Do it that way. Just make the change in the file, then adb push, and reboot and all done.

Judging from what you've said, you may have formatted and deleted your /system partition. If you can still get to CWM, you're in luck. If not... Call up Ouya and ask about that warranty! As it is, without /system, there is no OS.
I dont know how to enter cwm. .
I tried some things like plug in a usb keyboard and press alt printscreen but no luck...

Try that and press control-alt-f1 after it SHOULD have booted. You may be out of luck if you actually formatted /system.

Call up Ouya technical support and see if they can do anything for you. Maybe an alternative method to get yourself into the recovery.

Hello everyone,
I encountered a problem with the Android Device Manager. I want to test the ADM. I tried several passwords. But now I locked it, do not know which one is the true one. Actually I remember them, but no one is correct. I tried to update the password, it gave back a message like
Code:
Your new password was not strong enough. Your device has the following password requirements:
NaN - 16 characters long
even I have tried a password like dt8UZLhFknapYK7L.
Anyone can help me? Thank you.

Wouldn't it just be your google/gmail password? Try it from a computer. https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager Well, just noticed you do need to create a new device password. Bummer! If you can't get it to work factory reset.
Reboot your device and try again.

No, it is not the password. I have already tried it before. I tried all the password I remember.

That sucks! I think you probably just misremember your password. I know that my daughter's mother uses it often enough to lock my daughters phone and it must be working fine because I'm sure she would call me and be a pain in the a$$ if she had any problems!

No, I do not misremember it. You see what message google gave back to me? NaN - 16 charaters.... NaN is always means a bug. It is google's fault.
BTW, is your daughter's mother your wife?

It's called a hard brick
Current solution is a motherboard replacement
There are no blank flash files currently (and probably never will be) for this device
In future never flash the bootloader part of a firmware or repartition a device unless you know what you are doing

A few days ago I watched this tutorial from a damn here in Brazil, but he does not know how to explain correctly, or I'm stupid to understand. I tried his method and did not succeed.
People here commented that he succeeded.
But I can not send the links here. I get a flood protection message for new users.
If you want to call me on linkedin or in the email I can send the link of the tutorial that is on youtube that I could not do correctly for not understanding, but maybe you can understand better and could help me.

For which they charged me 7500/- ₹
But after replacement.. the phone is crashig a lot.
I need to press power button end number of times & still the phone won't respond.
I don't know why this is happening.
Can someone suggest a solution?

nope because the system drivers are corrupt so it needs to be reset by unbricking the device
ok thanks, but can u explain me the steps , cause i don't exactly know how to unbrick. Cause I've never done so.
I don't want anything wrong to happen.

Firstly download the unbrick tool I have sent you through the link then switch off your phone and make sure cable is unplugged then hold the volume up button on your phone and then plug in the USB cable to the computer and phone then on your computer and open device manager and make sure under ports it says Qualcomm 9 and then extract the unbrick tool then run mam as admin then click start

This has a collection of unbrick tools and versions of OOS.
This contains detailed instructions also.
Hope you solve your problem.
If not and you still have warranty for the display (OnePlus gives atleast 3 months warranty on replacement), take the phone to the Service Center. In fact, if you have warranty, that should be the first option.
Thanks for the response.
But I don't think my device is bricked, cause the phone is on working mode, but it's just that whenever I lock my phone.. It does not gets unlock on the first attempt. I need to press the unlock/power button end number of times & the phone still don't responds. It gets crashed and the System UI error occurs & asks for force stop & the phone is lagging a lot. I can't even use it properly.
I would still recommend doing it

Not that much. But it is happening every 5th time I try to unlock my phone.
By this point you have two options get another device or get your op3 and take it to a OnePlus service center and get it repaired

OnePlus service is worse.
I guess I need to purchase a new smartphone then, or find some other solution.
