Stuck on unlocking bootloader - Realme X Questions & Answers

I have been having this problem with unlocking my bootloader of Realme X .
The device does not accept any command from the fastboot, flashing unlock gives error (pic uploaded) .
Although the device is still recognized on fastboot, any command to it just reverts it to the screen for shutting down.
I have tried different cables, different pcs, linux and windows. Nothing seems to work. Other phones seems to work fine. OEM unlock is enabled. And the in-depth test app is verified too.
Device:RMX1901
COLOROS 6
Version : RMX1901EX_11_A.08
Kernel Version : 4.9.112
Security Patch Level : 5 September 2019
Any help is appreciated.

Download In-Depth Test and submit your application, wait the review and then you will be able to unlock bootloder.

I did that, the query was successful and the device booted into the fastboot quite easily.
Tried with cmd and system-wide adb, no such luck.
I was thinking maybe is it an thing with the A.08 update?
Let me try with the A.09 and see.

I had to use a different windows machine.
As soon as I switched, everything worked fine.
It could have been a driver problem on my first cpu (too many drivers from different oem installed causing problems)
Try uninstalling any non oppo drivers and reinstall One-click adb and Google drivers.

I don't normally post in the forums however I figured this may be important.
Lets hope that this time we may be able to get our bootloaders unlocked.

Saw same, subscribed to thread!
Searching for the exact phrase, not much out there I found other than a G4 question regarding the same...
Copied and pasted this from a source I found..
For those new to “OEM unlock,” just know that this is a part of the command used to unlock a Nexus phone’s bootloader. After installing the Android SDK, plugging your phone into a computer, opening adb, and rebooting to the bootloader, a simple command in adb of “fastboot oem unlock” will start the process of phone freedom.
It's a command used in fastboot unfortunately samsung phones don't have a fastboot they have a recovery that you can use adb in and they have odin mode that as far as I can tell fastboot doesn't work in. So I am unsure of how we would test this.

My understanding is that this is hard built into the developer mode, so stock vanilla Google phones like nexus and I'm guessing probably the moto lines are the only phones for which this will work. Basically, you're telling the phone whether to ignore the command altogether or to actually execute the command when it's toggled on. Think of this like the following: oem unlock toggle : permit execution of 'oem unlock' command :: USB enabled toggle :: being able to use the adb command
As @51ngular1ty said above, Sam phones have a completely different recovery architecture, so they respond to different commands/software.

Fastboot is a commandline tool used through adb. You plug you phone in while its on and you can use adb commands but you have yo enable it in the dev settings

unable to install or launch TWRP

Hey,
I've unlocked my Mi 6 today (i'm using the global developer ROM 8.9.13 (MIUI10)) and wanted to root it, as many guides said I have to replace the default recovery with something like TWRP
result was:
{

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
after leaving it like that for 30 minutes nothing has changed, the screen on my mobile was the the default fastboot screen nothing ever changed
so i tried to just launch TWRP without installing it:
nothing changed like before and i've stopped after 5minutes
i also have the same result with RedWolf Recovery Project:
I also tried using XiaoMiTool but all i got was the message that my phone is not connected to my MiAccount and still locked and did nothing
Does anyone have any idea whats going?
Edit:
seems like flashboot commands dont work? tried flashboot continue to reboot the device after checking with fastboot devices to see if it was recognized by the system and it was indeed.
and the result were the same as above cmd was stuck mobile didnt react....
Thanks
Dugma

I'd rather flash the recovery than just booting to it. You can flash it with fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You should be able to boot to recovery afterwards. Or at least that's what I did when I bought my phone. I updated to the latest version of MIUI (android 8.0), then I enabled "oem unlock") and I was able to flash twrp with no problems. Keep in mind that the stock rom erases any custom recovery with the default one on boot.
Facing the same issue. Tried everything but no success.

Couldn't verify device (Mi Unlock)

I have a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 official global version (4/64 GB) and I've been trying to unlock the bootloader with the Mi Unlock software, but despite trying many times I always end up with the error that appears in the image. I've tried everything I've seen on the Internet but without any success. I've seen some people say that you have to wait a few days but it's been a week already and no luck. It could also be a problem of drivers but I've tried a few and still no results (maybe I don't install them correctly).
I really don't know what to do anymore and I would appreciate your help.

You have to wait 720 hours (30 days - new time frame) before you can unlock the bootloader.

That happens during the second step "Unlocking". He can't get there to activate the 720 hrs countdown...
@Aldagar
Did you bind your Mi account in Settings > Additional settings > Developer option > Mi Unlock Status? Does your Mi account have unlock permission? Any firewalls preventing Mi Unlock talking to Xiaomi servers?
I had the same error message first using a 3.0 USB port... Switching to a 2.0 USB port did the trick...
Try another pc. That helped for a lot of people.

THANK GOD. I think that was it. I had to try with another PC since mine only has USB 3.0 ports, but it worked. Now after days of trying the program tells me to wait 261 hours to unlock the device... Well, thank you so much for your reply anyway.

You need to manually update the driver in device manager, try the below one. If it says installation failed due to unsigned drivers, then disable signature verification in your PC and try install again

It still don't work.
Right click on Android Bootloader Interface
Then connect your phone to the computer
Click on update driver
Select Browse my computer for drivers.
Then select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
Click Next and let it complete
If you still face any issue download updated adb and fastboot drivers
ADB and FASTBOOT DRIVERS
I get this error message:
It means This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Updated also not help.
Is this always so difficult on Windows?

No it is not. Uninstall the Android Bootloader drivers and restart your computer. Restart using restart button
Then connect your phone and see if it solves your problem.

Try this one, i'm used this in in my Windows 8 and it worked perfectly, it should work in Windows 10 too.
thanks to mvikrant97 I can now unlock my phone.
My Rzyen 5 3600 CUP had some issues with the driver. We used the "AMD Ryzen USB controller fix.zip".

Question Unable to unlock bootloader

I am unable to unlock the bootloader (I know every little detail of the process and I have done it successfully again in another xiaomi lisa device).
All the drivers are installed, phone is recognized, I have tried with adb and with miflash_unlock without success. It doesn't start countdown. I get the message that I must have a Mi account registered in my phone (as of course I do). With adb I get the error 'Token Verify Failed, Reboot the device'. I have to mention that I used Windows 10 and the original usb cable.
I believe the problem is that in Mi Account -> Devices , the SIM card seems that is not recognized, although is working fine.

Check that your device appears here and use the same account/sim.
I confirm that my device appears in Xiaomi cloud. I also tried to make a new account and warned me that my phone number is also connected to another account. I continued finishing the creation and tried again to unlock bootloader. The result was exactly the same, with adb and windows application too.

Surely correct but check anyway.

Edit:
Have you tried logging in this way?
My mistake. I hadn't add my account.
At last I continued the unlocking process and started the countdown.
But Sim card continues to be shown as missing in my account. Nevermind anyway...
