Could somebody with Pie and a battery mod please let me know whether you can turn off the mod in the mod's settings? Apparently this setting was introduced in Oreo....
I've yet to buy a battery mod but would like to check charging of the Z2F can be stopped without physically removing the mod. Thanks.

Need help from those that are familiar with creating themes. I'm not that experienced but trying to learn as much as possible.
Anyways, trying to change battery icon on Sense based rom (3.70) which comes packaged with horizontal battery. Tried changing notifications and battery to vertical type. After flashing, battery only appears if usb cable in either plugged in or not plugged in (have had it happen both ways). After unplugging the icon just disappears. Had this happen after changing to a circular battery as well.
Question is, what do I need to change along with battery icons to make this work?
Thanks.

hi all
although there are some how-to already, i wanna show you an alternative way to remove the icon, plus the notification sound and screen on when the battery is fully charged if you want to
details here: http://ykkfive.blogspot.com/2011/10/remove-battery-fully-charged.html
tested on KI8, but should work with other versions

there r some tutorials talking about this mod in this forum, just search for them and they can be found easily
i persnoally prefer the way i posted here (although i've made some more modifications to the files), since it's clear enough (i think), and it's more flexible. u can choose to disable the icon while leaving the sound notification enabled for instance.
for me, i disabled the screen on and icon, i want the alert sound only
Thank you ykk_five so much!
I successfully removed the battery fully charged notification icon and sound. However even I had deleted the line
invoke-direct {p0}, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/policy/StatusBarPolicy;->turnOnScreenWithForce()V
I still got screen turned on for a couple of seconds. I suspect that the turned on screen was also invoked somewhere else.

Hey,
I changed my FreedomOS 1.7 to 2.1.
Singe Nougat isnt supported yet by xposed i cant use my beloved gravitybox to change the battery icon to circle percentage. (I know i can add the percentage number next to the battery icon with nougats default settings, but its just a waste of space and doesnt look nice).
Also id love to remap the hardware buttons. The default options are not what i need. Want to pop menu with single press app switch and kill apps with long press "back".
All these things i were able to do with gravitybox :/
Hardware button remap maybe isnt done that easy i guess, but percentage battery should be still doable with a flashable zip if i remember right from the old days.
Anybody got any links for me or something? Guess i cant flash any percentage battery zips thats are not made for op3 and oos4. (Correct me if im wrong)
Noone? :/

My only recommendation is to go back to Freedom OS v1.7 until OnePlus releases sources for Nougat kernel.

Hello,
it is really annoying
I have not found a suitable app to modify the status bar yet.
You can, however, set the DPI setting (minimum width) higher in the developer options.
So everything gets smaller and it fits more in the status bar.

Hi guys,
I just updated my Mi A2 Lite to the latest Android P version (v10.0.2.0) from Android Oreo.
At the end so far so good, but... for my OCD I have a very annoying issue.
It's a bit hard to explain that, but let's try:
In my status bar, by default, I have: Battery + %, 2 SIM Signals + WiFi + Do Not Disturb
In Oreo all good, but apparently Pie added the WiFi up/down network activities "arrow" and every time those arrows come out, basically auto hide my "Do Not Disturb" icon and replace with a small dot.
You can see it inside my 2 screenshot.
As I said, this is for me it's super annoying because my eyes are distract from the status bar that keep changing every seconds.
First of all, that happen to you guys? And doesn't annoying you?
I tried to use UI Tuner, but it seems working only with few icons, not with WiFi icon.
Do you know some tool (root) that can remove maybe the 2nd sim signal? Or maybe remove the network activities.
No idea... I just want my Oreo status bat back
Any idea?
Really appreciated and thanks!

Until then, only with the user interface tuner. I do not know anything that works with root.
If you deactivate the percentage of the battery is already gaining space and if the do not disturb is disabled, you will gain more space yet.

Use "UI Tuner Launcher"
You can download it from Play Store
Same problem for me, biggest grip with Pie
Has anyone find its solution ?
Because i noticed this after upgrading to pie (on oreo the dual sim signal indicator stack one over another)
Can't we mod or just have like oreo?
I can get battery percentage with System UI tuner (Nova launcher), but...hehe...I can see now %
But alarm icon, wifi/data icon and 1st SIM icon gone under little dot.
This is really frustrating.
And 1 more thing after PIE upgrading: there is no alarm icon and time on lock screen (when alarm is on).
Pie it's not an upgrade...for me look like downgrade.
EDIT: all fine now with lock screen...by itself somehow
Having the same problem. Statusbar icons dis- and reappearing every few seconds, why someone thought this is a good design choice is beyond my understanding.
Has someone found a solution yet?
Good Morning,
I have a doubt, I hope you can help me; I would like to know if it is possible to customize AOD, specifically to remove the battery percentage; I come from an S7 Edge and with Oreo and there I did it with Substratum and a layer of peronzalization.
Does anyone know another method?
Or if this method still works?
Thank you
Try looking "Setting, Notifications, Status bar".
