There was a module I was using yesterday, but I did not configure to my liking so I decided to uninstall it for the time being. Now I cannot find. What the module did was this, allow change to display corners, allow changing the statusbar height and also add the option notchar killer. Does anyone know where I can find this one module?

Are you sure it was a magisk modul? For me it sounds more like nacho notch... An app you find in playstore.

Yes I had substratum installed and adaway, but I did remove that magisk module I mentioned above before trying yours because I could not set the module G-Visual Mod up to my liking so I went to try your adb mods.

You know you'll have less screen if you make your statusbar smaller. Why not just black.it out? If you tell me what you want, I'll make the module for you. All you'll have to do is flash it in Magisk manager.

I agree with you on that, which is why I tried to make it bigger. The reason I do not want to black it out is because I want utilize my entire screen. I would appreciate if you could modify Notch Killer, so that when I click on that option in display cutout the statusbar is also made the same size of the notch. That way the intended functionality is filling the screen while not having the notch cutting or bring on top of content This is what G-Visual Mod used, https://github.com/zigafide/universal-notch-killer

That mod is not targeting the statusbar height so there is nothing to change. All I could do is increase the status bar height to 48 in a separate module but it would be 48 dip in portrait mode all the time, or at least, as long as my module is enabled.

Well notch killer is not targeting the statusbar, I just meant like additional code so it could also target the status bar as well when notch killer is the option selected. Maybe I should look into the display cutout apps because I tried tall cutout and the status bar shrinked in potrait, and with double cutout it shrinked in landscape.

Ah okay I will explain, so default seems to tell apps there is missing screen space in the middle so what happens to apps that do not support the notch there is a black bar. With Notch Killer code tells there is nothing there or no code is written about so what ends up happening is the whole screen is covered but the status bar ends up being smaller in apps that do not support the notch only otherwise like you also said no difference. One more thing to note is the amount of icons in each mode. Now the first image is default, the second is notch killer.

Alto's Adventure also doesnt support it.
I am searching for a way to make the display 18:9 and the radii of the top side of the display the same as the bottom side by cutting away a bit from top top of the display.
Do you guys think that would work with notch killer?

To answer your question it should have no issues the first image is default and the second is notch killer. Luckily for you content is not really cutoff possibly because this is in landscape rather than in potrait.

I have done some basic mods for the Pixel that have been well received, and @StickyEyez requested I do it for the Pixel XL as well. You can see my original post here https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel/themes/mod-navbar-tuner-additional-qa-tile-rows-t3522314
**I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO YOUR DEVICE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK**
**v1.0 2017.01.05**
This mod is based on the NMF26V update, but it should work on NMF26U as well. It may work on older versions, but I have no information regarding this. If you want to test on other versions, you should back up your original /system/framework/framework-res.apk and system/priv-app/SystemUIGoogle/SystemUIGoogle.apk
NMF26# increased the NavBar height to a ridiculous 48dpi, so I have added 4dpi step-downs to 32dpi.
I've also made changes to make the Statusbar slightly smaller at 20dpi (original is 24dpi).
Only install one of each mod at a time. The NavBar/Statusbar mode impacts framework-res.apk and System UI mods impact SystemUIGoogle.apk, so if you select multiple it'll just install the last one you selected.
The mods that can be applied are:
NavBar/StatusBar dpi
0dpi/0dpi
0dpi/20dpi
0dpi/24dpi
32dpi/24dpi
32dpi/20dpi
36dpi/24dpi
36dpi/20dpi
40dpi/24dpi
40dpi/20dpi
44dpi/24dpi
44dpi/20dpi
48dpi/20dpi
SystemUI Mods
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness + 4 QS Tiles
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness + 4 QS Tiles + Battery Mod
Return to Stock
framework-res.apk
SystemUIGoogle.apk
Note, the 0dpi/0dpi mod is actually 0dpi/1dpi because if you set the statusbar to 0dpi you cannot pull it down while in apps. If applied to a standard setup, you will find that the tops of the clock show in the statusbar, and will not look good. But if you use a different launcher, I have been told this is not noticeable.
You can download the mod here Stranula_Full_Flash_v1.zip
To install you will need to have TWRP installed, then simply install the zip and follow the on screen menus.

I am about to be on a plane for the rest of the day, so I've updated the original post. @Cbass15 has reported the installer and mods to be working, so hopefully it is good to go. He is also going to be putting up some screenshots soon.
Here is just a couple of screenshots...
The first picture is a picture of the 4QT, along with brightness adjuster removed and battery percent enabled
The picture with a Nav bar is 32/24
The picture without a Nav Bar is 0/20
Want to see anymore screenshots before you flash? Let me know,I'll hook you up with one. :good:
Any chance of adding the center clock mod?
I don't see much point in removing the brightness slider as it does not shrink the area it was in. Unless you literally don't want to accidentally touch it.

Unfortunately, not from me. I don't have the time to invest in modding. I just happen to be on vacation and had some spare time to do this.
I've been waiting to root and install TWRP until we get xposed framework because I want to hide the nav bar and enable pie controls. I see with this mod that I can hide the nav bar. Are there any good apps or installs for pie control like the GravityBox module with Xposed? I would love something that works similar to the pie controls in GravityBox. I've tried stuff like LMT but it doesn't appear to be as smooth.

lol No, I'm talking about the shadow at the bottom not the icons. I guess the screenshot isn't showing my issue off very well.
To see the shadowing one must turn the brightness to the max. I don't know how to get rid of it. I know I don't have it but I am in Nougat. And not so many icons can be presented at once.

use transparent pulldown menu, might look better than.
I had an iPhone for a few years and the pixel brought me back. The progress android has made has been phenomenal but I see a few things missing that used to be here before. Honestly I think I'm overlooking it but who knows.
FYI I have an unlocked bootloader and am running magisk running stock rom and kernel.
1. I used to love my Note 1's navbar with the search and menu button in the navbar. I remember xposed being able to do it but the modules haven't been updated and just cause a bootloop on the pixel. The customnavbar by paphonb doesn't allow you to have the menu button on the bar. Is there a way to make this work with oreo?
2. What happened to the text notifications? I replaced Google's main text app with Textra but I recall there being custom notifications and ringers all being in the contacts app.
3. What happened to changing the apps notification sound? Back then it was really easy to set the sound of the apps but I hardly see that feature.
4. Can you change the lockscreen clock font? I changed my system font and the clock has a question mark where the colon used to be. I know I could find another font but I really like this one.
5. How do you get in and out of the phone quickly? I find myself double tapping on the display and most of the time it works. Is there a better way?
Note: I saw some of these tweaks were on substratum but I couldn't get it to work for me. I tried to use substratum but the themes won't take because I'm on stock or because I don't know what I'm doing. I would like a clean lockscreen or one where I could swipe to the left or right and start recording. I forget the name but there used to be an app that customized the lockscreen.
If anyone could help me figure out Oreo I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much for your help!
The font fix is exactly what I needed. I hated that square or question mark for the colon!
The custom nav bar app is the one I was talking about by php. I don't see a way to add the menu button to the nav bar on that app but I'll look and confirm.
I still use my iPhone silicone cases for this phone so the fingerprint won't work. That's disappointing I thought there might be a quicker way.

So this adds the button that looks like the menu but it doesn't function like the menu at all. It disappears and I think it has to do with the 66 being set as the code. I don't think that's the right code for the menu button to actually work. I took a screenshot.

Check my answer again. The youtuber disabled the notch on an AMOLED display. While any android phone you can disable the notch using various methods, on IPS displays you're still going to see the notch. While icons are moved down under the notch area, you also lose display space.

Thank you for answer. I'm already using Nacho, but if I need root to get icons bellow notch, for now it will stay stock.
Anyway, can you point me to a tutorial for this?
