Galaxy Buds with Note 10+ and Iphone 11 - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

What's up guys it's been over a year since I've last posted... Anyway has anyone figured out how to pair the buds so they will works on multiple devices? I had a par of airpods and I could switch back and forth between phones without having to repair. I have to carry 2 phones daily for work reasons, and it's annoying not being able to use my buds for both. I ended up buying a second pair of Galaxy Buds.

Bluetooth earphones

Hi,
Anyone can recommend a good bluetooth earphones?
For a long flight, I thought this can be handy for watching movies.
I am not looking for the best sound quality, but something small and flawless. No problem with pairing and connecting.
Thanks

I have Jaybird Freedoms and I love them! Easy connection and work really well for workouts and exercising. They can get loud to block out noisy places.

Motorola s11's are great head phones. They'll link up easy with my nexus 7 and look good. You can find them on eBay a lot cheaper than stores like best buy. I paid $45 for them with shipping new.

I love the S11, though I wish the N7 use apt-x (like my Razr M). But even without, it's the best BT headset I have ever owned.
DO be careful with eBay purchases of them though. Motorola issued a redesign of them a few months ago because the initial bath has an issue where the main band will crack in the middle over time. The new sets have a new material that does not have the issue. You can check by looking under the USB cover for a stamped 'R' above the version number.
I have the Moto S10. Seem less bulky then the S11. Pairs without problem. I bought mine for like $10 on a sale site.

I have a pair of LG Tone HBS700 as well as a pair of moto S305's. Both work fine though i prefer the Tone better since i wear glasses and over the ear headsets put a bit of pressure on my ears. LG has an updated set called the Tone+ but as Coronado is dead mentioned the N7 doesn't use APT-X, and since I have read some complaints over a shorter range on the +'s compared to the regular Tone, the regular ones are a better deal and work well on the N7. They sit on your collarbone and have small earbuds coming out of them that magnetically stick back in to the headset when they're not in use.
SONY Headset Wireless Pro (now is a new model out) is also good. I use it with my Sony XPERIA S AND Nexus 7 at same time. It has multipoint connection, so you can wath videos on Nexus 7 and when a call is coming in, it switched automaticly to the phone. You can use this headset also as FM-Radio and mp3 player.
I have Motorola S10-HD, and absolutely LOVE it!! I bought mine a while back from 1 Sale a Day for $25 or $30(don't remember). Didn't even realize it could be used for phone calls when I bought it, I bought it simply for media. I've used it with my Note 2 for many phone calls, and no one knew I wasn't talking directly in to the phone until I told them. I have it paired with my Note 2, Evo LTE, Asus Infinity, and N7 FHD. I can switch between devices with ease, and battery life is great! I've never killed the battery before, just charge it once a week so it isn't ever dead when I want to use it! Definitely the BEST BlueTooth headset I've ever owned, and I've been buying a new one once a year for about 10 years!! I'm so pleased and impressed with the S10-HD that I've been looking at buying the Motorola S11 Flex HD now, and start using the S10-HD just while I'm cutting grass.

Nokia BH-905i
I have one of these for almost 2 years now and it looks like new... Good sound, good construction quality, it haves a purse, acessories to plug to a phone or mp3 (without bluetooth) and it haves active noise reduction. Works like a headset also...

Here is what the Motorola S10-HD looks like. The band goes around the back of your neck. If fit correctly, the band really doesn't even sit on your neck, it just kinda hovers/floats. I often just rest it around my neck when I'm not listening to it. It is super lightweight and I'll forget it's there a lot of times.

If you've enjoyed the S10-HD, I definitely recommend the S11 Flex HD. Just keep in mind that you won't want to go back to the S10, even for cutting grass... The S11 brings vast improvements in sound for music/media, is much better balanced (physically), and is great for calls like the S10 (I have owned both).
@gogol if you haven't done so already, be sure to check with the airlines you use to see if Bluetooth headsets are permitted in flight before you buy. Some airlines are happy to sell you WiFi access but won't let you get away with Bluetooth.

Cool, glad to know there's a vast improvement. I'm happy with the S10-HD, so anything better sounding will be awesome!
Lol, I'll still use the S10-HD when I'm cutting grass. I think I'll be able to deal with the inferior sounding of the the two for a couple of hours, just to be able to keep my S11 Flex HD clean an flawless!

The S11 doesn't seem to be a big enough of improvement to warrant $100 when my S10 work just fine. The S11 also seems like there are more areas to cause issues like cracking or tangles.
Good to know there are no issues though.

Which model of the S11?
I'm not sure, as I haven't looked at them too much, but I believe there is the S11, S11 HD, S11 Flex, and then also S11 Flex HD. Not sure on that, just what I was thinking. I know there were some issues with the band cracking on one of the models, but I believe that Motorola released a revised version. Maybe the Flex HD is the revised version/model that resolves the cracking issue? I'm intrigued now, guess it's time for me to start searching an reading.

There are only 2 models readily: the S11 and the S11 Flex HD. Only differences are the degrees of adjustability and color if I recall correctly.

LG Tone+
I've owned both the Motorola S10 and S11 headphones. The first pair I had bought was about 2 years ago and I loved them but dropped them in the toilet. Then I bought the S11 model which was just a good but eventually the power button stopped working on them. I ended up breaking them trying to fix the button myself. The power button was somewhat of a common issue and there was a DIY fix online that I tried. Just recently though I went with the LG Tone+ headset, and these I absolutely love! The Motorola ones never sat well in my ears and weren't that loud. The LG ones are great because they're like regular ear buds, you can really get them inside of your ear. If you're going on a flight I would highly recommend the LG. They will provide much better noise cancellation. The only con with the LG pair is the wire for the ear buds. They could easily be ripped off if you're not careful.
I'm super happy with my Plantronics Backbeat Go 2.
I'm using the LG Electronics Tone+ HBS-730 Bluetooth Headset. Works great with my Mac, iPhone, and Nexus7.

+1 for LG Tone+
I use the LG Tone+ as well and I absolutely love it. I had a Sony HBS older model and I absolutely hated them for having no depth in the audio. Some songs sounded horrid. LG Tone+ are a breath of fresh air. They are in-ear earphones and fit nicely in the ear canal. Instead of keeping them around my neck, I rest them under my Shirt's collar. I can't even feel them. I have them paired to my Nexus 7, my Galaxy S3 and my work phone.
Tone+ also have inbuilt presets (which can be activated by pressing the volume up down buttons simultaneously). I use these quite a lot too. Some people prefer to keep the default preset active and use the equalizers on the phone.
I love the Tone+ and would highly recommend it.

Galaxy buds with Pixel 2(XL)?

I'm pretty tempted to buy some wireless earbuds, and while the Galaxy buds lack apt-x support, they still look good on paper imo.
I've been browsing through reviews the past few days, and some say that the Galaxy buds don't really with that well with non-Samsung phones, while others say they've been having trouble with pairing or having stable connection.
Is there anyone with Pixel 2 and have already got the Galaxy buds hands-on? Please share your thoughts about them, would appreciate any opinions or advices
I've had the Galaxy Buds but I wasn't that impressed. Never liked the controls and there were some call quality issues on my Pixel 2 and 2xl. I'd recommend the Jabra Elite 65t or Jabra Elite 65t active. The 65t (IP55) and 65t active (IP56) are more dust and water resistant than the Galaxy Buds (IPX2). The 65t also has controls that are easier to use, better mics for call quality and has a more secure fit. Both have BT 5.0, quick charge and very good audio quality but the 65t has more options in the app like EQ settings and pre installed sounds to help relax or focus.

I'd not be really bothered about the controls or mic quality (since I don't voice chat much), though sound quality would definitely matter. Tho considering they are like 30% more expensive in price, do you think the pros are worth the price tag?
Thanks for your advice man

I do think the 65t is worth the price difference, especially if used for working out. Personally I'd say the combination of audio quality (better than Galaxy Buds), intuitive controls, more app features, higher IP rating and 2 year warranty puts the 65t in the category above the Galaxy Buds. However, the Galaxy Buds do have some advantages like wireless charging, USB type C and smaller/ lighter (earbuds and case).

I have Galaxy Buds with my Pixel 2 Xl already for 2 months. I like the sound quality and the Samsung application which has some settings for Buds. But I met a problem with them, no matter what phone you have. There are some connection problem when you cover with your hand your phone in the pocket. I saw that many users have this problems, and I really don't know if it can be fixed by an update.

AirPods alternative

Hello,
long time iPhone user here, last year i have been using the Airpods with my XS MAX that i sold.
I am looking for some "airpods equivelant" for my Samsung device (i got S10 and Note 10+)...i have unsuccesfully tried the Samsung Galaxy Buds, i am very dissapointed because the call quality which is the most important thing to me is not good at all, cant even compare it to the airpods...
So, what bluetooth would you recommend for everyday use, with good call quality so i can talk ?? I wouldn't like something like the old style bluetooth like Plantronics etc, i am looking for something fresh like Airpods, Galaxy Buds etc style

I recommend the Sabbat E12. The sound quality and call quality are very good for the price.

I second this if call quality is your #1 reason. Excellent sound quality and the fact they stay in your ears even during the harshest of exercises is an excellent bonus.
I've had mine for almost a year and I can't complain about them, although the Elite 75t just got announced (will be out next month for $199; the 75t's are 20% smaller with 2 more hours (7.5 hours vs 5.5 hours) of battery life are the biggest differences).
Why not just keeping using your AirPods? I go back and forth between my S10+ and iPhone X regularly without any issues. From what I've seen, the AirPods pretty much outperform any alternatives in the same class.

Agreed. Sabbat E12 are fantastic even if they were twice the price.

Question what is your pixel ear buds can we get some pics

what is your earbuds for the pro i want to see pics
Pixel buds A. No need pics
Pixel Buds A. Check Google Store for pics.
Pixel buds
Pixel Buds A-series. I like them much better than my Samsung Buds+.
Some WF-1000XM4
Galaxy buds...but mine won't play any sound when connected.
I bought Pixel a buds with my 6 pro. I have a bt transceiver that rocks a long ways so I don't have to carry my phone when doing sweaty exercise, I can listen to music. The buds were too stupid to pair with my device, even though all my other bt phones will. In addition, my years old Tozo Tr buds from Amazon blew them away sound wise. The pixel a buds sounded downright scratchy to me. Maybe they are all right for calls, but they did not meet my needs, thankfully, Google refunded me.
Sony wf-1000xm3
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2. Google it for pics
galaxy buds pro true wireless
beats fit pro.

Question OnePlus Buds Pro - worth the price?

Hi guys,
I am going to buy wireless earphones. I am OnePlus 9 pro user with A12. In that case is it worth buying OnePlus Buds Pro? It supports high quality audio codec on A12, so in router login theory it should perform great. Do you guys have some experience i 192.168.0.1 n that matter? Can you compare buds pro to other manufacturers in similar (or lower) price?
I am asking here, cause I am interested in best performance for my 9 pro.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Carlos,
I bought the buds pro a few months ago and I don't know if I was just out of luck or if the product is not worth it. On the first pair, the right earphone with active noise cancellation would emit a high-pitched background sound if there was no sound. So I proceeded with the return, the second pair same problem but on the left headset. I was very disappointed, apart from this regret the headphones sound great, are very comfortable and the cancellation does its job. Instant and well integrated pairing. But for 150 euros a really bad experience. I also returned the second pair.
I they need more reviews...I would compare to others.

Are you using bucks gear from aliexpress? GLHF then
No. I use bone conduction heaphones.
I listen more than 8 hours a day, at work. And my ears dont hurt from music or from headphones.
For about two months, I've been utilising the buds z. They are perfect for my needs. I use them primarily to listen to music and view videos. For me, the ability to switch seamlessly between iOS and Android is a huge plus.
And if i want to good sound for my music i use Oneodio dj pro (chinese headphones over the ear with Awesome sound and Great looking).
I have all 3 - the Z, Z2 and the Pro buds. [I've also owned Airpods Pro and Airpods Gen 3.] The deciding factor is the shape of your ear IMO... if you have a hard time fitting the silicon rubber tips in your ears without them falling out, go with the Z2s. They hang in your ear as opposed to wedge in like the Pros. If you don't have a large ear canal problem, go with the Pros.
TLDR: they are all great sounding. The noise cancelation is better on the Pros than on the Z2. The sound quality is essentially the same.
Forget about the original Zs, think they've been replaced by the Z2.
I got mine for free when I bought the 10 plus. Will let you know once they arrive.
