Hi all,
I got some time and tested this newest Beta Color OS Kitkat 2.0.32 Beta from latest Official Chinese ColorOS Forum. This is for Find 7 and Find 7a
Some cool new features are added compared to Official international ColorOS KitKat 2.0.0. More info on this link Note its on chinese use a website translator.
These are the changes I made:
* Completely deleted all Chinese apps.
* Pre-rooted
* Integrated gapps nano
* set default language to English
* + all the updated features of ColorOS KitKat 2.0.32 Beta

Added new "wallpaper and lock screen" setting interface:
1. Go to "Settings → Display → wallpaper and lock screen", you can preview the current (lock screen & desktop) wallpaper, display more intuitive
2. Click on "select new wallpaper" wallpaper classification preview visible, choose a more relaxed
3. Press the Menu button on the desktop, click on the "wallpaper" option in the "more options", jump directly to the wallpaper selection interface, no pop-up dialog, experience more convenient and comfortable
[Desktop wallpaper blur]
Optimize the settings to move, "double-click the desktop space to activate wallpaper fuzzy" to the next "wallpaper and lock screen" setting, easier to find and use
[Locker]
New slide to unlock the phone / information application shortcut icon
1. From the application shortcut icons can enter the corresponding location on the slide interface
2, the shortcut icon can display missed calls / unread SMS notification
3, after the slide to unlock the phone directly View unread / unread messages
Optimization password lock screen interface redesign
1, optimizing patterns password interface, allowing more convenient one-hand operation
2, optimizing complex password interface
3, the new animation for each error code interface, giving users more explicit feedback
[O + desktop]
Optimization of small desktop mode (O + desktop) optimization:
1, the free weather effects thumbnail sorting optimization (no effect is displayed in the front, associated with weather terminology to "associated with the current weather.")
2, the exclusive page has been added is again clicked to jump to a corresponding small desktop exclusive pages, and the prompt ", the page has been added."
[Folders]
All applications will be housed amendment to a folder, restart the phone after the folder icon to sort the problem of disorder

Requirements:
1. TWRP Recovery - preferably 2.8.0.1
2. Kakulay 1.1 or ColorOS 2.0.0 Kitkat OS previously installed
3. If coming from 4.3 based ROMs or an original android dev ROMs (CM, omni, pa, nameless etc.). Flash first the baseband modem logo package of Kitkat 2.0.0.
4. Guts to try the new features of ColorOS Kitkat. lol
Procedure:
1. Backup your current ROM
2. Download ROM here.
3. Copy in sdcard (preferably external SD)
4. Boot in TWRP recovery.
5. Factory reset.
6. Flash this Beta ROM
7. Enjoy the ROM.
Please note this is still in beta.

it would be great if you can add those Chinese staffs as an add-on for people who need it. I'm one of those.

great,so we have to flash twice if we need the chinese stuff?

Factory reset, clean install , everything works great it seems, but not security center, vwhen setting apps to startup, eg. Apex, kernel tweaker, sidebar, etc. Nothing get granted super user at boot, even though super su 2..16 is updated, and su working fine else! ?
Tried copy su xbin to bin like before but makes no difference, nothing starts up?
But it's definiatly smoother and faster overall, than previous version
Any idea what to do about autostart?

1) Not able to change the lockscreen wallpaper
2)double tapping on the home button to lock the screen doesnt work.
3)not able to use the blur effect on the home screen wallpaper
Liked the new camera app, it looks cool waiting for a bug free version

Off course not, none would be on cos, if camera/maxaudio just was a copy apk to system/app/folder. ..sorry bro!
But try yourself, dl zip copy it from system/app folder to your own system and see !
Will test this later. I tested the other repack on OPPO forum but there were 3 issues.
Supersu don't work.. Need kinguser
Need to add prefix to telephone number for sms to be recognized
Switchr app doesn't work!
With this one I had endless FC's of Google Play Services...did two clean installs always ended in FC-loop. With the other repack from Oppo forum SuperSU works for me, didn't flash Kingroot.
Tested. Switchr not working.... Reverted back to v1.1.

I am also getting endless FC for Google Play Service. This only happened after I enabled Location for Google apps.

I guess the pa gaaps nano is not compatible with chinese kitkat Cos. I will test if the google apks from Cos kitkat international if it will work.
1. "Unfortunately, Phone has stopped" - I can't make calls with this repack (X9006). (If you have this problem you can make calls via the Contacts app or a different Dial app)
2. Camera - The only mode available for me is Normal, when I click Add only a blank Plugin Playstore window opens up - I can't download any other modes...

3. Camera - Voice Shot is not working
4. Google Location service and GPS causes "Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped" error message to appear over and over again - it literally blocks you from doing anything with the phone.
5. Security Center - App Encryption is not working - if you encrypt/decrypt any app it does not get saved - it stays encrypted or not encrypted.
6. YouTube is bugged - you cannot play any video

I'm using Chinese KK ColorOS, not this one but official one, with pa nano gapps with no issues on my x9007.

This is a cry for help, from me and the other NOOBs out here, new to the theming world with no idea where to begin.
I started out with a problem. I hate the UI on my Note Edge Lollipop, as compared to the stock Lollipop ASOP UI. I started about trying to change the entire UI (icons, menus, fonts, notification drawer, app drawer etc) to stock AOSP Lollipop UI. I am not rooted.
I AM LOST. No idea which guide to follow. Don't want to change my launcher. I would prefer not to root, would prefer not to void my warranty, would just prefer to screw around as less as possible while getting as close to stock Lollipop as possible.
And I know there are others around me. So here I am, on behalf of the noobs, requesting all experts to provide a starting point from where to begin changing the UI - completely, with as little messing around as possible. Not just to AOSP but to any other UI that someone else might prefer. Please explain this to us like we are 3 year olds.
1) Options for those who are Not Rooted.
2) Options for those who are Rooted.
Ps. This will not work if only the experts contribute. Everyone here who has something to contribute please do!
Ps. Mods I looked and searched for days. I know there are guides out there but I wanted something Note Edge and Lollipop specific.
As my contribution. I love the work that this Dev has done for the Note 4. But don't know if this will work on our devices. Also Im not rooted yet.

The new TouchWiz on the S6 has themes. Pray that they port it over to us and any other features it has like they used to do before with those Experience updates during the S3 and Note 2 periods...
Mate, there isn't actually a lot you can do for theming without rooting your device. Most themes replace icons in the system files which is impossible to access without root or without being officially supported by Samsung...
The only real way to theme your un-rooted Note Edge is to change the launcher and theme that...
My wishes seem to have been answered within a week. The new Samsung themes app is all we need. Let's hope we get it fast.

Lollipop Touchwiz Theme
Here is themes app for Lollipop touchwiz http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/themes-apps/touchwiz-theme-lollipop-note-4-t3037891. I tryed and it worked. Just don`t flash the zip (that makes your touchwiz home to FC). Just extract the zip and copy all content of zip`s system folder in your devices system folder as it is in zip, except Toucwiz home. Reboot and all done. Now you can change touchwiz themes as you like

So, does your edge notifications still work?
I tried to get a few things changed but after messing with my system folders I lost all edge notifications...
I also opened the system file, did you realise you're installing Apex launcher onto your Note Edge? I already own the pro version of this. In the System>App folder it actually says Apex Pro meaning this could be considered as Warez, if it actually is the pro version...

Yes, notifications works just fine. And i noticed that Apex launcher too. I deleted it so i doesn`t have any clue is it pro or not. I`m not the developer of this, I just pointed you out how you can use themes

The contacts, mms, and settings zips all work on N915G NK4 KITKAT. Framework zip makes xpossd and some modules FC.
The SettingsGoogle and SystemUIGoogle apps from the leaked dumps require Android 7.1 (API 25).
I changed my build.prop to 25 (on Nougat 7.0 really) and attempted to install them- the packages were valid but they had the same package as the existing versions.
If I replaced the system versions with these, could it work? Or does there need to be more work (decompiling/changing the required version to 24/recompiling like was done with the Live earth wallpapers APK) before these will run?
EDIT: Since I changed the build.prop Pixel Launcher (installed as system along with PixelLauncherIcons.apk) crashes on launch, along with Google Keyboard and Clock in certain situations. Reverting the build.prop is not fixing this, and uninstalling PixelLauncherIcons did not affect it either. This might be a problem.
In order to fix the Pixel Launcher issue you will need to reflash the rom.
As for the first issue those system ui apps will most likely have to be decompiled and recompiled like the live earth wallpapers because we are probably missing libs.

I'm running stock Nougat 7.0. What's the issue that requires a reflash?
I don't know exactly what the issue is with it. I was in the same situation as you with the Pixel Launcher where I changed the build.prop and I tried to change the SDK version back to 24 but it kept force closing, so I just reflashed the whole system image and reinstalled the Pixel Launcher through TWRP and it worked again.

I signed the APK with different key, you need to remove all previous versions to be able to install it. Placing it as a system app also enables you Google Now in the left panel.

The first time you try to open the app it will forcefully exits. Give it one minute and try to open it, then it should be working.

Uninstall the pixel launcher with system app remover and install this app.
because the signature is different in this app that's why its conflicting.
Pixel launcher
Currently I am using Android Nougat 7.1.1, the problem is when I try to install pixel launcher in my device. it gives me an error something like "can't download now" except this all other apps are downloading in my device.
What could be the reason of getting same error again and again. Please let me know, if anyone knows the solution.

I recently update all my system files, but I prefer the older launcher, which has the Google Search bar on the far bottom. Anyone knows how to rollback to the older Version 8. Latest update is 11.2.
