If you wan't the bootloader unlocked you have to pay. Sim locked plays have had fastboot disabled.

2 Things:
1) Root is different from an unlocked bootloader. (very basically) Root is administrator permissions for different apps to run on your phone
2) The Boot partition is locked and can't be accessed.
ok i understand, if i sim unlock it using the online unlocking services will it also unlock my bootloader automatically?
No. However, the contrary is true: if you pay to unlock your bootloader your Sim lock will vanish as well.
any guide and is there any way to unlock it online?
Contact one of the people mentioned in the thread in my signature. They will be able to help you and guide you through the whole process
No not a chance like the other guy said you have to pay for it. You would if known if you had bothered searching

Hi
Can anyone tell me basic about root and unlocking LG Optimus G E973?
How to unlock without unlocked code?
Is the word "unlock" and "unlock bootloader" the same?
In order to unlock the phone for free, do we have to root the phone?

If Bootloader is unlocked, Network is unlocked too?

Nope, network unlock can only be achieved by unlock code for this device, and that is completely different from bootloader unlock.
-Root grants you permission control over root directory and allow for apps to have deeper integration with the android system for tweaks and such. Although this may pose a security threat for your device.
-bootloader unlock allows you to flash unsigned ROMs and kernels to your device and also poses a security threat to your device.
-network unlock allows you to use the GSM and/or CDMA network of your device with another carrier different from its original carrier unless your device is factory unlocked.
If all you want is to use your phone with another provider I suggest you stop looking for ways to unlock without code because its not possible and search for a trusted code unlocking service.

The XT1952DL G7 Play is called "Optimo" by Straighttalk, (ST) & Total Wireless , and "Revvlry" by T-Mobile.
I have the ST version; the bootloader is locked with the "OEM Unlock" option (in Developer Options) greyed-out. And, the mobile network is locked to ST/Verizon.
I own the phone (not blacklisted) but haven't had it long enough for ST to give me an unlock code.
Is there ANY way to unlock this XT1952DL???
Thanks, Will C.

Basically any Moto or phone in general from Verizon or att cannot be bootloader unlocked as the mentioned carriers do not allow it
XT1952DL - SIM unlocked
I got the SIM unlocked on my ST Moto G7 Optimo.
'Was locked to StraightTalk (VZW), but now works fine with a GSM (At&t mvno) sim card.
However, the bootloader is still locked down tight!
Would love to get rid of that ST/TracFone firmware!

I was able to unlock it. Find usb unlock for Optimo Xt-1952. They log remotely on the phone to unlock it.
Great find, I googled that and have to say I was unsure but gave it a go. I have a Tracfone version that was on Walmert Family Mobile, tried to put my Canadian sim in but didn't get any unlock prompts, took it to an unlocking service but they couldn't do anything with it.
Read you post and googled it and they managed to unlock it on the 2nd attempt, great service was all done within 30 mins of contacting them, like you said bootloader is still locked but nothing much I can do about that.
Unlock
So I've Google what you posted about you unlocking your phone & can't find anything , I have a straight talk "tracphone" would love to unlock, is there anything thing u can tell me to help me do so

Hi all,
I've some problem about bootloader. When i try this steps.
1. Settings--- About phone--- MIUI Version (Keep tapping it to enable developer option).
2. Settings--- Additional settings--- Developer option and bind your approved Mi account under Mi Unlock Status.
I cannot open because of sim card and mobile data. My both IMEI's does'nt work and i'm not able to use mobile data. Is there any different way to bootloader unlock?
Thanks all!

I'm also interested if anybody knows the answer
I had a carrier locked AT&T 6 Pro. I paid the balance, got it carrier unlocked and switched to T-Mobile.
Can I now unlock the bootloader of an ex-AT&T device,? Or just SIM unlock does not help.

You should now see the option to unlock the bootloader: in Developer Options, the option is called "OEM Unlocking".
But AT&T (and TMO) sometimes make this process difficult (glitches in the system, policy changes etc).
Is the OEM unlocking option greyed out?

Yes, it was greyed out earlier, but not anymore.

If it's not grayed out, then you can enable it, which means you'll be able to unlock the bootloader. Note that unlocking the bootloader forces a full wipe of your device. Toggling OEM Unlocking (and USB Debugging) doesn't do anything on its own other than allow you to unlock the bootloader.
So you can toggle those things, get everything ready - make backups of what you want to keep on internal storage, etc, and then when you're ready, proceed with any of several How To Guides in this section for how to unlock the bootloader.
