G975U is a S10+ phone
Looks like your link is active now and am downloading. How do we go about installing? Also what firmware do we need to be on? I have the Verizon S10 plus.
Thank you!

Can you flash this onto an at&t model?
Anyone tried flashing this on a Samsung factory unlocked tmo s10+? Yes it's a snapdragon model.

I think we need to wait until we have the Odin images to flash that way
I'm not sure but from checking other similar threads this zip file would need to be renamed to update.zip or ota.zip and flashed from stock recovery from the s10+ or using command via adb. to push the update.

Yes must be on BSI4. Ive been able to apply update via recovery from external sd card without naming it update.zip
Will be applying tonight after switching back to U firmware.
As you can see in the screenshot Source version is BSI4 and Target version is ZSJ8. You can find this in any ota zip by going to /SEC-INF/buildinfo.xml

Just a heads up for anyone on Verizon looking to try the beta, the update providing goofwear regarding T-Mobile is indeed compatible with Verizon wireless. Flash it either through adb sideload or sd card as mentioned and it'll boot normally. No csc or sim card tricks needed in order for service to work properly. Phone boots up fine and no issues relating service. Thanks guys and thank you goofwear!
I was able to get this going as well. So far no problems. Only been about 20 minutes though.

So im finally unofficially ln the beta. After flashing back to BSI4 U firmware which wouldnt boot(after dirty flashing twice in a row lol) i was able to just use the update zip and it booted no problem. All is good. Like the new animations so far. Will post after using it some more. On SPR without any difference in signal so far.

Can i update to beta via that update zip.I'm currently on G975USQS2ASGK
I flashed my AT&T G975U over to the U1 firmware today since the unlocked version is part of the beta program, but the beta for unlocked devices has been delayed to "a later time".
So I got a question. If I flash back to G975U1 AT&T, and then update to this beta using the update.zip file what's the situation for future OTA updates? Since AT&T is not part of the public beta they wont be pusing updates designed to update this build. So I would have to Odin back to a AT&T release right?

noob here, if i install this, can i still get future updates such as security patches? or future versions of marshmallow?
I am still on DOI2...
DOI6 files need to be installed first, right?
I used this procedure to update my Note 5 (insurance claim recently replaced my Note 4) so if you have any questions, I may be able to help. It looks like in order to use this file you'd have to be on firmware ending in 6.
Keep in mind, on the Note 5 there were a couple different updates posted on the server, so this one y'all found may not be the final update.
Also, if you use this via adb, it will wipe everything on the phone.

There needs to be a way to flash back to an official release. I haven't read through the Note 4 threads to see if there is. If there isn't a way to flash back, I wouldn't install this because if this turns out to be not the final OTA, you wouldn't be able to get the latest or future OTAs.

I think you can put this update on SD card and if you adb from SD card will not wipe your phone. On note 5 we did not have this option.

If this is not finale MM version you need to flash back to version you on now. There was no problem flashing back at all on Note 5, so I don't think there will be with Note 4.
For all others I will look for previous updates so you can update up to last official release.

Downgrade from 5.1.1 Lollipop back to 5.0.1 or 4.4.4:
The 5.1.1 “bootloader” is secured, so downgrading from Android 5.1.1 and returning back to Android 5.0.1 and or 4.4.4 is not possible anymore.

I need a full Odin package with AT&T's nougat update. I am currently on build number N920AUCU2BPE6 from
Jun, 1 2016 and I would like to upgrade to N920AUCU4EQC6.
I moved out of the USA to Europe last year. I no longer have an AT&T sim card to do an OTA upgrade. Samsung Smartswitch doesn't show any updates available. Sammobile.com doesn't even list the SM-N920A as a device option.
Can anyone help with this?
Edit: As a second thought, has anyone figured out a way to flash the Samsung official international (N920C?) rom onto an N920A...

Awesome! Thank you!
I am not clear if I need to go through several rounds of updates, or should I go directly to the latest package. Will your process wipe data on the phone? If possible I'd prefer to keep existing data. Yes I always make a backup, but not having to restore is always a convenience bonus.
Download links would be great too because I can only find the links at http://www.galaxynote5update.com/galaxy-note5-stock-firmware/ which are hosted by http://rapidgator.net
The problem there is some of the file sizes are too large to download from rapidgator as a free user. If you have a personal file server feel free to PM me the details.
I just called att and they said they couldn't push the update and that I have to go to Best buy.

Has anyone here on Verizon gotten the OREO update or do we know if Verizon is included in the beta testing? I have seen that only the SM-G955U1 firm wares have received it. Just wondering and looking for info.
You'd need to flash the unlocked firmware to get the beta.
Ive read that the beta is going to Sprint and T-Mobile only US wise...unless you register from the unlocked firmware I guess. But there may be a way to get it on verizon if they pull the update before it installs.
I read that in the US it was only Sprint and T-Mobile, and the rest of the world had to be on unlocked firmware.

Everyone, all you need to do to get the beta, on ANY us s8 or s8+
1. Odin QG1
2. Apply QG1 To QGL ota (stock recovery)
3. Apply oreo beta aka QGL to ZQJJ (stock recovery)
That's it. Proven. Confirmed. Fool proof.

I got this to work on my Verizon Galaxy s8+. You need to install unlocked firmware and the Odin Verizon userdata file, then use Odin to install the at&t QG1, then adb update to the right QG1, then adb install QJJ. Then you are done, and you will have all the Verizon bloat, including wifi, video, and hd calling.
Edit: I also added a screenshot showing that I am on Oreo, and that my service provider is Verizon.
It works for all US s8 and s8+

I wasn't able to go to ATT QG1 with Verizon firmware installed, so I had to go to unlocked G955U1 fimwere then flash ATT G955USQS1AQG1, the adb update to ATT G955USQU1AQG1 and then adb update again to QJJ.
There are two different AQG1 builds, you need to be on QU1AQG1 not QS1QG1 to install the Oreo QJJ update via adb.
I heard you could just flash the unlocked firmware and use a Verizon sim. Nothing extra, info is posted on Galaxy S8 reddit
Ok I was on Verizon AQJA, odin back to Verizon AQGL and then flashed the ATT oreo update and ended up with all the Verizon bloat and everything in settings saying Verizon. Information about your update
This firmware will update your S10+
from version G975USQU1ASBA
to version G975USQU1ASD3.
The file size is approximately 536.1 MB and the firmware was found on April 3, 2019.

There is a full Odin of sprint SC8 out and there's an uodate on Firmware science that is not carrier specific that updates SBA to SD3. Pretty sure the SC8 Odin can be installed for any carrier, just dont use the userdata unless you are on sprint. I'm installing the SD3 now.
This made a HUGE improvement on fingerprints. I deleted all my saved and when i re-did them it registered every touch with very little pressure for 4 fingers. (I do two for each thumb) I maybe got 3 errors saying press harder the whole setup. When unlocking it unlocked 10 out of 10 times and quicker than before.
Works perfect on verizon model. Thanks!

installed on my Sprint model, works great
So this won't work for unlocked u1?
Did this help the data issues for those on Sprint? I'm unlocked on Sprint service searching for a way to fix my issues since Sammy hasn't sent out the update yet but Sprint has.

Does it wipe your device? or just continues as is after the update?

Anyone get this as an OTA? I was just going to install the sprint SPR-G975USQU1ASC8 Odin file when i noticed this newer firmware on firmware.science. G975USQU1ASD3

Does this work for factory unlocked? And any confirmation that its helping with signal? Using Unlocked S10+ w/ ATT and it constantly drops data although it shows I have full signal.
My Verizon version just got this OTA today.

Those of you that flashed on verizon, when you go into the "system update" does it show the ASBA update and "Applied March 18, 2019''? I flashed the ASD3 and it shows that under the Software Information where build number, kernel version etc is.

I attempted to install on my unlocked S10+, and it was unsuccessful.
I have an unlocked S10+ (G975) and I am on the latest OneUI 2.0 Beta 7 build (ZSKL). I am trying to use the small (~135MB) upgrade package to upgrade to the official BSKO build. It can be found here, but also in other pages. I download the file, rename as update.zip, place on the root of my SD card, reboot into stock recovery mode and flash from there. The process starts and aborts with the following error:
E3004: This package is for "beyond2" devices; this is a "beyond2q".
According to this and other pages beyond2q is the name of the unlocked S10 (not S10+).
If you're asking whether I downloaded the S10 package instead of the S10+ (I did not... triple-checked) or even whether the page has the links inverted, try not to focus on that, but on the fact recovery thinks I have a different device.
Has anyone else run into this? I saw someone else's post claiming the same thing in another thread, but there was no response and thread is now closed.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think the Odin files are out yet, at least not that I've seen.

They are out, but that's the full 5GB update. I just wanted to flash the delta from Beta 7 (135MB). I still don't know how.

I bought it in the U.S. from the Samsung U.S. site unlocked.
I just went into my Settings > About screen and this is what I see:
Model Number: SM-G975U1
Baseband version: G975U1UEU2ZSKKL
It's clearly the model for which I am downloading the upgrade package and it's definitely not a beyond2q as the recovery flash is saying.

Unfortunately, that site (which I didn't know about, so thank you) doesn't have the OTA build for my model. See screenshot of the only one that is, attached.

I did not. Did you see the screenshot attached to my previous post? I chose G975U1, i.e. my S10+ model.

Tried and it failed too. I can't save the log, so it's all typing. Here's a relevant part:
Source: samsung/beyond2qltesq/beyond2g: 10/QP1A.190711.020/G975USQU2ZSKL:user/release-keys
Target: samsung/beyond2qltesq/beyond2g: 10/QP1A.190711.020/G975USQU2CSKP:user/release-keys
I am not sure where you pulled that update package from, but it seems to be for the wrong build (CSKP instead of BSKO).
Still not able to upgrade via recovery and still no OTA from Samsung for my OneUI 2.0 Beta 7 S10+.

The final build for U1 wasn't pushed yet, only for U last I heard. It's usually a week or so after all carriers have pushed the final release.

That would definitely make more sense. I will continue checking. Thanks.
