Thx for your work :good:
It's really Android 10? Because GApps from download are 10.0 ...
Or is it Miui 10 and Android 9?
Can't download on device, only via PC?
Hi had to realize that the 2nd Sim card is displayed as not connected, even call still possible, but when I am called on the 2nd Sim card, I'm not reachable
but get a message from the answering machine of my provider that someone has tried to call me ,
With Android 9 or miui_MIMAX3Global_V11.0.5.0.PEDMIXM_Pie no problems,.
Known mistake? and - or is there already solutionsg?
Otherwise great Rome, a big thank you for your work and for keeping our Max3 alive
Incidentally, the above error occurs on all Android 10 Roms with me.
And please decode my bad English, but at the age of 62 it learns to slow down
Video recordings are not working. Phone hangs and restarts when I try to record.
Set it to 60fps and it works
Problems with Video Recording - Image Stabilization
Dear, thanks for the reply.
After your comment, I realized that for some reason the "image stabilization" function was enabled and she is responsible for crashing the application and restarting my mi max 3. When I disable this function, the phone records the videos normally .
Did I do something wrong installing this rom?
I'm sorry if, for a moment, it seemed like I complained or just criticized the development. This ROM is clean, fluid and perfect.
Congratulations to all for the great work!

Dear Radagast-1, this is really Android 10.
The system is very good to use. I installed it on 11/15 shortly after launch and I'm not having problems.
I did the installations by PC and, when necessary, used the smartphone. I had a bit of a hard time since I haven't done custom ROM installations for a while and this is my first time with a Xiaomi smartphone.

video still crashing, even after changing to 60FPS
issue with clock, and rebooted one time
i installed this superioros without gapps, preliminarily, i found two issues.
it rebooted once, it seems its not stable enough. i don't know why though.
there is some issue with clock, it was reset at one point and it didn't count.

Tested it myself and work, but camera is still need many work on it to make it working on Android 10, I switched to miui because of this, part which i can't fix by myself badly.
Android 10 is still early dev, if it's needed on your side consider to return to pie.

Didn't face this (used Superior 3 weeks long) but there's still sources issues coming or disappear. For the random reboot it's strange btw... I'll look into it if i have time to update this rom this weekend.
Make sure you follow the installation steps and recovery (OrangeFox r10). After that did you tried with Gapps ?

This rom and other 10 are based on an early dev.. too early. We need new sources to pretend to fix issues in nexts builds. So waiting like you for the work of two guys MrColdbird and Afr.
I'm almost only building for you. Can't do anything more on my own as it's not my job and don't have the knowledge.

Jio VOLTE not working
Jio VOLTE does not work on H930DS India. Is there a way to make it work yet? I am using this kernel: "boot_H930_pie_I_7_WIP3_mk4_los16.0_20181118.img".
the smoothest pie rom so far , I tested with mk4_du kernel it is amazingly smooth , I wish DAC and FM radio were also working

Can someone test if audio on WhatsApp calls works fine using loud speaker? Best way to test would be via a Video Call though.
What's the deal with the note saying that only Super GApps are recommended? A bit strange.

Based on his recommendation (thanks) I chose the same Kernel and it worked fine for me as well. I'm also on V30+ US998 converted from LS998. As I was entering the password for the WiFi I was already blown away by that magnifying glass feature when I was scrolling through the password to fix a letter I input incorrectly due to the default keyboard keys being a bit small. Never seen anything like that; such a nice feature.
I noticed the Pixel Launcher doesn't work though, it just keeps crashing. Is this normal or should I get some logs? Is this ROM still maintained? I wanted to try it first because based off very little research I did on Lawnchair it's apparently really good so I wanted to try Pixel first.
As far as customization the available options are decent. I couldn't find any settings for the launcher but I'm unsure if that's normal. There's no app icon for it either. The "CLEAR ALL" button is on the top right of recent apps. I'm unsure if that's default in Android Pie or not but for whatever reason it's there it seems like a bad placement because of the size of the phone (and phones in general these days).
Unfortunately, SELinux is permissive and cts SafetyNet fails. I tried both kernels and made sure USB debugging was off. I don't know what the issue is. Maybe another kernel would work? I don't know; I'm too lazy and I think people already know what the issue is so I'll move on to more ROMs. The ROM was very responsive though, just like stock. I didn't notice any issues with stock ROM performance but I think the animations give you the impression on this ROM that it's faster/smoother. Really well-polished in that aspect IMO. My phone on stock Oreo (20F) scores 182k+ on AnTuTu, 200k+ on dotOS and Superior OS scored 212k+ with the DU kernel. Though, AnTuTu reports the MEM score is abnormal and I would agree lol.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Kernel version is 4.4 so new bootloader is required.
2. Needs latest official twrp.
If you are coming from roms with /vendor than follow this
this build is pre release so there is no official tag, wrong utouch labeling and old bootanimation

Hi, dev. I'm using the last build and I like it a lot, the rom is dope. But I found some bugs and I don't know if it's just me or if they're rom bugs in general. I already clean flashed the build but even then I can't access the developer options (to enable debugging, for example), every time I try it goes back to the menu. And sometimes I have fc in the settings and I need to reboot the device. You prefer me to report on the telegram or right here?
Other than that, it's a really good rom. I never got to test the Nougat/Oreo versions of dotOS but I intend to continue in this version for a long time. Congratulations for the good work! :good:

It's cool to see that miju12 is back on cooking ROM for z2, his ROMs were among the firsts I've installed 2 years ago . I loved dot os nougat version, I hope Pie version will be as smooth and complete in the next releases. I'll try to stick to dot os a few days to give feedback about bugs, features and battery life. After first reboot, I can already say the rom is really smooth in Ui and scrolling.
Ps: fc on opening developper options, but can access it by searching one of its parameters
Dev Dot OS is awesome , I have recovery as well as ROM by you , running smooth with no fluctuation of network bar. Please add hide QS in lockscreen .
thanks

hows the battery backup?
I install today so at present I am not able to give any feedback ( I install f1xy kernel so, results may vary) . As far battery sounds promising.
Deleted.
Battery backup of DOT OS with f1xy kernel
Battery useage
with last nameless (27) I get top notch smoothness and good battery life (but stock kernel is great, I changed out of curiosity) . I've tried last days bootleggers/aex/PE/pyxies which have more features but a few scroll lags which I don't have here. Also, dot os dark theme is really cool and gives the impression of using a new system and stand out from competition
why I can't find a download link... whenever I open that link in first post, it opens dot-os Oreo roms link!

Rom works fine, real snappy! Any chance for substratum support in the future?
Nevermind, I'm a goof
Thread updated. Rom is official now
Checked website isn't listed under official devices?

Is this going to include the framework for rounded corners? (V30 has them)
Otherwise wicked ROM so far!
This is the best ROM I've ever tried on our device by far and I have tried every other ROM on the forum, I'm genuinely considering settellig for this one were it not for the random reboots here and there. Any idea what could be done to fix that and thank you.
screen mirroring doesn't work, everytime i try to connect to my smart tv, it came to lock screen again, stock rom still connects fine.

This might has been asked on other AOSP threads :
I am currently on unlocked rooted stock H930DS.
If I flashed this, will my internal sdcard (where the downloads usually) be deleted?
If not deleted, if I flashed back to stock ROM using the TWRP zip file, will the internal sdcard be deleted?
Many thanks

Your internal storage will only be deleted if you format it.
To avoid this after entering recovery instead of swiping on factory reset click 'advanced'.
Once you're in there you can check system, data, dalvik, cache and leave the others unchecked (internal storage, microsd, usbotg etc..) this will wipe all that is needed for a clean ROM install.
Thanks Chazz?..

Thx for your response. Yeah, guess I don't need it that bad.

You could but there will probably be several issues. So either stick to RR or clean flash this Rom
Just info sharing :
Flashed this yesterday night, clean install from stock rom.
So far everything is fine. Battery life still needs monitoring for few days.
Only things that I noticed that do not work that well :
- adaptive brightness especially during the night/dark. The brightness went down to almost 0% and I have to increase it everytime
- AOD was working fine for first few notifications, weirdly after a while it just wont show the AOD screen.
Overall it is a really good rom. This is my first AOSP jump after the stock for LG V30.

soryr if silly question, does this include the official LG camera?

Btw, you should clarify what FW we need to install before installing the rom.
I want you to handle the unnatural gap between the battery level and the mobile communication icon in the status bar

The gestures works for me, could you pass on a log while doing that ?
And which upper bar are you talking about ?
Edit : yes the home-screen gestures doesn't work when you try it above app icons !! Just do it in the home screen and not the icons. Cause there's a separate function for those icons too ( i.e other gestures like long press etc)

If it ain't working in miui as well, it could be a hardware problem. Use some app like CPU-Z to see whether the sensors 'actually' work. Please report after checking this , and use telegram if possible, link updated in the main post.

Any screenshots?
Do we need to flash vendor image before flashing your rom?
Are OTA updates supported?
Thanks
Thanks for your contribution, but I think it would be better to put a screenshot of these interesting features and/or explanations of them. Like, what's "less boring heads up"? How does it look like? Or, what's smart charging? What does it do and how does it determine how to charge?

No need to flash vendor image (has vendor), flash latest firmware. There's no OTA support yet, will apply for official so it will have OTA. For now I am stuck at MIUI (locked bootloader)
Will post when I get them

I wait for log from bootloop by someone who flashed it or can flash it so I can see what's the problem and fix it
New update is out!!
Changelog:
- ROM Changelog
• None
- Device Changelog
• Switched to vendor-less build so you need to flash latest firmware and vendor 9.6.20 from MIUI (Test)
This is a test to see if bootloop is fixed (since I don't have logs I can't figure the cause of it, if this also not work you will have to wait for a week when I will have unlocked the bootloader and will get logs myself, but if someone can please provide logs)
Download link is at the OP
Enjoy!!!(if it boots)
