WiFi bandwidth is a big problem for this phone. I set up a local Phone to PC speed test and it was close to 40-60 Mbps. The same test gave 100 Mbps on my 5 year old potato tablet.
If you are someone who pays for 100 Mbps or more to your provider then this phone isn't the right choice because it won't be able to fully utilize it.
4G speeds are good though, it easily hits 75 mbps without overheating.

Here I work with wifi networks in my service, I can say that g4play is not one of the best, this device does not fill very well channel 13, and has problems with wmm, and 40 / mhz in 2.4ghz, sometimes other devices like ASUS, SONY and Samsung samsungs remain connected for hours, and g4 play sometimes crashes and connects quickly
I have never experienced problems with my Wi-Fi connection.

Constantly hanging and losing wifi connection
The phone struggles to cope at the limits of wifi signal when it needs to switch to mobile data. I've lost count of the number of times i've had to enable my SIM as it's been suspended as the phone struggles to switch between the different types of signal.

No 802.11AC. Sometimes takes much longer than it should to connect to multiple different WIFI access points.
Often I will turn on WIFI and it won't connect until I actually open the WIFI settings app. I find this very frustrating.

not signal drop and connects fast
Average strength.
not bad. cellualr signal and wi-fi signal reception is good and stays connected without any drop (i use my phone around 10 mtrs away all the time from home wi-fi router)

ZTE z982 losses power when attempting to connect to any WiFi
as mentioned in the title; it shutsdown when attempting to connect to any WiFi, its been doing this around April or May of 2020. Then when i power itback on i may say battery to low (even if it has as much as 24%)
