Again, thank you for your answers.:good: Going back today to return it.

Sad to say that is the case. It does work with S5 however. Did you update your software? I am wondering if that would take care of it. Not sure why it would with S 5 and not Note.

So you confirm you can make a call on S5 (actually pressing it on tab) through sidesync and speak on the mic of te tab?
can we bridge calls through devices or not? I just could't figure how.

I was able to tether the entire call through my galaxy tab S via sidesync using my galaxy S4, however I can't tell if it works with my new Note 4. I called my partner while I was at home and they were at work, using sidesync, with my S4 in the next room on the charger, however I had it connected via wifi and bluetooth.
As far as i know,it only works with S5.
In a few days i have my Tab S 10.5 lte and that's the reason i will change my Note 3 into an S5.

HTC 10 Compatible with the Samsung Galaxy gear app ?

SO it's been awhile since i bought a new HTC but after finding out yesterday that T- Mobile will be releasing it on wednesday the 18th i was a happy camper , then i remembered that my Galaxy Gear S2 watch 4G is not compatable with my One plus X , So i figured i would call HTC Support and ask if the new phone will work with my new 4G watch
and i am sad to say that i was told it will not work , that it's not even a software issue but a hardware issue as well, was really looking forward to buying this Phone if anyone has any positive input it would be greatly appreciated . Thanks
Jim.....
My gear s2 is working perfect with my htc 10
My S2 and HTC 10 work but I can't get notifications on text messages or gmail or FB or been able to download Android Pay. Anything you would recommend?
I'm actually having issues getting my gear fit 2 paired
My Fitbit Surge will not pair with my HTC 10. Called Fitbit Tech support and told they're reviewing the issue.
Told to check back later. Called back a month later and told there's still no solution. Understand that the same issue affects the Samsung Galaxy S7. Anyone have recent information about this matter?

Had issues pairing a few Bluetooth devices. Guess the is the 10s wreak spot.
Called Fitbit Tech Support again today, Sept. 18th, and got the same answer as before.

I have my gear s2 paired just fine. Below is what I would suggest:
1) delete your gear s2 from Bluetooth settings on your phone and make sure the gear s2 is factory reset.
2) open play store and download Samsung Gear, Samsung accessory service, S health, and Gear Plugin.
3) open Samsung Gear and pair normally.
If you are missing any of those apps, it will not work properly.
Have no problems with my HTC10 and Samsung Gear Fit2 combo. Most important thing is to factory reset the gear before pairing!
Get the same performance and notifications as with my former daily the Note4
Every time I make a call or receive a call the watch takes over the call via Bluetooth. It's super annoying and can't seem to figure this out. Any ideas?

I experience the same problems. I wonder if someone has figured this out already?
Subsequently I experience the problem that my gear loses its bluetooth connection for approx. 5 seconds when my HTC 10 goes into standby. I wonder if there's a fix for this problem as well...

Samsung Gear S3

Hey all, I'm looking for some up to date info about the Samsung Gear S3 and our OP3.
Is it working alright? I searched the forums, but the S2 is mentionned, and on the Gear S3 XDA forums, I read that non Samsung phones don't offer things like email sync functionality, etc.
Any one of you have that watch? Let me know, I'm considering it (alongside the ZenWatch 3)
