Hi.
Anyone managed to pause and/or record live TV on a TCL? I installed the channels app and it found all the channels from my TV but no sound or schedule so I can't pick anything.
I have a 32ES560

not managed it. I wish it was easy just to just record your screen at any moment. And unfortunately there isnt a major dev scene for TCL custom roms to toally unlock our beast of a tv. I have a older TCL C2. works a treat.
Another channel application

Hello,
I bought an TCL U55X9006 and it works great so far.
Installed all my apps and even Live TV via tv-headend works great.
But I got DVB-S with about 1.200 channels and do not want to sort them by remote manually.
I don't find any option to export & import the channels as e.g. Sony ATV provide this.
Does anyone have an idea like hotel-mode, pro-mode, tool...?
Android TV 8 oreo is installed
Hello all,
I have Xiaomi Mi Smart TV 4S 43" (L43M5-5ASP) and looking for better PVR app to watch tv channels on terrestrial DVB-T2. Can somebody recommend any app? I tried Kodi but I can't get it working even with DVB-T2 addons
Hi all
I have the stick & the pro and have been using for IPTV, Netflix, YouTube etc mainly but I have moved house and have a lack of aerial so my old BT box that I used for freeview and recording is of no use. There is a satellite dish and LNB.
So I was wondering if I can use the shield for this either by connecting the LNB somehow or via an IPTV player that records. So a couple of questions...
As I understand it there is no way to connect the shield to the LNB and use it like that, is that correct? If I am wrong how do I do that please?
Secondly if I cannot do the above, or even if I can, would an IPTV player app or similar with the facility to record be a better option. If so does anyone have any recommendations please? I do not mind paying for the app as long as it works, I have read good things about the 'IPTV Tuner' app but cannot find anywhere if it records or just for viewing!
I've seen this but it has not been commented on for some time:

Hello all,
kinda different question and due to the nature of this topic kinda hard to google for.
I don't want to stream something to the FireTV Stick, i do want to stream the Video and Sound of the FireTV Stick.
Meaning that i want to e.g. stream what i do see there to a raspberry connected in a different room.
Anyone knows an app with which this could be possible.
Thanks in advance
Greetings Marco
ScrCpy will stream the FireTV screen over ADB, letting you navigate the device remotely

But it won't stream video from most streaming apps. Not sure of a method that works for video too.

Not really ideal solution. But you could connect the fire tv stick to an HDMI matrix -- distribution / splitter, and run HDMI cables to each location you want to watch at.
Hi,
I recently (today) bought a 58PUS8507 mainly because of its advertised timeshift feature. But whenever I press the pause button, I receive a notification saying "this feature isn't supported." I tried with multiple flash and hard drives. Has anyone run into this issue before? Thanks
