Hi,
I have HTC Voice Recorder activated on PTT button but it does not start recording while I keep pressing PTT button like it's doing with stock voice recorder. I have not press one of the action buttons to start recording. Anybody has any idea if it's possible to make it work like stock voice recoder?

(1) A long press on the headset button takes me to Google Now. I'd like it to take me to S-Voice instead for hands-free control of the phone. I can't find a setting for that. Does anyone know if one exists?
(2) When you use S-Voice to place a phone call, is there a way to have S-Voice ask for confirmation before dialing? Or else to cancel the dialing via a voice command?

To bring up s voice you have to double tap the middle button to open it. Not sure about your second questions I don't use s voice, I prefer google now over it.

What is the headset button? Does anyone know how to use s voice to set phone to silent?
Hello everyone
I've been struggling for a few hours now... to get my voice button on the headset to activate Google assistance.
At first it opened Svoice then i tried all sort of programs like Bluetooth launcher and Hint2Search, also checked out every possible options on the phone/google/plt hub (the plantronic app).
And the best result I've gotten so far is the launch of Google now (which is different from assistant)
So as you may have guessed, my question is how do I get google assistant on (same as when i hold my home button) when i hold my headset button.
[Samsung Galaxy S7 edge // Android 8.0.0]
Any help is very appreciated,
Have a good day

red button on boom
the way to activate Google Voice is by pressing the red button on the mic boom. Its not the button you use to answer calls. It is also the mute button.
I want to buy a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 for my wife who has an atomic watch that she loves because she can press a button and it talks to her telling her the time -- but it’s an ugly watch. I can only find information about how to talk to a Samsung Galaxy Watch4 using the Bixby app.
Therefore two questions:
1 - Can Bixby 'talk to you' using a Samsung Galaxy watch4?
2 – We’re getting old and a little hard of hearing -- so – how loud is it?
Gawd, I hope not...
It can... apparently.
Yes, Bixby can do exactly as you describe. It can be activated by voice or by button press. It can respond verbally, at an adjustable volume. I have no trouble hearing it. For example, I just said: "Hey, Bixby" (pause for a split second for the microphone image to appear on the watch face) "what will the weather be tomorrow?" The watch then announces the forecast that also appears on the screen.

We're old -- we don't use earbuds. We want to know if we can hear Bixby when we're driving in the car and want to know what time it is!
