Original charger tab s3? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Accessories

Can anyone tell me the part nr of the original tab s3 charger? I bought my tab s3 second hand and got a 3rd brand charger, would like to see if I can get a original but can't find which one that would be...
Is it the standard 15W fast charger which also comes with the S8 and up? I know there's also a 25W version now, but just wondering what it originally came with... Found an EP-TA20 for the 15W and EP-TA30 for the 25W.

Model number EP‐TA10JWE
Input 100‐240V 50-60Hz 0.35A
Output 5.3V 2.0A
Info straight off adapter. Hope it helps.

USB data/charging cable

Does anyone know of a good (doesn't have to be OEM) data/charging cable that will work with the 10.1 tab? I saw a few non-OEM ones on Amazon but the reviews say they don't work (one person says it won't charge, another says it charges but won't do data). I guess I'm willing to pay for an OEM cable if someone can tell me which ones are compatible with the 10.1. Samsung live chat says they can't provide this info because the device is not officially released yet. Didn't seem like they were simply dumb or unwilling, just that support folks don't have the info/training/specs yet.
The 10.1v seems to need at least 2A output to charge and the only 2A output charger mains to USB adaptor I have is the one that came with it.
Some in Australia have tested the standard cable with third party 2A output chargers with no luck. Others say that their Samsung branded chargers from the original Galaxy Tab work fine.
I bought a 75cm retractable third party cable (labelled as working for the original Galaxy Tab) and it works for both data and charging on my 10.1v. I'm going to try my luck and buy a 3m third party cable as the 1m one provided by Samsung is simply too short to be practical for me.
Oh and the 10.1v, like the iPad (and original Galaxy Tab), will not charge over USB from most PCs.
They do charge from powered USB (1amp) just veeeery sloooowly
From a non-powered (500 milliamp) usb port, you're probably draining it quicker than it is charging
The original Galaxy Tab was also 2amp

Note 10.1 Chargers

Could anyone check the current rating of the supplied charger?
My Note should be arriving soon from the UK - although I could use an international plug converter, I don't really like the idea.
On the other hand I have a Belkin charger for my iPhone for 0.5A. Do you think this is enough?
Thx.
No. The original charger has an output 2 A at 5 V. And even with 2 A the Note 10.1 is only slowly charging.
The charger is rated 2A.
In addition, it uses a nonstandard method for "dumb charger" detection. If you connect an iPad charger or a standard 2A charger, it will not be detected.
The device needs to see D+ and D- shorted together AND floating at around 1.2 volts to charge. Same rules as all other Samsung tablets.
It is possible to find special Samsung Tablet charging adapters that will let it be used with iPad 2A chargers - here's an example of a DIY one - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1675042

will work - if those links break, just search for "P1000" on dealextreme - The charger standard and detection mechanism are common for all known Galaxy Tab models.
I'm using the same ones I had for the 7.0+ and 7.7 and they're charging the 10.1 just fine. Looks like .35A (old eyes here)!
The Tab 10.1 charger should work, right?

Tab 10.1 chargers will work. In fact I haven't even pulled my original charger out of the box, using the Tab 10.1 charger I already have.

My Note won't charge from an iPad charger but it has no trouble charging from an inexpensive PowerGen charger with the original Samsung cable or a cheap copycat cable.

I guess apple and samsung are real bussiness enemies
But, it's still better to use the original charger. And yes correct, with the 2A output rated, the note also slowly charge. Different from the N7000, which is quite fast to charge.
Can anyone link me to an identical charger to that which came out of the box that I can buy? Need to return my Note 10.1 but I have lost my cord.
Edit: Or one that at least looks identical.
Here's a good deal on the OEM charger. Be careful on eBay and Amazon, a lot of what's sold there are knock-offs.

And the 5V car charger too...

Check amazon.com for Samsung galaxy note 10.1 accessories.

I may pull the trigger on one of these. However, it is disconcerting to see a review of a cord that is also marketed as a a Galaxy Tab cord being reported by a reviewer on amazon as not fitting or charging.
Here's that cable:

Do you have personal experience with this cord from all4cellular fitting/charging your note 10.1 device?

The cord on Amazon's probably a knock-off. Yes, I've bought from all4cellular before. I've also gotten burned a couple of times on Amazon and eBay. E-mail them and confirm what's listed on their website is a genuine Samsung product. It may be shipped in a cellophane package vs. retail packaging but that won't matter as long as it’s OEM.
Can u use a 12v charger to charge n10.1 faster?

If you wish to burn your GN 10.1, yes. Otherwise, for your safety, no.
There are plenty of car chargers on eBay for the Note & Tab 10.1.
There is a brand called Pleomax, which is another brand name of Samsung accessories out of Korea.
You can also get a Samsung Note 10.1 charger (which is really the same as the Tab) for about 18.00 and plus 3.50 for shipping.
See eBay Item number: 160865117877. This is the one I just purchased.
The Note and Tab chargers are all 12v and 2a rated.

No... They are not. 5 volts output at up to 2A, not 12 volts.
Car chargers accept 12 volt INPUT, but the OUTPUT (to the Tab/Note) is 5v.
12v will fry the Tab/Note. The Note and Tab use a more standard charger detection algorithm than Asus Transformers (which actually have 12v charging...)

Correct. 5v output. I guess I didn't express that clearly.

If you buy this Pleomax charger http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-GENUINE...210563?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1e70f65483 can I use it to charge my Samsung Galaxy S3 as well or will the 2a output be a problem? or Do I need one of these http://www.amazon.com/ReVIVE-DualFL...7410690&sr=8-3&keywords=note+10.1+car+charger

Samsung 5V/2A adapter compatibility with the S3

Hi,
I have bought Nexus 10, which came with a Samsung adapter that outputs 5V/2A.
Model number is: ETA-P11JBE
I know that original S3 adapter outputs only 1A.
According to what I've read, the current stated on adapters is the maximum current the adapter can output. If that's true, then I can safely charge the S3 with this adapter without any risk, and the S3 will just pull less than the max current available.
What Do you think? Is this adapter compatible with the S3?

Yes, its fine. The phone will not draw more than it is capable of charging with which is ~1A.

buying new sgn charger

Recently, my sgn n7000 charger(1yr old) got damaged.
I am looking to buy new charger of same model, but after searching a lot, i coudnt find a new genuine charger online, most of them are boxed and loosely packed.
i got some gud deal for a charger but its 700ma, it will take a lot of time to charge..
While searching, i got at these product
http://www.ebay.in/itm/Buy-Online-S...?pt=IN_Mobile_Accessories&hash=item3384a4ebb8
but on the samsung website, the note n7000 is not in the compatible list.
i wanna know, will it charge my note properly or not. Will i t damage my battery..!
or else pls give some link whr i can get genuine charger.
charger
The charger looks like an indian version of the one my daughter received with her galaxy s4. White is the colour of her phone and the colour of her charger, it also was 5v at 2A. To my knowledge the charging of the battery within the phone is controlled by the phone and as long as it is supplied with its minimum requirement of 5v. it will charge at whatever current it can within the control of the power management in the phone.
Hope this helps ? I did look at the samsung website in india and they had power units for sale. I dont know where you are ?
Samsung India has 700ma chargers listed..
And do u charge ur note with that one..? Us thr any problem.?
charger
No mine is a 5v 1A samsung charger. I also have an incar charger which is a standard usb charger for any make of phone and that supplies 5v at 1A. I also have a Yiboyaun unit from china which charges just the battery, I have 3 additional batteries I use and charge with this unit from china. I have had this setup for more than a year with no problems.
You can charge N700x with the Note 2 charger (which puts out max 2A). It charges slightly faster than the original Sammy 1A charger/cable. It's perfectly safe because the phone will not take in more current than it's configured.

If it charges faster than 1A its not limiting the input. The note 1 battery is made for 1A chargers. Using 2A will limit the life span of the battery.

Let's talk wired chargers

New S8+ owner here.
1. Is the S6 and S7 charger identical to the S8's charger? Will it charge at the exact same speed?
2. Im interested in purchasing a couple of extra chargers which will grant me the exact same speed as the original Samsung S8+ charger.
Could you guys point me to a few leading chargers?
Thanks a lot in advance
My S6 charger supports the QC 2.0 on the S8+. It even works with the included usb-c adapter.

So from your reply I can garner that any QC 2 or 3 will give the max results.
I heard that the cable is a big issue with Samsung devices as well.
Do I must have a genuine Samsung cable or are there other known companies which make cables which support Samsung's fast charging?
Genuine Samsung cable on any charger charges the device well. I tried with Huawei and also Lenovo chargers. If non-samsung cable it charges very slow, but with original cable it charges fast.
So do you think I should not purchase cables from known companies like Aukey, Choetech and UGreen?
Must get genuine Samsung cables for fast charging?
My charger from my old Nexus 6P charges my s8+ the same speed as the original Samsung charger
