Hi all,
Total beginner question... I have searched and searched and cannot find a way to revert my s4 mini back to the stock firmware from a custom rom. Every time I try to install the firmware via odin I just get secure check fail : aboot error.
I had installed a custom rom via TWRP and have tried everything to get the device back to a state to just install a samsung firmware?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hey guys ... I had a new GS3 from Samsung, so it had 4.3. I flashed a 4.1 stock ROM via Odin, but now when I turn on the phone, I get constant messages about various android processes failing and needing to be stopped. I have since tried another stock ROM and the same thing is happening. Does anyone have any idea what I should do? Maybe flash the latest stock ROM to go back to 4.3? I was trying to revert so I could root and flash a custom ROM but I can't do anything on this right now. I can get back into Download mode though. Please explain things as best as possible as, as you can tell, I clearly don't understand this.
I managed to use the root toolkit to install TWRP, but no custom roms I flash get past the boot screen. So I can get into TWRP and I can get into download mode. I have Odin and I'm not sure where to go from here.
I need urgent help:
I was with Custom Rom, 4.4, MK4, etc.
Turns out I tried to change the recovery, and had a system error.
So I decided to flash the Stock Rom with Odin v3.09 (India stock Rom 4.3)
And now my phone does not pass the logo of Samsung, does not start.
Any hints what I should do to get my device ? I need help.

Edit:
I read in other post: enter in recovery (before flashed stock rom) and wipe all.
I did, and phone restart. All ok now.
Thanks XDA.

Hello, I got a Tmobile Samsung S3 with 4.3 I want to start installing custom roms, where do I start? First, I need to root it, then what do I do next?
ALso, I tried to find some guides, but there 4.3 or below ersions. And the phone I bought it on ebay was with 4.3 official firmware.
No root needed. Just flash custom recovery with Odin, reboot straight to recovery before system boot, and flash your ROM. Procedure hasn't changed since
Hello,
my samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (p5210) for some reason reports various errors when I try to install custom ROM's using recovery menu. I already many of the ways of fixing these issues, Tried a few recovery menus, hard to find for this model as they are not officially supported. I'm currently downloading a stock ROM and I'm going to flash it usiing Odin.
Is it possible to bypass the recovery menu and flash a CUSTOM ROM (not a stock one) using Odin or some other program, connecting my tablet to pc in the bootloader mode?
There are a few posts regarding this issue but in every post people are getting answers where to get official stock firmware files for Odin. I want to flash a custom ROM that came in a .zip package.
Hey guys,
so I installed CyanogenMod using TWRP on my phone but it wasn't working properly so I went back to TWRP again and wiped /data. After that I opened up SmartSwitch so that I can do an emergency recovery but that also didn't work because it said that the "GT-I9195 doesn't support Initialisation".
Then I downloaded a random stock rom for the S4 mini LTE since I don't know what the official carrier of my phone is and tried to flash it but it got stuck on "system.img.ext4".
Now I can't even reinstall CM via sideload or flash a stock rom (don't know what the official Region/Carrier code of the phone is)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Go to SamMobile download firmware for your device. Flash it via odin
