I've never had that issue before but it seems it happens on some define. I did a quick search and found that others have the issue too even on the S10.
Here are a few suggested fixes. Hope one of them helps.

Yes I have SD card and save pictures to it.i did reset camera and clear cache all of that. But no luck.
It's always important to mention your phone's model and firmware version when reporting a problem like this. Other threads about this problem say it's fixed by the ASJ8 update. Do you have that firmware yet?

So i assume that you tried to save to internal storage ? Else could be SD saving fault.

Hm, sorry, in that case I don't know what to suggest. (I see you do have the ASJ8 firmware.)
Same here, I got the update also. My pictures are saved to phone. I went to Carmera app and forced closed that took care of it but its definitely an issue have read about many having the same problem.

Actually I have not tried it in safe mode. But I did see that another person having the problem did and stated that the problem was still there. Thing is, it doesn't happen with every pic[emoji848]

If you received the ota camera update, it may be that you have background battery use restricted in the camera app.
Go to settings>apps>camera>battery>toggle 'allow background activity'. Reboot. Problem solved.

Hi guys,
Few days ago my S3 received official 4.3 android update, and weird things happening after that.
When I connect to internet, via wi-fi or data, phone automatically download a small file named "files.zip". And it happening every time I turn on wi-fi or data... I can`t find this file in downloads or anywhere else. When I try to open, it says "cannot open".
Second weird thing - browser often redirect me to a advertising or span webs. For instance, I try to open youtube.com, it opens different web with advertisement.
Anyone have an ideas how can I fix this?
We need proof screen shots video something

damn your luck were still stuck on 4.1.2 if your having the issues you say you are with what sounds like maleware. have you installed anything to check phone. over here we have apps like lookout security. i kno nod makes a phone app. you could always do a factory reset back to out the box state. reinstall apps one by one to check it out. sound like you have a app with crap in it.

Factory reset helped to solve "files.zip" autodownload problem, but phone is still laggy. It takes 3-5 seconds to turn on screen when I press power button in sleep mode. Applications become laggy. I will try to reflash 4.3 via KIES, if the problem remain, back to 4.1.2 will be optimal decision.
Thanks for help guys, and sorry again for getting lost in galaxy s3 forums
Hi. I just upgraded my phone and my wife's phone to official T-mobile 4.3. I rooted my phone using No Tripping Flash counter image. Everything works fine until phone looses the signal and after that I need to reboot phone to make calls, if I don't reboot it just ending calls immediately after I dial. My wife is having same issue with her phone. Anybody know how to resolve this issue?

What is your Current Baseband ? Can you try after factory reset ?
I am ok with doing factory reset on my phone since it is rooted and I have Titanium Back up but my wife won't agree to it.
See if after Factory Reset AND without restoring Titanium, are you able to make calls just fine ? If yes we'll find ways for your wife.
EDIT - Try My Backup Pro for your wife in the absence of Root.

It is same IMEI behind battery and in the settings. I think problem is phone loosing the signal and can't automatically find it. Sometimes instead of restarting it I put my phone in airplane mode and take it off so I push it to find signal.

It doesn't happen to me all the time but when it does it is annoying.
Just to add to this, I am getting this randomly as well, and I am bone stock. I thought it was something to do with my new car since I use Bluetooth all the time now, but every now and then, I go to make a call, and it just ends the call immediately. The only resolution is to reboot the phone.

It probably is related to Bluetooth given the 2 antenna are so close. But it could be the new 4.3 Stock Rom too. After Reboot do you consistently get good signal till you use Bluetooth ?

Nope, phone is perfectly fine otherwise. I decided to see what T-Mobile support would suggest. They first wanted me to try and clear data/cache on just the Dialer app, however those options weren't available, so she took me to stock recovery and performed a cache wipe. Since the problem is sporadic, there is little else to do except to wait and see if the problem returns. They claimed this is a memory problem in the dialer app though, so I am not sure if that was a s.w.a.g. (sophisticated wild ass guess), or if it has been reported enough times for T-Mobile to actually seek out information from Samsung.

PS- before doing the above steps do check for updates, it might solve ur issue.

OK, for some reason my device can barely go to sleep.
Wakelock detector shows a Google Photos process keeps the device awake for some reason:
*job*/com.google.android.apps.photos/.onboarding.autosignin.AutoSignInAndSyncJobService
Closed app, doesn't help.
Reset device, doesn't help.
Flashed a combination of different ROMs and different GAPPS as well as stock, doesn't help.
Used: DU, Pure Nexus, PA latest ROMs;
Open Gapps minimal, full, stock
Banks gapps, pure Nexus gapps.
I am clueless.

It's backing up photos or caching them on your device. You can't determine anything if your phone has only been on for 23 minutes. Let it do its thing.

That fixed it but what does it break? Can you upload photos? Do photos you have taken in the past display correctly? If yes: good. If no: you probably should try and figure out the real issue. I wonder if it is account related or something server side.

Took a pic now and it uploaded to the cloud successfully. All my past photos (2000 pics on a recent trip to Italy) show as well.
I believe it is a server-side issue. It started yesterday out of nowhere, and i'm a very minimalist user, I don't have almost any non-stock apps. It also also supported if it also affects Nexus 5 as mentioned earlier.
The service or process see.s to be associated to login or authentication of the user, which definitely has a complicated server side operation behind it, which could have gone wrong.
I wouldn't raise this to Google though. I saw full well how they ignore bugs reported by users for months and even years (mobile radio active bug being a prime example).

Definitely looks like a problem of Google, because to me THE SAME is happening... is crazy, the battery is draining much faster in my Nexus 5, if the battery is already a big piece of crap in Nexus 5, with this wakelock is even worse... During 5h I am finding 20 min of wakelock of photos WITHOUT MAKING ANY NEW PHOTO. Gonna try the "fix", but is there any way to tell Google? I don't really know...

Can't uncheck anything in Disable Service
I was having the same google photos wakelock issue on my International Galaxy S7 edge. I found it in Wakelock Detector. So I found this thread and then the app Disable Service but for some reason I can't uncheck the box under google photos in Disable Service. I am rooted and used CF- Auto Root.
I also have this issue. I am using the latest stock 6.0.1 ROM on Nexus 5, rooted with ElementalX kernel. Nothing else installed. (No Xposed etc). I tried to even turn off backup and unchecked "Google Photos Backup" in Settings > Accounts > Google.
Edit: On a span of 8 hours, the wakelock persisted for around 2 hours.
Same issue with the update... your "fix" works...
