I use Realme 5 Pro from Indonesian with Code Name RMX1971EX Installing successful without problem, if the Code name same i thinks is working. try check on menu about phone for code name.

Definitely driver or signature. Hardware of realme q and realme 5 pro should be 100% same.

Anyone know if is possible install the 5 Pro Firmware into a Realme Q?
Edit: I read now that it's not possible due to different System partition size, heck.
Is it safe to install these firmwares on the Global/EU variant? The EU download page doesn't list the Realme 5 Pro at all, despite it being available for purchase from the official EU store. I received mine yesterday with V09 preloaded, and the bright nav bar is bugging the hell out of me. No OTA update yet.

I'm guessing it is, since the Redmi 5 update has the same MD5 across both the IN and EU pages.

i'm on a locked bootloader and i can't install the global rom with the updater app, it says the it can't verify the package.
tried to do it with the edl method, but the phone doesn't show up in the device manager, probably some driver issue.
is the rom worth all the hassle?
Will this Rom work on the 128GB model? Or does it have a special version?
Does the native backup work well after I flash the global ROM from China ROM?

I only got my phone yesterday so was buzzing I could update to global ROM day 1. Like you I get the cant verify message when trying to update.
Flashing isn't an option for me as my windows laptop is a mess. It's barely functional.
Luckily I have got all the Google apps working fine on Chinese rom. It's annoying though as it shouldn't be difficult to update the ROM.
i just broke my Asus Rog 2 wondering if i buy CN Version if i can flash Global rom like we could with ASUS ROG 2... or anyone with phone should i skip and buy ASUS ROG 3 which is coming out shortly.

As with ROG2 had to change vendor fingerprint via root first just want to check i can flash straight to Global with out all the bricking that is happening. aso do you find it a good build quality?

Hi Sir Sam,
Is there any special technique for me to successfully flash Global ROM in my RM5G CN ROM? Tried this version as well but I'm stuck in 25% and an error message keeps popping up saying that the installation was aborted (something like that). Is there any setting I have to turn on or off for this to work?
I'm currently on CNCommon_v6.23

The reason its failing is because you have a later version of the rom already.
6.23 is more up to date than 4.13
If you wish to change to a lower rom you would need to flash via the recovery menu.
If it still fails, you can use the fastboot bypass method to install TWRP and flash from there instead.
If you use the bypass method you dont unlock you bootloader. And flashing the official rom via twrp will overwrite twrp after a successful flash. Making it stock once more.

Yes the rom has been released on official xiaomi.eu but not fastboot rom
So i supposed someone there has found the workaround but not made public yet

I have received 12.0.3.0 via OTA. If it has been uploaded on a site you can download zip and then install via updater (click many times on "12", then you see in 3 dots in the right corner "install package...")

Just got v4.12, non pro version
Global ROMs now available at official site.

Don't know if anybody else has had any issues. I got mine today and seems I have already bricked it. At this point all I have done was first took the OTA update. Then after that I did the Global rom, I was noticing that I couldn't see any 5ghz network. Saw that on at least earlier iterations of the Red Magic phones switching to the global rom fixed that. I downloaded the above linked rom Here I follows the instructions on the website. Place zip on the root of the file storage, go to System Update > Setting button > Local Update. That seemed to flash just fine, but when it rebooted it was doing rapid boot loops. So I booted into recovery and did a factory reset. Since then I just sit on the Redmagic logo screen. I can still get to the recovery and fastboot, and when it is plugged into a pc it mounts the virtual cdrom with the drive on it. Otherwise it does nothing.

If u have the recent January patch... u will get at the ending of january.. but there is one thing.. if u get new security patch update in case.. dont do it... then check for any update in trail version... go to settings>software update> top right settings> trail version.
if you get any updte there, open and fill the form. you will get it in few hours.

Not a fake file but mistakenly I gave the link for A09 Update(Latest based on RUI2 a11). Rui3 you can find on the telegram group. Search for the device name and join the group.
Realme UI 3.0 is limited to some users only but if you want to try you can manually install it.
