I've downloaded every version of Telenav available for my Artemis, but none will recognize the built-in GPS...they all want to search for a BT GPS Receiver. Does anyone know of a hack that will make this app recognize COM 4?
Better yet, with my frustration with TomTom 6.02 that comes pre-installed and USA maps, has anyone in the US found a great mapping solution for this device??
I've tried Navigon 5, but it is terribly slow and I don't like the interface all that well. Thanks for any solutions.
I know this is a different application but it does work on the Artemis have a look at Route 66 - The GPS is found automatically by the software and it works quite well, I don't have USA maps but hey are available - Mike
Hi Guys,
I am using Artemis and looking for a GPS program that can be used with Google maps.
So that I can download maps from Google earth and load in to the program, some thing like that.
Thanks,
google maps for ppc works fine! streaming the maps through gprs now (infinite gprs abbo). But could always prestream through usb conn?

I'm using Darkys 7.0 Rom and need to find an app that will connect to an external GPS device (Holux).
The bluetooth device can pair with the SGS, bit non of the apps from the market (that I've tried) have been successful in using it.
It did work when I had the native O2 UK 2.1 firmware and "Bluetooth GPS Provider" from the Android Market, but does not with 2.2.1 (Darkys Rom).
Maybe it's the Rom or perhaps I need a better app?
Any ideas ?
works for me on Stock JPY

Thanks.
It caused the SGS to reboot a few times but now it appears to be fine.
Thank you again.
Have you tried "Bluetooth GPS mouse" in market (free) ?
Bluetooth GPS written by Googoo Android works well with my Wayfinder BlueGPS external GPS. I had no problems with Google Maps and my favourite Navigation Application IGO MyWay.
Bluetooth GPS Mouse and Bluetooth GPS provider works well with Google Maps application but both of them had problems with IGO.
I am using Darkys Rom 7.7
Hello all,
I just purchased the Xtrons TM100L and will be installing it today. I originally was going to use Googe Maps or Waze tethering my phone. However I would like to be able to use one of the apps that just uses the GPS signal along with offline maps in case I'm in an area that does not have good data reception for my phone. I'm looking for suggestions on where to download the maps and what app will work well with those offline maps.
