Hi All,
This is my first Redmi (Xiaomi) with Miui11 update installed and my previous phone was an Android 4 device so i am not sure if my problem is connected with Android or Miui, but it is very irritating.
When i start a recording with a dashcam software (i tried opendashcam and Drive Recorder) the phone gives a very loud beep or even more a chime or jingle sound. Then as the program starts a new recording in every minute it gives the sound again. I tried everything i could to disable it but no success. I think this is some security feature to let me know the camera works in the background which is nice btw. but i would like to mute in this specific case. The standard camera software does not do this.
Have the same problem with road Guardians app from Google play
(sorry, as a new user not allowed to put link)
Spent hours on hours trying to remove the annoying beeps.
No matter what I try including turning off volume completely , put a plug in earphone port...
Can't get rid of this demon.
Xiaomi mi 9T pro
Pie /rooted with magisk
MIUI global 10.3.4
Any clue would be much appreciated

Hi guys, here is the problem that for some reason popped just recently, started maybe 2 weeks ago or so. I'm using Jay bird blue buds x as my main wireless headphones with my tab s. Everything was working fine but now whenever I connect the headphones and either start listening to music, music player or Google play music, or listen to a video clip, be it from YouTube, gallery or Google play video, the headphones cut out after 30-60 seconds. Now I did test the headphones with other tablet, an Asus one, and with my audio setup I use with my pc and I can use them without any problems for hours at a time. Which kinda led me to a conclusion that it's not the headphones but the tab itself. Now my question is, did anyone experience something similar? Any chance it's a Bluetooth driver mixup of some sorts that came with most recent tab update? Any help would be appreciated. I'm running complete stock with the most recent update, with just a couple of apps "turned off" in application section.
Jaybirds work with stock and skyhigh kernel.

Well, my Samsung HS3000 Bluetooth headphones work w/o a problem, but I just encountered an issue with a bluetooth gamepad I bought. It started to lag every 30s - 2 minutes for like 10 seconds and than worked normally again. On the Nexus 7 of my girlfriend it worked for hours w/o a problem. I ended up factory resetting and updating to a newer firmware only to find out (just now) that one of my apps with accessibility access is responsible, probably Tasker or some of its modules / plugins.
Since your issue sounds a bit similar, you might want to investigate in that direction.

Sounds like you might be right, tho I am not using Tasker atm. I'm thinking maybe it's one of the apps I turned off.
Today I downloaded a dB meter app from Play Store, and I wondered why it didn't work, then I found out that it wasn't the app's problem but the phone's.
I tried other apps from Play Store that use the mics including Recforge, Sound Recorder, etc but still no sound signal coming from the mics, and yes, calling doesn't work. (Using headphone/earphone with plug-in jack works.)
An interesting finding is that when I tested with Shazam, after I pressed the turning Shazam logo, it almost immediately told me that no song was found, it was like whenever the app detects dead silence in the first 1 sec, it just gave up listening any longer.
I was using BlissPop so I switched back to stock-based SuperZen, suspecting it is ROM related problem but still no luck, still dead silence
Then I even switched to Latest WW Official Stock, but when I get into the test menu via the calculator app and performed the two mic tests, both of them failed. (I'm sure that it is not the speaker's problem)
So, I wonder if I can safely say that the phone's microphones are hardware dead now, if it is true maybe I will be sending the phone to repairment later next week. Or is it possible that it is some deep level software problem that I'm not aware of?
I have doubt because all other components are working except the two mics, and I think it is pretty abnormal for two components at two different side(top and bottom) of the phone to hardware malfunction at the same time. (Also because of the Shazam app's behaviour)
Thank you.
(English is not my first language so please forgive me if I sound rude or awkward )
Hi, have you resolved the issue?
Hi comcraizer,
did you find a solution to this?
Thanks.

I also have a problem with mic in Skype only when using speaker phone, regular phone works fine with speaker phone. This happens only with the mm bootloader on every ROM, worked fine on lp bootloader with any ROM. Anybody else have this issue?
I have bought a second-hand Sony Xperia T3 and I have great problems.
After restart the handy is working normal. But after about 7-10 minutes the sound doesn’t work anymore. I see the audio player working but I have no sound via loudspeaker nor via headset. Even when I get a call I hear no ringtone and the handy vibrates about one minute longer though the call has already ended. The camera app also doesn’t work correct. Only after a restart the handy works again correct for about 7-10 minutes.
So I downloaded the original Sony Firmware and flasehd the Handy two times. But I have still these problems.
Does anyone has any ideas?
Now I’m thinking about flashing the handy with a custom ROM.
Because of all my problems with this Handy I probably want to Flash a Lollipop custom ROM. But it seems no Lollipop ROM is working so far for daily use, right? Is there any other custom ROM I could test?
Guys thank you for this awesome forum i have managed to root many devices and do a lot of great things with the few phones i had, this time however is different i have the D851 LG G3 T-Mobile and the phone does not playback any sound, ill be more specific :
* Any phone music application doesnt playback the music, the app just sits there and doesnt advance in the seconds counter
*The videos do playback but the audio is missing
*due to the missing audio the phone freezes when trying to make a call
*when attempting to record video it comes out as error and does nothing
* when trying to input voice commands it does nothing
* sometimes when trying to change the sound profile the menu freezes going from vibrate to normal sound
* no initial boot sound
Everything else that the phone does works fine like but to put it this way the phone feels just like when we have a pc and the sound card drivers are not installed or corrupted somehow, im not sure if its missing the audio codecs or maybe something else was modified in the system itself.
I already used LG flash tool to restore phone to 30d and im currently trying to restore phone to factory stock 10C
UPDATE 10C or 10R not possible to revert to, gonna try 20E
Update 20E boots up phone but still no sound at all , it is like its disabled
Please help!!!
Hate to bump such an old thread, but been searching high and low, did you happen to find a solution for yours? Have a G3 that does the exact same bit right to a T, tried reflashing Marshmallow, rolled it back to Lollipop with LGUP, runs perfectly fine, sound and all functions were great for a while, and one day it stopped. Plugging in headphones, I see the headphone icon in the status bar, so it recognizes them, but it won't record audio, play audio or do pretty much anything that involves sound.
you can try using viperfx, maybe you or a guest touched the phone and set everything to zero, try that dude. i hope you fixed the problem
No sound, freezes and closes all windows to lock out screen
Currently own an LG G3 D-851 T-mobile. I bought it used and everything seems to work out of the box.
Noticed that there isn't any sound
coming out of the device so tried playing around with the volume levels. The phone froze; went back to lock screen. Unresponsive. After which i had to do a factory restore:victory: and it worked flawlessly.
Was curious if this could be hardware problem so i took it to repair shop.
I was told that the problem lies in the memory (power ic) might be corrupted. Anyone might know how its related to having no sound or video recording capabilities? Plus why it crashes when trying out the sound recording.
Hey Guys,
everytime i connect my fire phone (slim kat) to a bluetooth speaker, i dont get any sound out of it.
What i tried so far:
-used multiple bluetooth devices (car; mobile speaker; tv sound bar) with no success. Everyone showed the same problem.
- removed all devices from the pairing list
- visible to all devices
- wiped cache
- tried spotify and poweramp
-moved from cm11 to slim kat: the problem was solved for like 15 min. The sound then suddenly stopped without me touching the display (no sound then, but the music player continued to play)
Any ideas? I uploaded a video showing the problem. all i get from the speaker is a silent buzz, which i tried to capture in the video at 01:20.
Also notice the weird volume button at 00:57...it switches from the normal audio speaker to the bluethooth speaker every time i change the volume.

I hope someone can help me.
I had a similar problem on stock, turned out to be my wearables apps. Microsoft Health and Pebble time, kept disconnecting me from everything else. May be completely unrelated, but worth a try. I uninstalled those apps and it started working fine.
Thanks for reply, but i dont have any wearable apps installed on the phone
Cmon guys, please help me. I know a lot of you guys are really into this topic...
