[MOD] ARCore 1.5 on Xiaomi Mi 6 Sagit

You might want to try ARCore 1.5 on Mi 6.
There's a simple way to do this.
Tested on Miui 10, but should work with any Oreo Miui.

First of all you need rooted phone and magisk.
Download module to enable Camera 2 API.
You can use Mi 6 ALL in One Mod <Version without rounded corners and no interface modifications> or other magisk module, as you like.
Then search in magisk module manager for MagiskHide Props Config. Install and reboot.
Once you've done, you need to change device fingerprint. Do this using a terminal.
Type props in terminal.

Select 1 - Edit device fingrprint
Press f - pick a certified fingerprint
Go to 16 - Xiaomi, and from there pick 11 - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s. Press y, y. Reboot.
Once you've done, install ARCore 1.5, which you can download from here .
Test it with measure app, version 2.2 and above.

It doesnt work, it want to update

According to your method, I succeeded.
It works well on my Mi6 (chinese MIUI10.8.11.8),
I use the ARStickers v1.5 in google camera ,it works well.

I just installed it. but it does not work on my MI 6 China MIUI10 8.12.6

China miui10 development version 8.12.13 update failed,

it's because you have to install also busybox. search it in magisk manager, from osmosis

for me (global stable) works only for 1.5: when I update to 1.6, google measure crash at start. do you have any tip? (btw, measurements with google measure are pretty much wrong for me, while with other phones with ARcore natively supported are more precise)

You need to set your fingerprint as xiaomi Mi8. Everything works better then (measurements made by Google Measure are definitely more precise))

really thank you: changed fingerprint from mimix2s to mi8, and with arcore 1.5 i had already installed from weeks, accuracy increased immediately both with google measure and AirMeasure. then I installed arcore 1.6 and everything works like a charm (no more crash at start with 1.6 version) veeeeery thank you

Yes my device is rooted.
I also followed all the instructions, included for the modules.
It passed all the step from the start to the last.
But when the Terminal need to reboot for the change take effect, after I rebooted the fingerprints revert back to Mi6.

Hey Thank you developer!
But on my Mi 6 with MIUI 10.9.1.17, with all magisk modules loaded and GCM works well, the AR Stickers still NOK.
It's said "Missing permission. To functional properly, AR Stickers needs your permission. Go to setting to allow permission for AR stickers". But all permission are allowed in App setting, as below picture shows.
Could you please help on that? Thank you~

Please read the complete post to understand this mod.​
Some important information:
I don't own a OnePlus6T and won't be able to update this mod without your help. In case of an OOS update i need to following files: OPSystemUI.apk [/system/product/priv-app] and framework-res.apk [/system/framework]
There won't be an UI or any other tuneable to configure anything for this mod
Lights will light up five times per notification
Lights will show up in App-icon color which generates the notification [Whatsapp: green lights, Telegram: blue lights, etc.]
Installation via Magisk only // Flashing via TWRP will fail
I'm providing two different versions of this mod:
'normal' : EdgeLighting / HorizonLights only
_black-qs: EdgeLighting / HorizonLights + black statusbar / notification backgrounds [on dark system theme]
Requirements:
Device: OnePlus6T [OnePlus6 version here]
ROM: OxygenOS 10.3.*
Magisk: Magisk v20.4
Settings: Ambient display notifications must be enabled [Settings - Display - Ambient Display - New notifications]

Information about Lighting v2:
Lights will show up in App-icon color which generates the notification [Whatsapp: green lights, Telegram: blue lights, etc.]
Lights will repeat max. 5 times now [instead of showing up once; as long as your display is turned on]
Information about Lighting v3:
Display turns on and shows incoming notification for 4 seconds
While display is on: HorizonLights repeating 8 times; notification disappears after the first 4 seconds [resulting in HorizonLights only mode a few seconds]

It only for OOS...it modify the systemui so it cannot use on custom rom! It will get bootloop!

No you don't need substratum. Just flash the zip simple. If it doesn't work. Flash overlay fix module. For me it's working without the 2nd zip anyway. :fingers-crossed:

Greate work. Would it be possible to repead the notification every 30 sec. or so? That would be fantastic

Not working on 6t overlay mount fix creating theming issue.

Hi @_4PERTURE_ I made a screen recording of StatixOS and uploaded it on YouTube. Hope this helps.
For some reason my F2FS /data partition cannot be properly detected by Lineage Recovery and I was initially unable to install. I reverted to TWRP, changed /data to EXT4, returned to Lineage Recovery and the install worked. But it might not have been the reason for working because according to Device Info HW, /data is still F2FS.
I cannot get into the Styles and Wallpaper menu.

As Q was at this stage and needed special twrp this rom is like it too
It should just goes some moth to update twrps to flash all R rom with them
Until a further notice you should use that twrp

thanks for the video, it certainly give us a good heads up.
Have you tried in developers options:
windows animation scale
transition animation scale
and
Animator duration scale
all these three to set to 0.5 x and see if it gets even smoother and scroll much faster?

I tried and it does get smoother and scroll much faster, which is the direct effect of adjusting those values anyway. I can say with confidence though that coming from MIUI and other ROMs like Pixel Experience/PE +/crDroid/EvolutionX/ion OS there is no discernible difference in smoothness and scroll speed.

Something I noticed though, is that whenever I try to mount /System and flash the Magisk zip file, when I reboot the Magisk app says that Magisk is not installed. Is there a fix?

[MOD][Magisk][MIUI][v1.1]ALWAYS on display for Mi 10 Lite (monet)

Hi there!
I made this Magisk module to enable more options to choose with the Always on display on monet and not only the annoying option of "10 seconds after tapping".
Did it modifying the "AODSettings.smali" file inside an old AOD apk, where there was an exception to our device to enable more options. I'm trying to make it work with recent versions.
Tested and working on MIUI Q/R stock and xiaomi.eu based ROMS.

- Patched original apk, ver. 2.0.453.
v1.1 (11/02/2021)
-Updated AOD app from 2.0.453 to 2.4.542
-Solved a syntax error on "AODSettings.smali" which could cause side effects on some sensors.

-Specific apk bugs solved (Xiaomi's changelog)
Maybe there won't be more updates of this mod because for earlier versions of AOD they included proprietary libs that are not easy to manage.

The MOD is under testing, working fine with xiaomi.eu 12.1.1 - Android 11.
Super Wallpapers compatible.
Not tested yet on global and another MIUI based ROMs.

I have tested your module, but I cannot boot my device with it. I am on xiaomi.eu 12.1.1 as well.

Works on 12.1.3 EEA rom with root.
Please add dark mode. I love sheduled mode.

It is a specific apk version bug, so I'll try to make the mod work with recent versions.

Yes, you must root with Magisk. I don't know if there's another way. Maybe uninstalling the system app with adb and then install manually the modified APK. But I didn't try.

I read that this is unfortunately not working with System Apps.
Is it not possible to edit the Android Manifest and raise the APP Version higher than the already installed AOD App?

What do you mean by that? So it won't work with the upcoming versions? Then I won't play with root if it's just a temporary solution. Have you noticed the changes of the libs in the latest beta?
Oh, and BTW, is the functionality of this mod the same as for other xiaomi smartphones that include AOD always options out-of-box? I'm sure it's a better solution than disabling MIUI optimizations to get it working (regarding battery efficiency)...

Didn't know that Redmi Note 10 Pro have the same limitation. I mean, maybe there won't be more updates of my mod because for earlier versions than 2.4.542, Xiaomi included proprietary libs inside the apk, they don't have debug symbols and the built apk doesn't work. Look at this

Is the same problem for me, so this is not my notion.
Also, note that the mod works fine, even with latest betas, so is not a temporary solution. Have been using this along with the Telegram community. Maybe if I have the time I'll try to modify the Android Manifest and see if it works without root. By now, this should work on any Xiaomi with AOD support.

Only the weather super theme has a double clock display error

There is a new update for monet, 12.5.2 (xiaomi.eu), the module doesn't work anymore. Clicking the AOD in settings throws you back to the main settings page.

从上一个版本的pixel Experience A12升级到A13,需要格式化手机数据吗？

Coming from pe12 with PE recovery do I need to flash anything or just clean/factory reset and sideload the new a13?

is there clipboard permission?

guyes does the voce calling work because the others dont hear me

Now Playing not working. 3 button invert/swap option missing.

Many thanks @lzgmc - just done a clean install.
Is there any recommended GCam that works fine (or settings needed to be set)?
MGC_8.5.300_A10_V9 and MGC_8.6.263_A11_V9 - can not record videos and crashes on slowmo
EDIT: videos can be recorded only when Focus Tracking is disabled
EDIT2: Nikita GCam does the job

Fantastic! Waited for a long time, So far so good. Only a few things missing:
Status bar setting is missing and Advanced restart
The input text in USSD on phone app is black even in dark mode.
At a Glance has no options for weather or others but the weather shows up fine,
No option to add adaptive brightness to brightness slider in QS panel.
Am not sure if the WIFI and data icons are still separable in A13 but that too is missing
And the Tap to sleep in status bar and Lock screen too.
