Incompatible to clockworkmod

Hello, i recently rooted my android phone.
Now i wanted to flash a custom rom on it, but when i open clockworkmod and i try to install the recovery it sais that my phone is incompatible (TCL U980)
How do i flash the custom rom safely on it?

(i rooted the phone with vRoot, its now the only program that recognized my phone so far X_X)

i cannot even use play store on this rom X_____X

It seems like there isnt even a ROM existant for my phone...
But this rom cant even open play store, am i stuck with it?! D:

Nah, just found it. Try flashing a gapps package for the play store issue. As far as custom roms go, if the phone doesn't have one, I wouldn't try to force a flash. I've done it, wasn't good. Good luck!

download ROM Manager from PlayStore and download the cwm from the rom manager
it worked for me

[TOOL][WIP PORT]I9505 AOSP 6.0.1 on I9525

Hi, guys! Today, I looked on the S4 Active forum (just for fun) and I saw that this still great device is pratically no longer supported, so I tried to port the JASONRR's masterpatch for Marshmallow AOSP roms.
Before jumping of joy I have to tell you that THIS IS A BLIND MADE tool!
Yep, you got it. I don't own the S4A anymore, but I felt so bad when I bought it and realized that there were no support from anyone, so I tried this blind build of the tool. I hope it works, let me know!

So, for installing AOSP roms you should:
- Download any cm13 based S4 (I9505) ROM, the more "pure" it is, the more are the possibilities to boot up!
- Download the patch
- Wipe system, data, dalvik, cache
OR
- Flash in multiboot:
- Flash the ROM
- Flash the patch
- Reboot and let me know

As I said it is a blind made version.
Btw, did you encounter any error with the installation? Or doesn't it just boot? Try with any almost pure cm13 and let me know please.
It seems that nobody is intrested in cm13...

Installation is good, bootloop happens only... Nothing more... Bootanimation loop... Okie... Will try aosp 6

Ok, thanks. If you could try with cm13 it would be great, if it will not work too I assume I still left some files unchanged.

The idea of the MasterPatch all started with the i537 for porting ROMs from the i9505. Then another MasterPatch was created to flash i9505 KK ROMs to the i9295. I suggest taking a look at the two threads below, they may have some additional information on which files need to be modified/replaced to get i9505 ROMs working on the i9295.

While rebooting shows no os installed on twrp after wiping data also its goes to continues boot screen

Status bar looks tall, looks like a port from a xiaomi device with notch

It not a fake. got from telegram group. not a official rom. cutom rom.

Theme is not working well cant change wallpaper onnlockscreen bit I was on the ROM forma half hour iy semms to work well

The ROM is not for redmi note 5 pro. Well i guess you tried to port it from Mi 8 lite. But failed as little knowledge is always dangerous.

Has anyone tried any GSIs on our device? I see lots of roms springing up for the 7 pro, I'm curious if we could flash them with slight modification.

All dev's busy with OP7 Pro because they got devices from OP. And no one bother what is happening with other ROMs. Now these days custom ROMs dying and it's a bitter fact.

This is a GSI, but I've also seen that omnirom have a device tree up on GitHub. So it's coming ?.

There is no TWRP so can't really flash a non treble rom.
Once TWRP officially support Android 10 I'm sure more and more ROMs and kernels will come.

I've looked into this twrp and being the op8pro is the a/b partition like the OnePlus 6 and up there has to be a twrp installer as well . Say we had a rom to try there is a certain flashing process
