Maybe because I've seen it's *NOT* by Motorola (com.nomotorola.gallery2)...
Anyway it's nice and I've blocked eventual internet access for safety reasons...
Now we are getting 64x roms, our phone should be able to get the feature hdr+, but when i'm trying to make a picture, everything is getting green..
Is there an zip file?
Or an different apk?

You may ask in that thread. I see that he took libs from another similar device. Great work, indeed. Probably some compatibility issues because camera hw is not exactly the same. So we can be lucky that works at all.
Btw, try another camera with hdr+ support or gallery. Maybe is file format issue.

He mentioned problems with the camera. I don't know what app he includes but there are two apps you might want to try. There is a modded Google camera flying somewhere through this forum that's supposed to work with our device and the Qualcomm made Snap Cam. You should find out through Google, most likely in a OnePlus forum but it should work, on both stock and custom since both a very close to AOSP

Well, that's obvious but why do you think that hdr+ will provide that? Afaik, it's (just) new specification. Not necessary will provide better photos with existing hw.

That's ok As usual, camera does not work well with custom rom. At least not at the beginning.
Let me ask you again, have you noticed any advantages/disadvantages of 64bit?

Hello friends i found version of Gcam working with a trick.It is only an old version of gcam(only with hdr+) there is no portrait mode support.
I am on
ROM;-NitrogenOs
magisk:-15.1
Kernel:-guess
Download module(camera2api enabler) and app from here. Install module in magisk manager Reboot your device. install gcam.In my Rom there is no video/sound issue, tell yours.
If it works for you comment below.

Note:-Its not have portrait mode or any other features but better than stock camera.

No portrait mode just hdr+ only.
i tested latest MGC_5.1.018.177470874.41362666__A7.0-8.1_MI5S_v2e.apk and everything works fine
just have problem with selfie camera color shakes and get grey when i am using front camera

That's a comman problem(but yet not fixed) . So you can enable smart bust or use older device configuration.
It's also work resurrsion remix ROM ....

The lastest one works fine on photos. Somehow videos crash. I used Footej Cam for videos and its okay.

Yeah, I didnt get time to check for other versions of G Cam, or post its problem. But using footej camera solves the problem. You also get EIS at 4K with footej.

Bro you are lucky for me...
Just getting Pie in Real Time as i am typing this....
The pie version worked on Stills and but Video Cam didn't function.
So i reverted back to my previous GCam Version.
Pie promises Camera Enhancements on Stock Cam as well..so lets see. Thanks again

Check the One Plus 3/3T Gcam sets. They should work. Or maybe some other builds... Lots of Builds will come. Don't worry

I just installed the version you have mentioned... Its awesome on pics...
The video appears ok, just a few crackling sounds appeared along with the Normal audio.
Shall check in a silent room...
Maybe a sound caused by my own hands while checking image stabilization..
PS: Don't know where to look out for another version...lollzz

Does 48 mp work for you? It doesn't work for me. Even with the Magisk module, it shows same resolution on both 12 and 48

Maybe I'm too stupid... But I have no idea how to use the xml files. I created the needed folders, in the app I double tapped near the capture button. This activates the zoom but anything else happened... What I'm doing wrong?

I just saw it in the changelog, latest version is without xml support...
Check version of installed gcam. Maybe you tried to install another version, or version didn't update.
GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v1.4 is the current version. what xml you using with this version?

There is already an anonymous config update for 7.3 version.
Latest version supports xml. Still no 48 mp though.

I dont get same results with new version.
The pics here are from latest 7.3 and some pics from stoc and old urnyx camera from. That camera version wont install on latest miui update.
