When Android 10 custom rom will landed on Mix 3 ?

Anyone working on it ? I'm happy to test it
Waiting so long since AOSP is officially announced, and seeing other phone like Mix 2/2s Mi8 already got a custom rom made me sad

Those devices (most of them) have Beta ROMs from Xiaomi with updated drivers. That's why they have full 10 ROMs.

People are working on it, be patient.

Xiaomi released a timeline for MIUI 11 beta and global ROMs which can be found here.
TLDR; The Chinese beta ROM should be rolling out to the Mix 3 starting Sept 27th. The global ROM should be rolling out mid-October.

So..if our device has been confirmed to get Android 10, and MIUI 11 will still stick to Pie...when we will get it? When Android 11 will be avaible? Just saying..

Its simple. First we will get MIUI 11 based on Pie, later we will get update to newer Android still with MIUI 11.

MIUI's naming convention doesn't necessarily align with Android's. Hence why some devices running MIUI 11 are based off Pie while others are based off Android 10. Xiaomi will probably update MIUI 11 to Android 10 in future updates for the devices which aren't already.

I knew about MIUI acting differently from EMUI. But not updating OS makes almost no sense, because Mix 3 is a device with one year of life. Should have priority in major updates or am i wrong? Anyway, i think it should get at least 2 majors when time will come. Thanks for the answer

Did you wipe data before flashing it?, I flashed ir right away without knowing it was android 10 based and it is glitched as hell, with apps crashing and such.

I just updated from MIUI 10.3.2.0 global stable (android 9) to MIUI 11.1 Xiaomi.eu weekly beta (9.12.12 based on android 10) without any issues. I was rooted with TWRP installed on 10.3.2.0, here's what I did (this will wipe all your data so make backups beforehand):
Put Xiaomi.eu 9.12.12 on a USB-C flash drive (not necessary but a little easier than transferring it via cable)
Booted to TWRP
Wipe > Factory reset
Wipe > Format data (then typed 'yes' to confirm)
Wiped dalvik & cache
Went back to reboot options > booted to TWRP (recovery) again
Flashed 9.12.12 zip from flash drive
Wiped dalvik & cache
Booted to system. No app crashes or lag or anything
Also you can downgrade from the Xiaomi.eu android 10 ROMs. It's not super clear whether the Mix 3 has active anti-rollback or not (some sources say yes but plenty of people have been able to go back and forth without issue with an unlocked bootloader). I checked the ARB versions just to be safe and for 10.3.2.0 and 11.1 they are both 2 so there should be no issue downgrading with an unlocked bootloader.

Unfortunately the kernel they are referencing has to be for the 5G Mix 3. The perseus still only has a pie branch. I know a lot of people have been working on this, myself included. I got something to compile the other night, however it does not boot. I know there are smarter people than me working on this and I know how long it took to build a tree (with full kernel source) for the LG G3 when I was working on that device.
Edit: so poking around for the first time not on my phone, I found this: https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/dipper-q-oss
That tree is now tagged like it's for many devices - I think a n00b made that commit, cause that makes NO SENSE AT ALL.

As a normal user, i can't understand what language you are speaking lol, just seen that post on xda news and i though that's a great news.

i got v7.3 to work lagfree, on miui 12 eu stable, the patch "com. qti. chi. override. so" is supposed to be copied to vendor/lib/hw..instead of system/vendor/lib/hw (actually this directory doesn't exist in miui 12 eu stable), if you are using twrp to copy the file, remember to mount vendor first

Go to Settings>Aux cameras and enable wide angle lens. Then there should be a button in the viewfinder to switch lenses.

How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi Note 9 Pro Global [joyeuse]
We will release fastboot ROM versions until TWRP for joyeuse is released
TWRP is released now:
- Download ROM zip
- Install in TWRP
- Reboot
Steps to install our ROM for FIRST TIME from China ROM (All your data and files on internal storage will be deleted!)
- Unlock your bootloader by Mi Unlock tool https://en.miui.com/unlock/
- Download our ROM zip file xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.0.1.0.QJZMIXM_v12-10.zip
- Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC
- Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
- Connect to PC via USB cable
- Run fastboot installation script from unpacked zip according your PC operating system:
For Windows OS ./windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
For Linux ./linux_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.sh

Sorry, but you are factually incorrect!
The Redmi Note 9 Pro EU is NOT the same as the Curtana models! It is much closer the the Note 9 Pro MAX (Excaliber).

Don't worry.. flashing script has device check before flashing process.. also, users who doesn't know their device codename, should not be on XDA..

Glad it has a device check and yes I agree with you but the point is it's the equivalent of posting say for an example an exynos rom in a snapdragon thread for the same phone. There's already alot of confusion with this phone due to the many variations almost identically named and sellers incorrectly labelling the device they sell so this will likely confuse people more. Just a thought

Is the problem with file explorers and root still exists? ( Stock in fastboot )
Are apps like adaway,adfree, Titanium Backup,Lucky patcher will trigger the same problem?
Does safety net check passes in magisk?

I'm not sure if this update added bands for TMobile, etc, or if a new tower came up by where I live; since we had two hurricanes last year that really messed up some towers,etc ; but I've had significantly better network access, and just better overall.
Just thought I'd add, and I guess noone else sees in settings "started by app" instead of where it would normally say "settings"at the top of the settings menu..

I have never installed TWRP. Did you have TWRP installed and updated or you installed TWRP for the first time and it fixed it? I am on a OP8, but your post was the only one with the same issue.

Yes, to be honest, this time when the update came out, I flashed it in TWRP, to avoid having to go back to stock boot(for it to successfully flash in system upgrade/update), since I have magisk, TWRP, and Arter97 kernel installed. But yes, I had the unofficial TWRP, then after this update, I seen the official TWRP released, and after updating, it went back to normal.
By the way, it was like this for like a week or so before I flashed the Official TWRP and I never seen any negative side effects, and honestly, has been the best software/performance since I got the nine pro, with particularly the mobile data experience on T-Mobile.

Found the fix for the "Started by app." title on the settings. You have to use a file manager, then go into the Root partition. Once in the root partition go to System/System_Ext/Priv-app/Settings. Install the Setings.apk and that fixed the problem.

Stock kernel is inside the ROM package, you can extract it. And if you by any chance used Arter Kernel, you will need, boot.img, dtbo.img and vendor_boot.img.

I don't quite understand. Is this safe to flash? Do I need to back up persist? Is it only in chinese? Does it allow for Verizon connection? Are there drawbacks? Is it better to wait it out until the march release? Whats this about bloatware, is it in there, what bloatware is it?

I noticed some issue with C.11: Alarm is not working for me (tried : google clock, stock clock and so on.)
google assistant and features is not working
all google apps like calendar, phone, messages, weather, files... not working and lagging,
GPAY is working but freeze the success card paymant screen
FP is not working, i tried flash back persiest and make a mode and flashed the fix magisk file but not working.
notification so laggi , sometime i get sometime not only if i open the app, but battery optimalization turned off almost every app
2nd sim card voice is so laggy
