I am going to upload TO and link FROM MEGA all stock files as well as the correct scatter file here followed by two simple boot loader unlock methods which to my knowledge is different from the other E4 variants .I will also add a working twrp recovery . This is only a guide and a place to post the files needed to return to stock or to unlock our boot loader and root with twrp. All credits go to the creators of the tools so please direct donations accordingly. This is not my work if not my experience and files shared after trying to get the correct files and guides needed for our specific build and variant.
*THIS GUIDE ASSUMES YOU KNOW HOW TO USE SP FLASHTOOLS, ADB , KNOW WHAT ROOT AND CUSTOM RECOVERY ARE . IF YOU DON´T PLEASE ASK GOOGLE OR XDA UNIVERSITY . THIS GUIDE PROVIDES ONLY THE FILES AND NECCESARY STEPS*

The correct scatter file for our device and stock boot image will be attached here . These will be followed by the correct process and the stock rom and other tools needed.
UNLOCKING OUR BOOT LOADER
***WE DON´T NEED TO GO THROUGH THE OFFICIAL LENOVO UNLOCK CODE REQUEST PROCESS TO UNLOCK***
-go to settings
-go to about
-press build number various times until developers options are enabled
-enable oem unlock and usb debugging
-disable verify apps via usb
-run adb terminal from tools folder
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
press volume up to select yes

*xposed fails but at least i don't have to worry about roaming R ...recovery shows incorrect battery levels but working correctly in the rom *all 3 bad ported recoveries for this phone shows 50% battery all the time * this recovery is better than the other one from stupdroid i posted . This is not my work . It is the work of darklord ..for sources and donations and further info plus download links go to the russian lenovo website .

yeah man don't worry ...it's the whole rom ...who knows what goes into stock ...one of the main advantage s of custom rom is dropping all the extra weight :good:
lg stock on my g3 was 1GB and aosp stock in the 350mb etc etc :victory:
you can always put all that 3GB back if you don't like running light :cyclops:

yes , i have never been able to implement mtk engineering mode or apk in a lineage rom though..you lose out on that and stock camera generally ..

My phone model is XT1762 like you and when i have rooted it the magisk root failed so i went with phh superuser since that my phone is keeping crashing ("app" keeps stopping) so do you think that this restore will help me resolving this problem and is there any way to enable the notification led in stock rom

so no need to root again, only when u factory reset it

Motorola + Lenovo Devs forgot to enable it due to that , its still not yet enabled.
maybe other developers are/will work on it.
for me, i actually left Android Custom Roms development.
Maybe u can do more research how to enable Notification Led on your Moto E4.

pay attention:
as you know there is no bugless twrp for this phone and if you wipe data with that your phone may not boot.

you may see few chinese apps you can uninstall them by lucky patcher or flash the zip that i send by twrp

Unfortunately this rom doesn't support play store
You can download apps from google.com
May be this problem will be fixed in next version

can someone post this rom on any Android File host website.. I am unable to download bcoz of limited exceed problem.

I downloaded, flashed & booted KangVIP rom using the file from this web hosting site itself, perhaps there were some pause & resumes or network interruptions in your case which led to a broken file download.

Since I flashed this file without wiping anything so it seems like playstore is working for me although facelock & theme manager doesn't work.

Originally Havoc 3.0 Q gsi based on v204 compiled by ExpressLuke , but for Hi6250 some bugs persist , so I managed to fix them and repacked the IMG then highly compressed.

* Camera * media ( sound , video , YouTube ..) * NFC * battery usage * auto brightness * phone Info's ( build number , model , manufacturer , device name .. ) * added Havoc bootanimation .
Bugs
* Offline charging ( requires permissive kernel , Labyrinth kernel 2.0 by Dil3mm4 tested * Blurry can be fixed in phh treble settings > Huawei features > 3rd option ( disabling hwcomposer ).
Installation

No, it's simply Havoc GSI with several fixes included especially for our device/platform and no, gapps are not included (you would have known if you read the first post more carefully )

the suggested twrp in first post works perfectly on most hi6250 ( emui 8 ) , plus it has an option ( exclude OEM path from data wipe ) from there you don't need to format data & internal storage to boot any gsi/dssi AFAIK.
Only sometimes installing gapps requires resize system from advanced wipe menu.

I Couldn't post pictures since new members need to wait, add to that I got only one answer telling me that it may not be possible.

No way to boot on my phone (WAS-LX1A)...stuck on boot, after some minutes its reboot, other minutes and then goes in erecovery.
I tried also a totally clean install starting with last firmware stock (WAS-LX1AC432B390) install (dload method) and then flashing Havoc 3.0 (based on v207) system file from fastboot.
Nothing to do and I came back beaten to Android 8.0
.....any help pls?
or maybe it is easier to buy a P30 lite

From my experience with flashing this device it is most likely that either your device is still encrypted or there are magisk leftovers or data partition wasn't wiped correctly, that's causing rom not to boot. And always use pretoriano's twrp_0.5_test, works best. Sometimes it boots to erecovery, but you can try to reboot and it might work then.

I think you're right, I also think it's due to encryption or data partition (not magisk because I made a clean installation), because I had the same problem, stuck on boot, with all the Roms (PIE and Q) that require TWRP.
The only rom without problems was OpenKirin-OmniROM Pie Alpha 6.2 which does not require a custom recovery for installation !!
Do you have any operational suggestions to give me or I just have to try with pretoriano's twrp_0.5_test ??
What do you think if :
- In a stock recovery I do a factory reset
- From fastboot I do fastboot erase system, userdata and cache (or better to use format command for userdata?)
- the I flash system.img
- then I flash TWRP
- and then install magisk and gapps from TWRP?

Notes:
- To fix cellular data not working after changing sim, make a new file named simfix inside /sdcard and hit reboot, not tested but it should work
- It takes time for recovery to flash the ROM, be patient. Fastboot flashing is always recommended tho.
- If you get any 3rd party camera issues try the JoyUI camfix, cuz i forgot to merge lol
- Don't use LOS recovery if you want to flash this ROM in recovery
