You know, I just bought a quick circle case, its nice and all, but where the heck is my battery status, ??? I mean battery should be part of the normal stats provided on that circle screen. How hard is it to put a battery percentage bar in those watches honestly, I cannot believe LG didn't think of this. When anyone quick glances at that quick circle it should give more than the time on there, I mean yea it looks nice, but, I rather have more utility then just a pretty watch, I wear a watch anyways and don't really need to look at my phone for the watch. shouldn't they have a notification bar permanently on there instead of just appearing for .5 seconds and disappearing, The entire point of that quick circle screen should be to give the user 'QUICK' information about their notifications, battery, and yes time and date.
I hope they really fix this issue with the upcoming andriod L update

with "quick circle apps" from play store you can check your battery and notifications and more

While i appreciate and also own the app you mentioned, It still does not provide me with a glance to look at notifications and battery status, its just easier to just open the flip case rather then flip over the watch and open an app, which is rather lengthy to look at something as simple as a battery status
I'd like to know this as well. Could easily be shown in the circle, instead of having to flip open the case every time to see the percentage.
that's right ts, just a quick glance for battery remaining. since battery icon shows up in qc window when you are charging.
another thing they must add in quick circle is radio app.
since it's similar to music app in design when in notification area.
just the ability to change channel via qc window in a glance.
Here's an idea
How about on double tap, you can see the clock with the ring animation. When the ring animation has finished then it stays on as battery percentage. Full ring = 100% battery. If the battery is low then the ring could be red in colour.
Is anyone from LG reading this??
with dialer shortcut ? now with 1.4 a dialer shortcut is a must..

try minimal&elegant watch face
I'm very satisfied with Pujie Black. Less flexible than Watch Maker, therefore easier to customize.

Nixon Like Watch Face w Dialer Shortcut
I made a minimal watch face in watchmaker that has a shortcut for phone.
I call it Nixon because I started with the new Nixon face, making some changes.
The colors are soft, and I find this watch face gives me great battery life.
I suggest changing faces once a week though to reduce possible burn in.
Let me know what you think?
Taps:
Center for stop watch, then start, stop, reset, exit.
Weather spot for extended weather read out, and back.
Number 6 links to Tasker, make task in tasker, play next, this works for all players.
Number 10 to contacts, phone Dialer.
Tasker task set up, is task, media control, next.
This watch face works with watchmaker.

Just tested from my phone, click on link, chose to open with watchmaker, and it loads to my watches. Then push to watch. Make sure you update watchmaker version.
Hi Guys,
Just moved over from a Xiaomi Mi Max 3. I'm certainly not a notch guy on phones, but it's hard to ignore a 7.2 inch screen.
I have disabled the button navigation at the bottom of the screen to maximize screen real estate, but what I notice is that pretty much every app I run wont use the space beside the camera notch. It will either go "full screen" and leave the time, date, battery etc up there, or it will black all that stuff out. In both cases the apps don't actually use any other that space up there. Google Maps for example, it runs "Full Screen" and the time and date stuff is blacked out but the app wont actually use that space. If you're not using the space for the app why not leave the normal stuff up there?
I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the apps, or the UI itself? With video apps like you tube you can zoom out to take advantage of the extra space, but most app like Chrome don't use any of this space.
I'm scratching my head on this one as maybe this is how things are on "notch" phones?
Hey
Do you have some screenshots of both cases ? i'm not sure i understand you properly. I'm planning to buy the phone but i was expecting a way to force full screen apps normally like on samsung without this kind of issues.

Right, but that's the problem. Fire up Google Maps and turn the phone in landscape mode and that notification bar goes completely black. It's not being used "full screen" by google maps, it just becomes dead space not used for google maps or the notification bar.... You tube can be expanded to use this space. So I think maybe there needs to be an "expand" settings that makes all apps use this by default. Even with YouTube you have to do the expand every time...
Ah ok i see, On my phone it's turning transparent dark grey on google map for the notification bar. I agree it would be annoying if it's turning completely black even for screen burning.

Yup, Wasted space... We need to be able to use all the screen
I don't have mate 20 x yet. But with my previous phones I used to use app called gmd full screen immersive mode. To hide the top and navigation bars to use the whole screen.
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I think it's because alot of apps don't support this aspect ratio.
You can try on the display setting of the notch. Choose "show notch" on the app that you want to run fullscreen

YES! That is perfect, it now uses the whole screen, you can even see the maps under the notification bar.
Thank you!
Really nice find. Doesn't work on browsers though, annoying lol
Hey Guys! Developer of Energy Ring here. A dedicated new version for Note 10 is under development, require some testers to gather some feedback/information. Cheers!
Edit: Got enough internal testers, thanks! A live version will be up soon.
Pmd
Sir. If you want to test on note 10 plus exonious let me know:good:
I know you are full but would be happy to help if a spot opens up. Really appreciate your work and it really looks awesome!
can't wait to see how this thing works.
I will be happy to test your application (Note 10 plus Exynos)
Must root the device before test out the software?

I would like to make a suggestion.
I tried it, and I like it. However, during charging, on the lock screen, there should be an option to show or not show the ring. Right now, I use a black screen saver to save my screen from burn-in (the lower part showing the charge percentage), but with the app, the ring remains when the black screen saver is running, which kind of defeating my original intent to save the screen.
Other than that, it is a very cool app.
Now to disable the stock battery icon...
Got it, love it. Have it set up for 4 different colors at 4 different percentages and honestly, it's really cool. I dont need my battery percent on my active notification panel so my upper-screen looks less clittered!

Pretty sure you can do this with GoodLock (from the Samsung Store) and one of its plugins. It allows you to show/hide all of the system icons and move the clock around.
The plugin you want is called QuickStar.
I just tried this App for the S10 linked in the OP and love the idea. It would also be a great notification indicator, as I noticed the S10s no longer have a status LED.
May be nice to somehow incorporate a numeric percentage somewhere, maybe above the camera hole where there is dead space.

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded GoodLock, but can't seem to find the QuickStar plugin. I find the plugin through the Galaxy Store, and not through the GoodLock app, right?
Hello,
I tried searching but I am not finding the answer to my question.
Just got the UI 5.1 update. I added the Battery Widget to my HOME screen. The phone battery shows. And it I turn on anyother BT device, the battery status for the BT shows. Settings for the widget had Spen enabled, but it does not show. I have the Fold Edition Spen. When I open the phone, the spen works so I assume it it properly setup. I tried setting up the battery widget on both the front screen and unfolded screen - same results on both.
Any ideas why the spen battery status does not show on the widget?
Anyone have the Fold Spen show up on the battery widget?
Thank you in advance.
