Updating Razer Phone (currently rooted). I have some questions. - Razer Phone Questions & Answers

Greetings everyone,
So I've had my Razer Phone for some time now. Not long after I got it I rooted it and have had it that way since then. I've never updated my phone.
Today I decided to check out the update information and it showed that I can now update to Android Pie. My phone is currently on Oreo 8.1.0.
Since my phone is currently rooted I would like to know if I would lose my root or if I could encounter any issue when doing so.
Thanks!

Update for Canadian Nexus (4.0.1)

I got a GN from Virgin last week and last night I got a system update.
I went ahead with the update and then checked the version in About Phone and it was 4.0.1 after the update.
I don't know what version I had before the update last night and I also have no clue what this update brought to my phone
Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone else got it and if they know what it does
BTW I had rooted my phone and I still have root after the update

Updating android version while rooted?

A few months ago when I got the update notification I chose not to update at the time and got rid of the update file. I have decided to update my android version (still stuck on 2.3.6) but how do I go about doing so? Also, can i leave my phone rooted and running the current rom+mod when I update my android version? If not - what do I do so that i can update without ruining my phone? Also would I be able to flash roms made for different android versions than the one I have?
Thanks for the help guys.

[Q] Never-rooted phone: Any new steps to root, now?

So, my wife (and I) own the E4GT. I've got mine rooted; no issue; done a long time ago. My wife's currently running 100% stock, has never been rooted, and has received all the official OTA updates, to date.
I'd like to root her phone, and install the Wild-for-the-Night ROM on it. Are there any new caveats to rooting her phone since it has received all the official OTA updates? If so, would someone please point me to the correct guide? I've searched, but all the rooting documents I've found appear to be 1+ year old and seemingly out of date.
Thanks!

Update Original ROM After Root?

Hello all, got a question. I rooted my One V last month, and kept the original ROM since I don't have a real need for any custom ROM.
Anyways, about last week I received a pop-up that says the stock ROM needs an update. Something about a newer battery meter, or something. Anyways, if I do the update, will it get bricked, or will I lose root? It's been forever since I've used stock ROM's, and don't wanna update if it'll brick or lose my root.
Thanks!

A Lollipop Question!

hi guys my question is how much time the update takes to arrives as OTA update? because I don't want to upgrade my lg g3 D855 trought the pc suite (cuz last time it bricks my phone!) my phone is still running android 4.4.2 v10l-global-com. So there's a time to wait until the update arrives as OTA?
Thanks in advance guys!
Will be interested to hear if you can stil sync after as the software (as opposed to phone firmware) update a week ago still has the warning over not working properly with Android 5 phones.
