Hi,
Is It possibile to have this feature on op5t?
I need do flash kernel? What are the kernels that have this feature?
Thx
If you mean power sharing via the type c cable connector on both ends, there are some custom roms which has the option to enable "charge connected device" yet i have never tested it. You may need a custom rom+kernel which supports it and also there is something else on the other end. I dont know if our type c port is capable of doing such a thing as delivering more power to the connected device. Surely it can run a rgb keyboard or a mouse but not sure charging another device.
You can just get a typce c cable (2 male ends) and just try it out on a custom rom with different kernels ( like affinity, web, madkernel etc.)
If you mean like an otg usb hub that has like ethernet port, hdmi, usb ports etc. It should.
I had mi mix 2(Sd835), once i connected a hub and i could use it without any issues(except slow charging)
I want ti connect and USB hub that have Power delivery function, so i want to recharge my phone and use an external hdd ( or mouse, keyboard ) at the same time...

I tried connecting a USB keyboard using an USB OTG cable, but I didn't get it to work. The other USB port is in use by my external harddrive.
Is there a possibility to make the keyboard work?
Can immagine more people want to add a second USB device to their OUYA...

You'll need to buy a USB HUB (Get a powered one to future proof all your USB needs, you can get a USB 2.0 Hub pretty cheap). This will allow you to hook up at least 3 USB's to the OUYA. The Micro USB won't work for things such as hard drives or HID devices.
In the future, please use the search function before posting as this has been talked about in many other posts.

I have a 4-port hub and it works fine connecting 1 storage and 3 other usb devices
I had this issue where only one harddrive could be used and If you have a harddrive with 2 partitions ouya wont mount it. Luckily I found an app called usbotghelper which does all the above I mentioned plus read and write and ext3 support. I wish it would get submitted to the ouya store so I could use the paid version that will mount on startup.
I have a Chinese phone and a Chinese OTG cable. On insertion of OTG cable the phone volume status bar appears, reducing volume to minimun and leaving to rest for a period removes the status bar. OTG Troubleshooter reports positive USB host support but negative on all three subsequent tests. I am now concerned that the cable is faulty. I am unaware of the technical limitations and because of this I need advice whether an OTG cable should provide the same connectivity with a PC as a standard USB cable. This one connects with my PC with no problem!!
Any help greatly appreciated.

Are you sure your phone support OTG usb? Not all of them do. Regarding using OTG cable with PC, I'm not sure it will work. OTG cable has a few pins shorted together to initiate "host" mode on your phone so you can connect peripheral devices (like mouse, keyboard, usb stick, drive, etc.). By default, PC is already setup as "host" to act in that mode.
some Chinese phone does not support OTG, what brand of phone do you use?

My original post stated that the OSG Host had been confirmed as present and my query was whether an OSG cable would permit connection with a PC because mine will connect. This makes me think that the cable is incorrectly configured (or in other words NOT an OSG cable). Your reply stated that you were not sure, or in other words my query was not answered. I guess I'll just return it as faulty.
Hello guys, I was wondering if you could help me out
I already have the phone (durr ) and the USB OTG Cable but my doubt is the following:
Can I have the USB OTG connected to the phone and to a Hub at the same time?
[btw:Being one of the ports of the USB Hub a charger and the other ones random stuff (such as mouse, keyboard and so on)]

Pretty sure when in otg mode it will always be a power source and unable to charge but I could be wrong.
hello,
I bought this device:
http://www.amazon.com/Inateck-Ethernet-Chromebook-Supported-Aluminum/dp/B012N8KYWU
because it reads nice, I just got it but as i plug it in it only flashes and the tablet only detects is as chargeable device.
I can switch to RNDIS as i wanted to try ethernet, in the developer option but if I do that, the Pixel reboots and reset the option to the prior one.
It even doesn't recognize a USB Stick on that Hub.
Is the hub broken or is there another issue?
Thanks Avalun.
I recently bought this USB Hub / Ethernet adapter and have successfully verified that the USB ports work and the Ethernet port works. I turned off the WiFi while testing the Ethernet port to be 100% sure. I also had USB Debugging enabled when doing all this.

thanks for the reply unfortunately that one is not available in the EU

Yes but it doesn't have an ethernetport. Additinally that doesn't deliver to Austria too.
I am always reading to use a usb OTG to navigate in TWRP but if I use an OTG adapter I can't use the usb port for powering the stick? How is this going to work?!

There is a splitter for that, search on Amazon
Amazon.com
Or you can also make it yourself just need some soldering skills and few components
If you want to use more than one device (like USB and keyboard and mouse) then you will need a usb hub also.
