Hello
I've had a problem with my 5T for several months now and can't find a solution.
I have Oxygen 9.0.9, when I connect my 5T to the car radio, the "media audio" stream is always enabled.
Even when deselected (before connecting), it remains active.
The only way to exclude the stream is to activate and deactivate manually the "audio media" option whenever the connection between the car radio and my 5T occurs.
I have already done factory reset and cache wipe ... but even after the factory reset this issue remains.
What can I do?
Thanks

So I have an Eonon GA1312 Single din (RK3188).
I have been having two bluetooth issues. All have been troubleshot by disabling and enabling/deleteing data/cache of Bluetooth app, different settings and "off" in factory settings for bluetooth tab and a reload of malasyk rom after a factory reset.
Bluetooth will always show every device it sees. I have 6 Devices under "available devices". 2 I know of (game pad and OBD). 4 were because things were in range when scanning. They persist through everything. It's so weird.
Secondly, the ODB, while off is "available", but once conmected it jumps to "paired" devices and connects no problem. My game pad (nes30 pro to test the viability of bluetooth media control without buying one) is there whether in range, on, or not, and if I try to connect, I tap it, I am asked if I want to connect, and it does nothing.
My cellphones connect fine.
I read all over about some bluetooth limitations but found nothing documented on tje wiki or in the forum.
Any help? Sorry if repost, I thought I made a thread but it says it isn't there and I have no move/deleted notices.
Bump for justice.
Bluetooth pairings "forgotten" with car and Huwawei watch - stock Marshmallow
I have an M8 that I recently returned to stock. It's locked but S-OFF, but is otherwise running T-Mobile stock - latest Marshmallow updates. No especially weird programs running either.
I am having ongoing Bluetooth issues. When in my car, the watch and car seem to compete for the connection, with one or both disconnecting or failing to connect in the first place. Additionally, my bluetooth pairings are routinely lost and I'm re-prompted to pair with either/both devices. No particular pattern to either.
I have un-paired, re-paired, cleared cache and reset my watch to factory settings and reset all the bluetooth connections on my car. Still happening. The one thing I have not tried is a factory reset of my phone - I hate having to go through the whole setup process again.
Is this a problem others are having? Is there a fix?
Since a couple of weeks my phone does not play audio through any carkit I tried. The Bluetooth settings had the play media audio checked on, but not the play telephone audio option. When I want to choose that option I simply can't. It is immediately unchecked again.
Tried reset cache, new pairing, unknown carkit, change phonename, factory reset, several Bluetooth managers but I am out of options. Does somebody else have?

i've got this too. i recently updated a whole bunch of google stuff and i can't check the 'phone audio checkbox' in android 6.0 in multiple bluetooth devices--car, speaker, and hands-free kit. i'm pretty sure it was caused by a google update of some kind. i miss my windows phone so much right now.
ok, i just uninstalled android pay and the bluetooth phone audio works. i need to test it more to see if that was the issue.
The situation is:
If I use a custom rom such as lineage 15.1 or Pixel experience or Nitrogen or any other, I have no problems pairing with my car system, and after initial pairing the phone auto reconnects without problems .
The problem is when I hit a "No service" area the car displays "No service" and when I am back in an area with service the car still displays "No Service" but the phone displays that I have service.
I have tried all the different setting in developer mode "AVRCP version, 1.3, 14., 1.5 and 1.6" and none of these seem to help. Restarting bluetooth on the phone solves the problem until I hit another "No Service" area.
If I use the latest MIUI development or Stable, it looks like the "No Service" problem is fixed. The problem I now have is that after initial pairing, then phone never auto reconnects. I always have to go to my car settings and disable it from trying to connect to my phone and then manually connect the phone to the car. I also have this problem when using stock android on MI A2 Lite.
My car is an 2108 Elantra and there is no firmware upgrade available
Thanks
Someone else found a solution for the MIUI reconnect problem:
Not allowed to post URL (it is in elantra forum, "hyundai-forums.com/ad-2017-elantra/641829-bluetooth-w-android-8-x-oreo-re-linking-issues.html") , but the solution is:
In the car unit Bluetooth settings I renamed it from "ELANTRA" to "Elantra", and did a new paring, and now reconnect works every time. Seems unbelievable that an all caps BT name causes all these problems.
Still wondering why custom ROMS have the "No Service" problem ?
Hi folks.
Does anyone have problems with bluetooth after the MIUI 14 update? The headphones lose connection even when turning the head slightly and the smartwatch is always disconnected. I tried the devices on another device and they work as they should.
I have already factory reset the device and reset the network settings.
Thanks in advance.
Firmvare: MIUI Global 14.0.1.0 (TLDEUXM)
I'm facing same issue, no solution though
I have also the same disconnections Bluetooth error
Don't have any issues on same firmware. Try to reset your connections settings. Wi-Fi passwords will be lost in this case.

After the last update my phone wont connect to car via BT. Older phones works great. Connecting settings restart and clearing BT cache did not help.
Mine connects to the car Bluetooth and music works well, but on phonecalls. I get disconnected or people say they don't hear me properly.
There is definitely an issue.
I found a solution on a german speaking forum: goingelectric.de
