Just like the tile says i cant activate my sim and it is correct, i can receive verification codes from them.....
Make sure you have sufficient balance in your phone account to send SMS for phone verification.
Try making a new MIUI Account and add the new account in the phone settings in "Mi Account". Connect account with your phone number by getting verification SMS sent to your phone.
For me it is the same ... I have 2 sim but can not send the verification sms to either of them ... But I have another problem, I run out of signal in both sims, I have to restart several times so that it returns to work accordingly.
What can happen...?
Thank you...

Have only had my Xda11s for a week and am very pleased with it except for voicemail notification.
I like to get straight back to customers who leave voicemails, but unlike my old Nokia phone which used to leave both a text message AND phone me back several times, my Xda11s has only been leaving text messages which if I am driving, I do not always notice.
I have been into the 901 options and selected "Voice notification" now I get nothing back at all to tell me somebody has left a message (tried it by leaving a message myself).
Any one have any bright ideas why this is or how I can get both a text message and a phone call back from 901 please?
Sorry to answer myself, but having left a second messgae to myself, voicemail did phone back so perhaps it takes 5 or 10 minutes to activate itself.
No text message though, so I presume you can only have one or the other with O2 on Xda's?
Does anybody know if you can have both?
I'm no expert as I don't use voice-mail, but such features are network dependant. In other words, it's the network (O2 or whoever) that calls you back or sends a text, not the phone. The phone merely allows you to change the settings without calling your network provider. If it isn't allowing you to set it up as you wish, you have two options.
One, read your network guide where there will be a list of commands you can use via your phone to change settings (often in the form *# Number number #) or
Two, phone your network provider and ask someone to set up your account to do this for you.
I just recently bought a used Galaxy Nexus for Sprint. The phone activated, and I am able to make calls, receive calls, and I get data. The only problem is that I can't send or receive text messages. When I got the phone, It was unlocked and had a CM9 rom on it. I have flashed various roms and have even returned it to stock. Sprint has said that the problem is the phone, as their network shows that the messages go through. Any ideas about what is going on here?
Dial pad
*#*#4636#*#*
/phone information/SMSC
And write your text message service number, if you don't know it, me neither, call your cell company information...

This happened to me once.I had created a gtalk or voice account and my txt went there so check that if u have opened an account lately.got to go in and change the settings on that account
I have a rooted Sprint gs3 ice cream sandwich but I no longer am with sprint, I use google voice exclusively and my google voice number.
I just downloaded snapchat and I can't activate it because it automatically sends a verification text to the device phone number & does not let you manually set your number. So now I need to find a way to set my device phone number to my google voice one.
Any suggestions?
I am not sure changing your # will be the only issue. If you aren't on sprint, then what messaging service is being used?
Is there another verification method? like send an email instead?
But for changing #'s look into getting your MSL code (unique 6 digit)
##DIAG# to set USB settings, ...then using a program that can reprogram your phone.
There are guides on how to obtain that info from your phone.
But this might be a waste of time and might not solve your issue.

Thanks for the MSL code tip, haven't tried it yet but the issue resolved itself after numerous attempts. Snapchat doesn't do email verification, the way they do it on Android seems to be by taking the number stored in your phone, or by making you send a text message to their number. I did it with Google voice app and it didn't work, but when I did it through Talkatone it worked after a few restarts. Weird.
Any other google voice users successfully change your snapchat number to your GV number? If I ask snapchat to verify my number and launch using google voice their message does not get transferred to gv to send. If I use hangouts it does, but after sending the verification code I never get a response.
I try to use Samsungs Private Share app and it gives me this error:
"You can't use Private Share because we can't read your phone number from your SIM, which we use as an ID. Contact the service provider for your SIM card and ask them to add your phone number to your SIM as the MSISDN."
I have talked to my phone operator 3 times and they tell me that the setup in their system looks good.
And when I look under "About phone" it says unknown phone number. I already got a new sim card, but no luck.
Any thoughts, guys?
Thank you in advance

I think it's a validation thingy, try this:
Open contacts, press the 3 dashesand select the gear on the top right (Settings on the contacts app).
Select "Share profile pictures"
It will ask youto activate profile sharing and will verify your number via SMS (kinda like 2 factor) after you do that the number will be verified and will appear on the phone settings.

Same with my s22 ultra. Esim number unknown. Sim 1 is ok. Please let me know if you find any solution
Try this.
Try clearing the data in Sim toolkit, network reset and clear the system cache from the boot menu.
Not sure how many people out there got eSIM working with AT&T on their Fold 3. But 2 or so weeks ago I went into AT&T and got them to get eSIM working on my Fold 3. It's been working great till recently. I think it might have been with adding a 2nd line (Tello).
SIM1 = Tello
eSIM = AT&T
right now Tello works great. AT&T... I can get Text and data but I can't make any phone calls or receive any phone calls. Anyone else using the DUAL setup?? I went in to get a new eSIM and same thing. Can't make or receive call but I can text and receive text and get data.
I have removed the Tello Sim card for good measure. Rebooting a good dozen times and no matter what I can't get AT&T to dial out or get calls.
Any ideas??
Honestly sounds like the esim from att wasn't provisioned correctly. I'd try to get them to remove it from their system and readd it

i was warned about this scenario by an ATT Manager; he said that the physical sim had to be an ATT sim. i have an unlocked ATT Z Fold 3, however, i haven't tried using another carrier's sim/esim. I also have a network unlocked, ATT S22U with a T-Mobile eSim and an ATT physical sim. phone calls and text msgs work fine, as long as i use Samsung Messages (no the Google version). if i use Google's version of messages, group chats don't always work.
I have an unlocked fold 3 and use a Google Fi physical sim, and had a GSMA (AT&T) eSIM with Red Pocket. Both worked perfectly fine with no problems. Phone calls, texts and data were flawless on both networks.
Google Messages does have an issue it with dual sim. For example while connected to the mobile network if your preferred sim is set to the physical sim, but you try to send an mms with the number associated with the eSIM you will have to switch to the eSIM to send it. Chat messages are effected the same way. Text messages don't seem to be impacted that I have encountered. Receiving messages seems to be effected in the same manner. Google Messages works normally when connected to WiFi and using RCS Chat
Since we can only have one data connection active on one sim at the same time, Google Messages gets weird about it. The issue is not present with Samsung Messages or Textra. Until Google updates the Messages app to fix the issue you will have to either change the preferred sim back and forth, use RCS on WiFi only, use Samsung Messages or use another 3rd party messaging app that has dual sim properly working.
Also be aware changing the preferred sim will also make it the default for messaging and phone calls. For some reason we lack the setting to specify which sim for calling and messaging. So if your eSIM is the primary number you use and switch to the physical sim, all your calls/messages will come from the physical sim. Using the shortcuts i mention below won't fully resolve this either. You can use an app like multi sim selector to help with the calling, but the messages you will have to be aware of what number your messaging from (sim 1 or sim 2) or the above suggestions.
@OP - Might be worth getting a hold of AT&T and asking them to make sure the eSIM is provisioned correctly on your (and AT&T) end. If it was working and then not it sounds like an AT&T issue.
I'm not sure if this applies here, but I've read a few comments on the AT&T forums AT&T prepaid doesn't play well with eSIM. I can't verify that to be true or not since I don't have the prepaid service through AT&T.
Meanwhile make sure you have set the eSIM up properly in the sim card manager. At first my eSIM did not have the APN selected as active, I had to manaually mark it as such... Secondly does the call/text issue occur when the eSIM is set as the primary sim? If so go through and double check the sim card manager settings so you have DSDS enabled.
You might want to get an app like Quick Shortcut Maker and look for "Mobile Network".. There are a few sim manager settings that might help resolve some issues your having. I attached an image to help find the shortcuts.
