I have bought my TCL 55P8E one month ago and is working fine. I have issue with Amazon Prime Video. When i setup the device for the first time Prime Video wasn't there and i had to install it from Google Play Store. Videos in Amazon Prime Video are working fine in 1080. But 4K contents like The Family Man, Jack Ryan and Saaho movie are not even playing. It shows an error message that "Something went wrong Please try again later. For more help, go to amazon.com/videohelp." But i can cast those contents from my mobile and play it on my TV in 4K quality without any hustle. I wanted to know whether anyone face this issue or not. Also i have noticed that my friend who had bought the same TV after one month have a latest Software Version is able to play those videos without any error message. But when i searched for System update, it isn't showing any. I contacted the customer service, but they told that the software updates are through OTA only and they can't help on it. Kindly help me out to get the latest software and hope by the update the issue will be solved. Below are the Software Versions of mine and my freind.

This 5 players looks identically like mine. But there is Android 5.1.1., mine have 4.4.4. I also asked resellers for update, but they replied that they are not authorized (if I were their customer, it would not be a problem).

I saw topic about MCU files here and there is KSP version. But nowhere I can't find system update.
Maybe my solution is to install Malaysk ROM? But it's not Android phone and I would prefer to use the official system.

I back with some, may be useful, information.
After a long time digging on the Internet, I found that the manufacturer of my device is Cusptech. I wrote an email to them (on [email protected]), but without response. So, I came up with an idea to search them using their website address on Facebook. I found there posts their Sales Menager and I wrote a message to him. After a short exchange of sentences, he confirmed this is their product and sent me latest MCU and software update files.
This is the last build of Android 4.4.4. They will not develop it anymore.
MCU file is quite new, but I did not ask for their plans about developing it.
The Menager stated that due to hardware differences, only version 4.4.4 is compatible with my device.

Hi guys I am new to this forum so if this thread is in the wrong section I apologize.
I have Samsung galaxy J7 2017 phone (SM-J730F). which I bought carrier free-unlocked from a seller in Croatia.
Unfortunately I was stupid enough to fall for the OTA update and installed Oreo on it, after that my phone's battery
life was cut in half and apps started hanging and crashing. I wan't to revert to Nougat, I have tried to flash
two official ROMS downloaded from updato and sammobile but it fails every time. Yes I have tried
multiple usb ports, cables and etc. Problem is I can't find the carrier free ROM for CROATIA on neither updato nor sammobile
and I downloaded south east europe rom which doesn't want to flash. By browsing through multiple pages
I found that the problem might be in the bootloader version, Oreo has higher bootloader version and doesn't
allow flashing a rom with lower bootloader version (which I havent checked). Please guys if someone could help
me with this, cause oreo is driving me crazy and basically making my device unusable. I'd appreciate it if someone could provide
links and tips or walkthroughs. Thanks in advance

I was told by Philips that my type of Android TV is not being supported with new Android 8 update. Is there any possibility to upgrade to higher version than 4.2.2? It is really making me crazy.
Eventually no apps working properly and no apps to download and above that the TV is bloody slow like snail....
