Hi, Everyone,
Pixel 4 remove fingerprint sensor, but most of app did not update to newest biometrics api yet.
I build this module to proxy old fingerprint api to biometrics api .
You can use FaceID just like fingerprint.
Here is github link,
You should build apk by your self, it much safer.
but if you want buy me a coffee, here is google play link.
Hope you guys like it.
QA
Q. Is this module safely?
A. First, this app didn't have network permission. It can not send anything out.
Fingerprint api and biometrics api just receive authenticate request from app and tell app is authenticate success or not.
App will not sent any your data to those api.
Q. Magisk module
A. Use pure magisk to implement this feature need much work. I will working on it but it won't release soon.
This is actually a great idea until all the apps get the face is support. But how is the app i dont see any reviews on play store to?

It works, I just tried it. That being said...I won't use it because of the security flaw in face unlock. Great app, great idea, Google needs to fix things on their end.

Excuse me? Do you not even understand the reasoning behind this? It's to prevent people from using this site to advertise their paid apps, using XDA to make money off of THEIR userbase.
How would you like it if every rom was paid? If every root method was paid? This community is about giving to each other, not for profit.
I do believe in donating to those who deserve it don't get me wrong, but that's not what this community was founded upon.
If you don't like the rules then you're welcome to leave.

Well then, that's up to the moderators to actually do their job and not to enforce an absolutist mentality. Personally, whether someone advertises their paid app here or somewhere else, the bottom line is to help the end user. So, by saying you need to post a free version actually inhibits quite a dew devs from sharing their work here, for that exact reason. Same goes for posting TG links. This site is supposed to help people as a whole, not dictate what they determine to be viable outlets. Leave that to the users to decide. I cant tell you how many well known devs are sick and tired of xda and their antiquated rules. Which is a shame, cuz they are actually pushing good devs away.
Would get in a heart beat if it was magisk. I don't use exposed nor do I want to.
Please make for magisk and I'm all over this. Would even pay double!
This is great! Works perfectly

If you have any concern, you can review source code and build apk by your self.
Paid apps are not permitted.
However, there is a paid software section but posting there requires that certain criteria are met.

Does anybody know of an app that will allow our rooted Pixels and Pixel XLs to capture any screen - including ones like bank app screens, pharmacy app screens, etc.? I think I had this on my HTC 10, but maybe it was accomplished via XPosed. Thanks!

Apologies. I only just realised now when I tried on a credit card app.
Yep. One of my recent phones had development for an app that would capture anything. Pharmacies, credit cards, banks, etc. won't work with the normal process.
I would never take this risk.. if you allow and app to take screenshots of sensitive apps the can virtually steal all your information as your giving it overlay permissions. There is a reason why is not allowed. And I wouldn't recommend you use a third party app and give them the power to look over all your sensitive information..

I understand the risk. I'm not talking about doing this on a daily basis. It's just handy NOT to have the limitation. It has been done, and I think I used it on my HTC 10. Maybe it was via Xposed like I said earlier. What's the likelihood we can do Xposed on the Pixels soon?

I simply tell him to ignore it since it's their only skill, which mean people who do a SPAM on xposed progress will be more likely far from building xposed by self.

yes, you are right. I was also thinking about the huge "mod-scene" .. as shown in XDAlabs-APP... Will all these people:
- be stuck on OREO?
- abandon their beloved mods and move on to PIE - the land of no Xposed-Mods ?
I must admit that I am still on OREO with my OnePlus6 BECAUSE I would have to bury some of my mods.........yes, you can laugh at me...but I am that strange
Any changes so far? Or still nothing? :crying:
Xposed Pie
The reason many people want to know when Xposed for Pie is available is because lots of other decisions are contingent on this. Pie is out, the Pixel 3 XL and 6T are out. Should I buy these, root, update, etc.? I am still using Oreo on my Pixel 2XL. I would rather wait until Xposed for Pie is ready, and then execute all those actions. UNLESS... Rovo dies and we are all doomed... I wish this wasn't so dependent on one person. This is kind of ridiculous. But once you get addicted to the options...

Even if this is for XPosed, i would recommend you Magisk
Magisk is already available and works perfectly. Root is working, everything's fine.
I'm using xposed edge pro, this is enough reason not to update to pie. Anyone using this mod knows what I mean, nothing in pie or any normal apk comes close to what this mod alone offers.
Infact edge pro has sort of ruined my excitement for your average app because I'm finding that it can do just about everything especially when you dig deep into it.

I'm confused. Can i use Magisk for Xposed modules? I already have used Magisk for rooting the device. The issue is you need Xposed framework to install the modules. E.g. Is it possible to install GravityBox with Magisk? Thanks for the clarification.

I've no idea why people are comparing Magisk and Xposed. Two tools for completely different purposes. No, you cannot get the functionality of GravityBox with Magisk.

I agree. I don't get why it's so frowned upon to discuss the development, even though non of us have anything since Rovo has gone radiosilent. If nothing else, it shows that there's a demand, no? I personally was a little while was staying back on Oreo with my OP6 because of my Xposed mods, but seeing as the development seems so dead, it seems easier to just get un-used to the options that Xposed brings.

Hey all,
I hadn't launched my CCSWE app manager for a few days so I did and it prompted me to activate Samsung Knox. I tapped on Activate but it gives me error and I can't proceed to manage apps.
Also, I tried uninstalling but it says I need to deactivate first.

Hello guys,
I found a way to solve part of the problem ... You need to reinstall the same version of CCSWE APP MANAGER via apk, that way, all applications and services modified by it return to their original state. However, the Samsung knox problem remains in the application and it is not yet possible to use it.
I hope this helps!
It is obvious that Samsung revoked the developer's commercial activation key...
Cat and mouse game - that's what's going on here.

Maybe they’ve updated some of Knox’s security policy terms that no longer fit the app’s membership terms.
But I'm not sure.
or they decided they dont want an app using their apis to disable apps/features on the device
Yep mailed to the developer and got same response mail that deactivated their license. Waiting for a solution or an alternative app.
Package disabler pro still seems to work ok. Yes the developer is a bit of a money grabber with all the new versions but it does work.
Failing that the adb route will work.

It's something that was being developed months ago, it makes your device search for devices in the background periodically for potentially COVID-19 infected people.
If someone is infected, they have to report it on their phone and it flags other users around if you're near someone who had/has COVID-19 or not.
It uses Bluetooth

Its a framework. That means, apps sit on top on the frame ... like building a house, you need a base ( frame ) . This " Base" lets others build whatever house they want on top ... the actual "base" does nothing, how do I know... its a framework. if you are so paranoid, stop all you're google, amazon frameworks and see what happens, spoilers, your phone won't work. Next, stop all the frameworks in windows if you use that .. spoilers, it won't work ....then put everything into a box and leave it there
